I had a wonderful stay: perfect location in the city center, very nice and comfortable room, kind staff. They provided a voucher to have breakfast at the coffeeshop in front, or even bought breakfast for us.
Would definitely stay here again!

Holiday trip booked 1200 for two people. On the same day, only we and another group of guests can almost be considered a private building. The room is quiet, comfortable and clean. There is a washing machine to wash clothes and dry clothes for free. There is also an observation deck on the top floor to see the scenery. I really think this price is very top.

This was my first time staying here. The room and lobby were very clean. I found the breakfast more Chinese-style. It was delicious, and the restaurant environment was also very nice.
The hot springs and swimming pools were great; I really loved them. The facilities are quite extensive, and I loved the hot springs, pool, and spa. The hot springs were simply wonderful. I'll definitely be back.
There's a convenience store nearby, so it's quite convenient for shopping.

Glenn ScarffeI highly recommend this hotel for all travellers, especially foreigners - note I was a self-drive so the location wasn't an issue. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by a lovely young lady who came outside to show me my car space. Her equally-lovely colleague then assisted in checking me in and making me feel very welcome. I was given a map of the local area and some suggested eating spots. They also helped in charging my phone. The girls' spoke enough English to help me, and the breakfast at a nearby cafe was great. The room was exactly what I needed - a very clean room, comfortable bed, and nice warm shower. I am going to stay again next time I visit beautiful Taiwan.

Pros: well established Naruwan Group. Fantastic shower water pressure after a tiring day.
Cons: the original booked hotel was closed for upgrading and i was not informed. The whole building was closed when i arrived. I immediately call the hotel through trip.com and the receptionist informed that they has arranged for a room at the hotel next door (also Naruwan Group’s hotel). I was expecting a paddy field view room but i was assigned to the room facing heavy industrial lots.
Other than that, it was a good stat at Naruwan Hotel and value for money.

I stayed here for one night on February 14, 2026. In terms of location, this hotel is excellent. There are two paid parking lots next door, and the hotel itself also provides a limited number of parking spaces for guests. It's close to Tiehua Music Village and Taitung Tourist Night Market, with a gas station, KFC, and Showtime Cinemas nearby. The location truly couldn't be better.
However, the hotel facilities are basic, and the soundproofing is really terrible. Whether it's between rooms (above, below, or to the sides) or between the outdoor and indoor spaces, the sound insulation is quite poor. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd recommend bringing earplugs.
The breakfast is simple but not sloppy, which is a definite plus.

The hotel offers a private parking lot, but with only 7 spots, it's strictly first-come, first-served. If it's full, guests can use a nearby partner paid parking facility; just present the receipt to the hotel upon departure to receive a NT$120 credit towards your parking fee. Alternatively, if you opt for street parking, simply give your parking ticket to the front desk at check-out, and they will handle the payment.
The location is excellent; a vibrant food district is right outside the hotel, so you'll never have to worry about finding a meal.
Rooms are spacious, boast great shower water pressure, and the air conditioning is refreshingly cold.
Breakfast is adequate and filling, featuring items like plain rice, braised minced pork, congee, stir-fried vegetables, tea eggs, steamed buns, grape juice, soy milk, coffee, toast with various spreads, and two types of fruit.
Overall, a hotel definitely worth a return visit.

The hotel switched my reservation to another hotel without prior notification due to its renovation process. It added extra complications to our experience. The hotel was not bad and location was good too. It’ll be better if the communication was handled in a more efficient manner.

yona vanI had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open.
As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore.
I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right.
In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.

This is an old hotel, and the air quality in the rooms was really bad, very humid, especially on holidays.
The service staff's professionalism needs improvement.
Some areas of the public bath's hot spring egg-boiling area were not open to the public.
It was my first time taking my girlfriend here, and the excessive humidity in the room, coupled with the basic facilities that didn't meet the standards of a typical four-star hotel, ruined our vacation. I wouldn't recommend this place for couples.
Given the overall environment, it was a disappointment for both of us, and we won't choose to stay here again. There are other better options nearby.
