"This river-view room is fantastic, right next to Zhusheng Bridge – a prime spot! Don't let the guesthouse's small facade fool you; the rooms are fully equipped, clean, tidy, and comfortable. Qinglong Cave is just across the river. Within a two-minute walk, you'll find scenic spots, supermarkets, restaurants, breakfast places, and local specialty shops – super convenient! The owner is warm and down-to-earth. He even picked us up from outside town and arranged free parking for my car in his garage, helping us with our luggage. It was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. We had a wonderful time in Zhenyuan Ancient Town, and this guesthouse, 'Zhuimeng Shuixie,' was definitely a big part of that great experience. "This was a last-minute addition to our itinerary & it turned out to be the best accom of the trip. Perfect location in the heart of the ancient town with the balcony overlooking 观圣桥. Absolutely beautiful. Room was big & beautifully decorated. The bathtub was also excellent. Lots of food & places to explore nearby. It was just opposite the hill 石屏山 where we climbed for a great view of the town. We also went up 青龙洞 & got some stunning shots of the buildings."

"The night view of the ancient town was beautiful, and the hotel environment was fantastic. We arrived in the ancient town around 9 PM, and the hotel staff, worried that we had a lot of luggage, personally came to pick us up at the drop-off point and brought us fresh fruit. The service was very heartwarming. We were assigned a river-view king room with a private terrace overlooking the water, and the view from the room was superb.
I should mention that this trip to Zhenyuan wasn't originally on our Guizhou itinerary, but after arriving, I discovered that the beautiful scenery and cultural environment of Zhenyuan Ancient Town were a pleasant surprise—it was amazing!"

The housekeeper was very attentive; even during the peak season of Chinese New Year, when the parking lot was full, they were able to reserve a space in advance. The guesthouse clearly shows the owner's meticulous maintenance and attention to detail in its decoration. Check-in is self-service, and there's a water heater, so allow extra time for a family to boil water before showering. There's a small rooftop terrace where you can enjoy fresh air and take photos in the morning. Overall, I was satisfied and would definitely choose Liushe again next time I visit Zhenyuan Ancient Town."

"Since cars aren't allowed inside the ancient town, we had to park in an outside lot. The owner personally drove a motorized three-wheeler to pick us up and help transport our luggage. The river view at night is absolutely breathtaking, and sitting on the balcony enjoying the breeze was wonderfully relaxing. This area within the ancient town is incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. What's more, it's super convenient – just a few steps downstairs and you're right in the bustling heart of town."

"This was a spontaneous short trip with my best friend. I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but this time I was truly blown away.
First, the location—the guesthouse's backyard is right next to a riverside path. In the evening, a stroll here and you can easily find the Qinglong Cave night view and the bar street. When the lights come on, the whole river looks like it's sprinkled with diamonds. My friend and I even booked a photoshoot.
We booked a twin room for my friend with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view. The cleanliness was also excellent; the landlady said she cleaned it herself, even disinfecting the toilet seat twice. As a germaphobe, I was practically in tears.
In short! For any girls' trip, this is the place to go without hesitation. Next time, we're planning to book a three-day, two-night stay to make up for all the night view photos we didn't get to take and all the snacks we didn't get to try."

The location is absolutely prime, right by Zhusheng Bridge, with Shiping Mountain and Qinglong Cave nearby, offering unbeatable views. The service is attentive, and both breakfast and afternoon tea are prepared with great care. They even gave us local green tea as a souvenir. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserTraveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

LLiuMingGreat value! The location is ideal. Any closer to the bridge and you don’t get the full view of it. It’s also in the quieter and scenic side of the bridge, which to me is a huge plus. And if you want the nightlife and the music of just walk 5-7 minutes into town.
The room was small, but the amazing balcony made up for it. I must have sat out there for 2 hours just soaking up the view. The staff were nice and responsive. Picked me up from the parking lot and helped my luggage up 5 floors!
Certainly you will find more upscale places, but they will generally be at least 200 RMB or $30 more. I think the price to performance ratio is good for Zhenyuan.

The room is clean and comfortable, with good lighting, and the details of the bed are also well done. Especially the warm reception of the landlord. When we arrived, the landlord personally greeted us and introduced the tourist attractions and food recommendations in Zhenyuan in detail. Later, whether answering questions or providing help, the landlord was very patient, very good! u1s1, the night view is really good, I recommend friends who come to play to go out and visit the night view at night

The room was exceptionally clean, and the Dyson hairdryer, Marshall Bluetooth speaker, and smart toilet put its amenities ahead of most B&Bs. What truly stood out, however, was their genuine service. From the moment I booked, they created a WeChat service group that responded instantly to any request. They were incredibly attentive to our needs, and the thoughtful touches like the afternoon tea and complimentary mini-bar items really made us feel the personal touch that differentiates a great B&B from a chain hotel. This is exactly what I imagine a B&B should be like.

JJanet, MalaysiaThis homestay is located right at the opposite of Qinglong Cave. From the balcony, we have a closeup view of the Zhusheng Bridge, day and night. We kept the curtain open the entire time as the view is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you to the homestay owner who is very friendly and easy to talk to. She picked us up with her cute mini 'car' from the main street as we had 2 heavy luggages. We called her using the free Internet call feature from Trip.com as we didn't have a local phone number. Apparently, the main ancient city street is closed off from cars at certain hours of the day. She was also helpful to contact the taxi driver to send us to the train station on our departure day. There is no Didi service in Zhenyuan city so we had to rely on the local taxi.
It's a fuss-free homestay of which we enjoyed very much. Clean, hot shower, comfortable bedding, usual hotel amenities and the absolutely beautiful view from the balcony.

Convenient location adjacent to the Ancient City but tucked away on a quit street allowing for peaceful rest at night. Charming room in historical building but with modern amenities. The owner speaks English well and gets out of his way to help his guest. Anander, the owner, walked to taxi with me and got taxi for me since it was a busy time during National Holiday. He is very attentive providing cold water during the hot days. The owner helped contacting my next hotel and gave advice for easy transportation with following up late to make sure I got safely to the next hotel. Best service I ever had traveling in China!

The receptionist, Ms. Wang, is exceptionally warm and attentive. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with a cozy and elegant ambiance. The bedding is spotless, and the mattresses are soft and comfortable. The bathrooms feature a separate shower and toilet, ample hot water, and are thoroughly clean.

GGuest UserWe had a very nice stay here at this hotel. Was given the ground floor which I totally love it. The view is just right in front, and we can simply walk out at any time to take pictures. Room was clean and well maintained. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect too. It's in between a vibrant local morning market and the old ancient town. Will definitely book this hotel again if I ever come back here.

GGuest UserSpacious comfortable room. Excellent location，only meters from riverfront at a good price and central to shops，popular streets and sights yet quiet fora good sleep. Bathroom was a bit narrow but still worked for me. Squat-type toilet which is very common in Guizhou. Overall great value!
