GGuest UserTraveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe guesthouse in the ancient town is the only one with a large terrace, offering a fantastic view. During the day, you can watch tourists stroll through Zhenyuan Ancient Town, and at night, sitting on the balcony and enjoying the nighttime lights is very relaxing. The only downside is the air conditioning; adjusting the temperature didn't work, turning it on made it even hotter, and turning it off left me shivering.

LLingyuhanVery home-like homestay, the boss is a meticulous Guangdong guy, every layout of the home is very interesting, super good breakfast, you can wash clothes and dry convenient, there are good-looking little people's books, the most important thing is Go and countless tea tea sets, and a good cat.
The homestay is on two floors, the living room hall and dining room on the first floor, the kitchen, the tea room, and the small toilet have a fully automatic washing machine, laundry detergent and disinfectant, very intimate. I really like the small fish tank in the living room, the beautiful scenery, the restaurant is also very beautiful, there are electric fans, very cool
The second floor is two bedrooms, each with a toilet and shower, air conditioning and electric fans, and a balcony to dry.
In the middle is a small hall where you can drink tea, read books, play chess and play all kinds of games...
The boss will help us find a parking space and pick us up. It’s good for everyone to chat.
So I was very satisfied with another day.

GGuest UserI chose Gui Lai Xi based on the ratings, and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's design is innovative, with a white aesthetic that feels particularly warm and stylish. It has a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, especially since you can see Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave from the room windows. Facing the bustling crowds outside, it’s quite a pleasant experience.
The hotel's location is fantastic; it's close to the riverbank, the ancient alleys, and the intangible cultural heritage food street. Zhenyuan's nightlife is beautiful, and it's most enchanting when the lights first come on in the evening. Standing on the hotel's rooftop terrace at that time, you truly see a river of lights and a city full of tenderness.
What's more, the hotel owner is incredibly nice. When we couldn't get a taxi on our departure day, the hotel helped us call one. Because the small town's alleys were under renovation and the taxi was momentarily stuck, the owner personally drove us on an electric scooter to meet the taxi, ensuring we arrived at the bus station smoothly.
In short, Zhenyuan is a place I'd definitely visit again, offering beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful accommodation.

SshenyubitThis guesthouse is a true hidden gem! Nestled along the Wuyang River, the view from our window was simply unforgettable. Its prime location right in Zhenyuan Ancient Town made exploring and dining incredibly convenient. A huge shoutout to the owner for the generous upgrade to one of their newly renovated rooms – it was spacious and modern. And the fresh, hand-ground coffee he made for us was absolutely divine! This is definitely a place worth staying at least once in your lifetime. Superb! 👍🏻

NNiziI rarely book B&Bs, but this one was surprisingly great! It has an elevator, which made it easy to manage luggage. The location is absolutely fantastic, with stunning views of Wuyang River, Zhusheng Bridge, and Shiping Mountain right from the window. The river view is incredibly beautiful; sitting by the window with a cup of tea, admiring the scenery, was truly delightful and left me wanting more.

HHeibaibowuguanThree years ago, when I visited Zhenyuan, the He Family Compound had a locked door. The tour guide described it as the residence of a wealthy family in ancient times. This year, on my second visit to Zhenyuan, I stumbled upon this inn, which had been converted into a hotel. I brought my friends to stay there, experiencing the traces of time left in the old house, and they all found it a truly novel experience. The hotel is very new, I heard it's still in its soft opening phase. The exterior of the old house has been preserved, and the interior design is designed to fit in with the style of the old house, creating a seamless experience. The staff was very attentive, pointing out nearby parking and meeting us at the Xinda Bridge to help with our luggage. The manager even offered to upgrade our room. Unfortunately, since the hotel was new, the room smelled a bit strong, so we decided to leave after just one night. While it was a bit disappointing, the flaws outweighed the advantages, and I highly recommend staying here.

LLuke OSIThe room is large, with two 1.35 rice beds, very spacious and comfortable. They are all brand new. Basically the same new bedding and towels as the all-season hotel. There is also a free breakfast, rice noodles and noodles are made, and a second one can be added. Parking indoors, sometimes you need to change the location back and forth to let others' cars go out, which is a little troublesome. 500 meters from the edge of the ancient city. Overall very good!

YYushaoyeFor self-driving trips, this hotel offers parking, which is very convenient. The driver picked us up right away and took us to the hotel in just three minutes. The hotel is new, and the facilities are clean and new. We even used the washing machine at night. The bedding was very comfortable. The river view room is a bit far from the main attractions, which is a nice quiet escape. A taxi is only 6 yuan, which is perfect. However, taxis are scarce in that area, making it difficult to find one. The room came with mineral water and some snacks, which was very thoughtful and warm. I was very satisfied with the room and the location. My room was on the fourth floor, which was a bit tiring to climb. Breakfast was a 10 yuan coupon for soup dumplings from a nearby shop, but since there were three of us, they only gave us two. I think the shop shouldn't have been so picky. The 600 yuan room fee was already paid. If the children were older, giving an extra coupon wouldn't be a big deal; it would have made the guests feel much more comfortable. Of course, it wasn't easy, and the room itself was nice, so I give it a full score.

GGuest UserI came from afar and chose this B&B. It really gave me a surprise. The housekeeper not only provided warm service but also introduced us how to travel in Zhenyuan. It was concise and clear. I followed the housekeeper's recommended route. It was very good. I also like the decoration style of the B&B. It is retro and romantic. There is a cafe downstairs. Sit down and taste a cup of coffee made by the housekeeper. It is very comfortable. It relaxes my tired body and mind after a long time of traveling around. This trip to this store has deepened my impression. I believe I will come again.
