GGuest UserTraveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

LLiuMingGreat value! The location is ideal. Any closer to the bridge and you don’t get the full view of it. It’s also in the quieter and scenic side of the bridge, which to me is a huge plus. And if you want the nightlife and the music of just walk 5-7 minutes into town.
The room was small, but the amazing balcony made up for it. I must have sat out there for 2 hours just soaking up the view. The staff were nice and responsive. Picked me up from the parking lot and helped my luggage up 5 floors!
Certainly you will find more upscale places, but they will generally be at least 200 RMB or $30 more. I think the price to performance ratio is good for Zhenyuan.

KKenzoMy stay at ”Qingniao Qimeng Riverside Inn” in Zhenyuan truly exceeded my expectations.
The room was brand new, with tasteful color schemes, a clean and bright atmosphere, and very comfortable beds. The decor was simple yet sophisticated, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. The innkeeper was also very friendly and polite.
The best part was that it even had an elevator! This is rare in waterfront buildings in an ancient town, making it incredibly convenient when you have a lot of luggage.
The room also had a huge balcony with amazing views. During the day, you could see the entire Wuyang River, and the night view was absolutely stunning—the stilted houses on the opposite bank lit up, their reflections shimmering on the water, creating a truly atmospheric scene.
In the morning, sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee and listening to the river was so relaxing. Overall, the stay was quiet and comfortable, with the environment, views, and convenience all scoring full marks.
Highly recommended, especially for travelers who want to relax in Zhenyuan and slowly appreciate the river views.

GGuluyaoyouyongService: The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic. Due to the traffic control in the ancient city, we needed to communicate and adjust the route. We arrived smoothly after confirmation by phone. Helped me find the best parking spot. The boss and his family are from Sichuan and they are very nice.
Environment: It is close to the road on one side and Wuyang River on the other, which is convenient for strolling without interfering with shopping along the street.
Hygiene: The minimalist style of decoration from the front desk to the room fits the theme of the homestay, but the interior is simple but not simplistic. The details reveal the owner's wholehearted service to the guests. The quilts are clean and tidy, and the floor, walls and bathrooms have been cleaned or maintained without dead ends. In addition, it is equipped with a complete set of disposable environmentally friendly toiletries and bathing supplies, which I also like 👍.
Facilities: The most frightening thing when traveling in winter is the cold. When we checked in, the temperature outside was only 4 to 8 degrees Celsius at night, which was still quite cold. The Xiaomi inverter air conditioner installed indoors can ensure a warm and comfortable sleep. The smart toilet and bathroom (with plenty of hot water) are of the same standard as star hotels and are very comfortable to use. Even the slippers are better than those in other star hotels. The room is spacious and bright. The store even installed a simple lift to facilitate the loading and unloading of luggage!
In summary: This is a very suitable homestay that can give you a warm feeling (suitable for: couples, parent-child families, etc.), you will never be disappointed if you choose it directly!

GGuest UserI chose Gui Lai Xi based on the ratings, and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's design is innovative, with a white aesthetic that feels particularly warm and stylish. It has a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, especially since you can see Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave from the room windows. Facing the bustling crowds outside, it’s quite a pleasant experience.
The hotel's location is fantastic; it's close to the riverbank, the ancient alleys, and the intangible cultural heritage food street. Zhenyuan's nightlife is beautiful, and it's most enchanting when the lights first come on in the evening. Standing on the hotel's rooftop terrace at that time, you truly see a river of lights and a city full of tenderness.
What's more, the hotel owner is incredibly nice. When we couldn't get a taxi on our departure day, the hotel helped us call one. Because the small town's alleys were under renovation and the taxi was momentarily stuck, the owner personally drove us on an electric scooter to meet the taxi, ensuring we arrived at the bus station smoothly.
In short, Zhenyuan is a place I'd definitely visit again, offering beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful accommodation.

GGuest UserThe owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, personally picking us up at a designated spot and dropping us off at a convenient location for transport when we left. The hotel has a very pleasant environment. It features a balcony overlooking the river, offering beautiful night views. Located within the scenic area, it's very close to all the attractions. I highly recommend staying here. Right opposite the hotel entrance, there's also a breakfast shop offering delicious and affordable options.

JJanet, MalaysiaThis homestay is located right at the opposite of Qinglong Cave. From the balcony, we have a closeup view of the Zhusheng Bridge, day and night. We kept the curtain open the entire time as the view is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you to the homestay owner who is very friendly and easy to talk to. She picked us up with her cute mini 'car' from the main street as we had 2 heavy luggages. We called her using the free Internet call feature from Trip.com as we didn't have a local phone number. Apparently, the main ancient city street is closed off from cars at certain hours of the day. She was also helpful to contact the taxi driver to send us to the train station on our departure day. There is no Didi service in Zhenyuan city so we had to rely on the local taxi.
It's a fuss-free homestay of which we enjoyed very much. Clean, hot shower, comfortable bedding, usual hotel amenities and the absolutely beautiful view from the balcony.

XXiyumenghuiaishenghuoThe location is fantastic, right in the pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants downstairs and shopping nearby. If you're driving, it's a bit less convenient as there's a one-way section, and the parking lot is under the hotel. The hotel service is excellent – warm, attentive, and quick to respond. There's a platform by the river with several tables and chairs, perfect for having tea and enjoying the night view. The room itself wasn't very big, and I felt the cleanliness could have been better. There was a faint smell of urine in the room, and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

From the beginning of the hotel, the boss was very enthusiastic, the check-in speed was very fast, and the intimate introduction made people feel very kind. I also helped to contact the car that went to the river, almost couldn't come back, and the boss actively dealt with it. The boss is great! !
The room was very clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was very relaxing as soon as I lay down, and I slept very well at night. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the toiletries are complete, the hot water supply is sufficient and stable, and the details can see the hotel's intentions.
In addition, the sound insulation of the hotel is good. Although it is on the side of the road, it is not disturbed by the outside noise at all. The overall stay is particularly comfortable.
When I left the store, I also gave a small gift to each person, so hearty! I will definitely choose this one next time I come here, and I will recommend it to my friends the next day.
