"First of all, the host is very welcoming and will contact you proactively after you book. They are also willing to answer any local questions. Because the location is a bit tricky to find – you have to go through a small alley to the very back and then up to the 5th floor – the host will proactively contact you to help you find it. The cleanliness is so-so. There's a restaurant downstairs in the alley that emits a slight odor. There was also a strong musty smell when it rained. The bedding was visibly old and yellowed. There was also heavy limescale in the sink and bathroom. The location is excellent, in the center of Zhenyuan Ancient Town, near the Dachanggong (Big Factory) bus stop. However, private cars are mostly not allowed in Zhenyuan Ancient Town; you can only enter by local minibus (which is very small). So, those with a lot of luggage should consider this carefully. It's only a 5-minute walk to attractions like Zhusheng Bridge and Shiping Mountain, which is a plus. However, the building is quite old; the room I booked is in Building C, which doesn't have an elevator, and the hallways are narrow. Those with large luggage should choose this option with caution."

It would have been absolutely perfect if they could have also helped move the luggage from the door to the car. That would have provided a truly complete and satisfying experience from start to finish."

The inn's location is excellent, quiet yet conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the ancient town and enjoy the night views of the Wuyang River. The room was clean and tidy, warmly and comfortably furnished, fully equipped, and the soft bedding ensured a restful sleep. The owner was warm and attentive, providing thoughtful and meticulous service, answering all questions promptly, and patiently recommending sightseeing routes and local cuisine. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, offering great value for money, and the stay was relaxing and pleasant. I highly recommend this inn when visiting Zhenyuan, and I will definitely choose it again next time."

"The B&B I stayed in this time was the best ever. First of all, the B&B facilities are very good, the rooms are large, the bathrooms are clean, and the toiletries are also very good. There are also many conditioners, body lotions, etc. that are not available in B&Bs... I use a Dyson hair dryer. It can be seen that the boss is very attentive to details and is more humane. The layout of the room is very reasonable, and it is really pleasant to sit on the balcony, drink tea, chat and listen to music. The restaurant on the first floor also has special delicacies. You can enjoy local specialties without going to restaurants outside. The dishes are large. The taste is also good, recommended to stay!"
