GGuest UserThe room is quite large, right by the Wuyang River. It's very pleasant to watch the night view of Zhenyuan Ancient Town from the balcony. I saw the unique ”evil ways” of Zhenyuan. The proprietress is very kind and recommended restaurants for locals at affordable prices. She also gave us some fruit when we checked in and was able to help us with any needs. The proprietress also paid for parking after we checked in. Although the fee was not much, it was very heartwarming. I recommend staying here.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse in the ancient town is the only one with a large terrace, offering a fantastic view. During the day, you can watch tourists stroll through Zhenyuan Ancient Town, and at night, sitting on the balcony and enjoying the nighttime lights is very relaxing. The only downside is the air conditioning; adjusting the temperature didn't work, turning it on made it even hotter, and turning it off left me shivering.

GGuest UserI chose Gui Lai Xi based on the ratings, and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's design is innovative, with a white aesthetic that feels particularly warm and stylish. It has a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, especially since you can see Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave from the room windows. Facing the bustling crowds outside, it’s quite a pleasant experience.
The hotel's location is fantastic; it's close to the riverbank, the ancient alleys, and the intangible cultural heritage food street. Zhenyuan's nightlife is beautiful, and it's most enchanting when the lights first come on in the evening. Standing on the hotel's rooftop terrace at that time, you truly see a river of lights and a city full of tenderness.
What's more, the hotel owner is incredibly nice. When we couldn't get a taxi on our departure day, the hotel helped us call one. Because the small town's alleys were under renovation and the taxi was momentarily stuck, the owner personally drove us on an electric scooter to meet the taxi, ensuring we arrived at the bus station smoothly.
In short, Zhenyuan is a place I'd definitely visit again, offering beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful accommodation.

GGuest UserOur entire stay was a five-star experience! The guesthouse's decor created a wonderful atmosphere, exuding elegance and charm at every turn. The rooms were spacious, and the hot water supply in the bathroom was consistent, making daily routines very convenient. Having an elevator meant no effort was needed to get around, and the free parking was a huge relief. You can go fishing for fun or relax and catch up on shows in the audio-visual room. The staff were friendly and even patiently shared local travel tips. The value for money far exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time.

HHeibaibowuguanThree years ago, when I visited Zhenyuan, the He Family Compound had a locked door. The tour guide described it as the residence of a wealthy family in ancient times. This year, on my second visit to Zhenyuan, I stumbled upon this inn, which had been converted into a hotel. I brought my friends to stay there, experiencing the traces of time left in the old house, and they all found it a truly novel experience. The hotel is very new, I heard it's still in its soft opening phase. The exterior of the old house has been preserved, and the interior design is designed to fit in with the style of the old house, creating a seamless experience. The staff was very attentive, pointing out nearby parking and meeting us at the Xinda Bridge to help with our luggage. The manager even offered to upgrade our room. Unfortunately, since the hotel was new, the room smelled a bit strong, so we decided to leave after just one night. While it was a bit disappointing, the flaws outweighed the advantages, and I highly recommend staying here.

NNiziI rarely book B&Bs, but this one was surprisingly great! It has an elevator, which made it easy to manage luggage. The location is absolutely fantastic, with stunning views of Wuyang River, Zhusheng Bridge, and Shiping Mountain right from the window. The river view is incredibly beautiful; sitting by the window with a cup of tea, admiring the scenery, was truly delightful and left me wanting more.

YYushaoyeFor self-driving trips, this hotel offers parking, which is very convenient. The driver picked us up right away and took us to the hotel in just three minutes. The hotel is new, and the facilities are clean and new. We even used the washing machine at night. The bedding was very comfortable. The river view room is a bit far from the main attractions, which is a nice quiet escape. A taxi is only 6 yuan, which is perfect. However, taxis are scarce in that area, making it difficult to find one. The room came with mineral water and some snacks, which was very thoughtful and warm. I was very satisfied with the room and the location. My room was on the fourth floor, which was a bit tiring to climb. Breakfast was a 10 yuan coupon for soup dumplings from a nearby shop, but since there were three of us, they only gave us two. I think the shop shouldn't have been so picky. The 600 yuan room fee was already paid. If the children were older, giving an extra coupon wouldn't be a big deal; it would have made the guests feel much more comfortable. Of course, it wasn't easy, and the room itself was nice, so I give it a full score.
