Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

Service: The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic. Due to the traffic control in the ancient city, we needed to communicate and adjust the route. We arrived smoothly after confirmation by phone. Helped me find the best parking spot. The boss and his family are from Sichuan and they are very nice. Environment: It is close to the road on one side and Wuyang River on the other, which is convenient for strolling without interfering with shopping along the street. Hygiene: The minimalist style of decoration from the front desk to the room fits the theme of the homestay, but the interior is simple but not simplistic. The details reveal the owner's wholehearted service to the guests. The quilts are clean and tidy, and the floor, walls and bathrooms have been cleaned or maintained without dead ends. In addition, it is equipped with a complete set of disposable environmentally friendly toiletries and bathing supplies, which I also like 👍. Facilities: The most frightening thing when traveling in winter is the cold. When we checked in, the temperature outside was only 4 to 8 degrees Celsius at night, which was still quite cold. The Xiaomi inverter air conditioner installed indoors can ensure a warm and comfortable sleep. The smart toilet and bathroom (with plenty of hot water) are of the same standard as star hotels and are very comfortable to use. Even the slippers are better than those in other star hotels. The room is spacious and bright. The store even installed a simple lift to facilitate the loading and unloading of luggage! In summary: This is a very suitable homestay that can give you a warm feeling (suitable for: couples, parent-child families, etc.), you will never be disappointed if you choose it directly!

Great value! The location is ideal. Any closer to the bridge and you don’t get the full view of it. It’s also in the quieter and scenic side of the bridge, which to me is a huge plus. And if you want the nightlife and the music of just walk 5-7 minutes into town. The room was small, but the amazing balcony made up for it. I must have sat out there for 2 hours just soaking up the view. The staff were nice and responsive. Picked me up from the parking lot and helped my luggage up 5 floors! Certainly you will find more upscale places, but they will generally be at least 200 RMB or $30 more. I think the price to performance ratio is good for Zhenyuan.

My stay at ”Qingniao Qimeng Riverside Inn” in Zhenyuan truly exceeded my expectations. The room was brand new, with tasteful color schemes, a clean and bright atmosphere, and very comfortable beds. The decor was simple yet sophisticated, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. The innkeeper was also very friendly and polite. The best part was that it even had an elevator! This is rare in waterfront buildings in an ancient town, making it incredibly convenient when you have a lot of luggage. The room also had a huge balcony with amazing views. During the day, you could see the entire Wuyang River, and the night view was absolutely stunning—the stilted houses on the opposite bank lit up, their reflections shimmering on the water, creating a truly atmospheric scene. In the morning, sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee and listening to the river was so relaxing. Overall, the stay was quiet and comfortable, with the environment, views, and convenience all scoring full marks. Highly recommended, especially for travelers who want to relax in Zhenyuan and slowly appreciate the river views.

Our entire stay was a five-star experience! The guesthouse's decor created a wonderful atmosphere, exuding elegance and charm at every turn. The rooms were spacious, and the hot water supply in the bathroom was consistent, making daily routines very convenient. Having an elevator meant no effort was needed to get around, and the free parking was a huge relief. You can go fishing for fun or relax and catch up on shows in the audio-visual room. The staff were friendly and even patiently shared local travel tips. The value for money far exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time.

The room was very clean and the environment was great. It was also convenient for dining. The ancient town is rich in history and definitely worth a visit. The night view is truly unique, and the architecture along both banks of the Wuyang River is particularly distinctive.

This homestay is really heartwarming! The boss is very good and the service is super thoughtful and caring. I accidentally left something, and the boss contacted me as soon as he found it, especially responsible. There are elderly people in the same group, and the boss also specially arranged a room with a balcony for us without climbing stairs, especially attentive and considerate. The room was clean and tidy, the living was very comfortable, the night view was beautiful, the whole experience was full, I really recommend it!

We have a wonderful stay after a long ride from Guiyang. Received by a sweet and helpful young girl who help us with our itinerary before we start going around the old town. Her reply to our WeChat queries is always immediate whenever we have issue. We are so thankful to the young boss who upgrade our stay and he shared with us about ZhenYuan. He also help us to book our ride to Kaili. Will visit ZhenYuan again for the next Dragon Boat Festival.

Friends came over to play together and everyone was very satisfied with the hotel we stayed at. The rooms are clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The service is attentive and warm, making people feel happy. The surrounding facilities of the hotel are complete and convenient for travel. The room is spacious, bright and well ventilated. The location of the hotel has a good view, the cleaning is meticulous, and the service is considerate. The strategic location makes it the best choice for accommodation in the ancient city.

The photos were taken in the room. The receptionist was very helpful, carrying our luggage upstairs. The room had a river view, and the guesthouse was located at the end of the riverfront, away from the noise of bars and barbecue stalls, making it quite quiet. For dinner, the receptionist recommended a private restaurant downstairs, saying it was run by locals. The ambiance and food were so-so. The owner said the sour soup fish was freshly killed, 78 yuan per jin (500g). For the two of us adults, the owner caught one, which he claimed was the smallest, around 2 jin. I said, ”Let's say 3 jin.” The owner assured me it wasn't that heavy, but as soon as I nodded, he immediately killed the fish with a stick before weighing it, instead of weighing it first and then asking if I wanted it. It turned out to be 3 jin… The two adults spent almost 400 yuan. I suspect the guesthouse was getting a referral fee for recommending customers to the restaurant downstairs. After dinner, we walked along the river towards the bustling area, where there were many nicer restaurants. I deeply regretted trusting the receptionist and eating downstairs instead of exploring further before deciding.
