LLiuMingGreat value! The location is ideal. Any closer to the bridge and you don’t get the full view of it. It’s also in the quieter and scenic side of the bridge, which to me is a huge plus. And if you want the nightlife and the music of just walk 5-7 minutes into town.
The room was small, but the amazing balcony made up for it. I must have sat out there for 2 hours just soaking up the view. The staff were nice and responsive. Picked me up from the parking lot and helped my luggage up 5 floors!
Certainly you will find more upscale places, but they will generally be at least 200 RMB or $30 more. I think the price to performance ratio is good for Zhenyuan.

KKenzoMy stay at ”Qingniao Qimeng Riverside Inn” in Zhenyuan truly exceeded my expectations.
The room was brand new, with tasteful color schemes, a clean and bright atmosphere, and very comfortable beds. The decor was simple yet sophisticated, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. The innkeeper was also very friendly and polite.
The best part was that it even had an elevator! This is rare in waterfront buildings in an ancient town, making it incredibly convenient when you have a lot of luggage.
The room also had a huge balcony with amazing views. During the day, you could see the entire Wuyang River, and the night view was absolutely stunning—the stilted houses on the opposite bank lit up, their reflections shimmering on the water, creating a truly atmospheric scene.
In the morning, sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee and listening to the river was so relaxing. Overall, the stay was quiet and comfortable, with the environment, views, and convenience all scoring full marks.
Highly recommended, especially for travelers who want to relax in Zhenyuan and slowly appreciate the river views.

The room is comfortable, the service is intimate, the location is particularly good, just in the core scenic area of the ancient town, eating, lodging and transportation are very convenient, downstairs is a large parking lot, the proprietress also bought us a cheaper drifting ticket than the Internet, all aspects are very satisfied, the next trip will definitely come again

GGuest UserThere is an open-air balcony with a great location for night view. The tatami children like it very much and the decoration is very style. The boss is enthusiastic in service, and the fish in sour soup is given a discount. It is very convenient to eat, live and travel. At night, I watched the night view on the terrace, and at the window downstairs during the day, I stole the feeling of floating life for half a day.

GGuest UserZhenyuan is a place with green mountains and clear waters, and it is a great place to travel. The homestay recommended by a friend is also very nice. The room and the surrounding environment are really great, and the owner is very enthusiastic and easy-going. The key is the price, it is so cheap, beyond my imagination. When you come back to rest after playing tired, you can also go to the foot bath shop on the first floor to soak your feet and relax. After soaking your feet, you can go upstairs to rest directly. In a word, it is great.

GGuest UserWe had a very nice stay here at this hotel. Was given the ground floor which I totally love it. The view is just right in front, and we can simply walk out at any time to take pictures. Room was clean and well maintained. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect too. It's in between a vibrant local morning market and the old ancient town. Will definitely book this hotel again if I ever come back here.

GGuest UserSpacious comfortable room. Excellent location，only meters from riverfront at a good price and central to shops，popular streets and sights yet quiet fora good sleep. Bathroom was a bit narrow but still worked for me. Squat-type toilet which is very common in Guizhou. Overall great value!

GGuest UserThe location of this inn is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the ancient town. Right opposite, you'll find a lively snack street offering various local treats and late-night food. Sifangjing Ancient Alley is just across the road, and the museum is practically next door. Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave are also very close and easily accessible. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and are well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Plus, the rooms are very spacious! The front desk staff were wonderful – so warm, helpful, and patient. Highly recommended!

SStepan J.This is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there’s a shared balcony with a great view of the town and surrounding hills. The host is incredibly kind and supportive. I genuinely felt right at home, making it hard to leave. I hope to return someday. Along with exploring the town and trying the local cuisine, I highly recommend hiking up Shipping Hill (starting from the west-side path) for spectacular views of the area.
