Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

Great value! The location is ideal. Any closer to the bridge and you don’t get the full view of it. It’s also in the quieter and scenic side of the bridge, which to me is a huge plus. And if you want the nightlife and the music of just walk 5-7 minutes into town. The room was small, but the amazing balcony made up for it. I must have sat out there for 2 hours just soaking up the view. The staff were nice and responsive. Picked me up from the parking lot and helped my luggage up 5 floors! Certainly you will find more upscale places, but they will generally be at least 200 RMB or $30 more. I think the price to performance ratio is good for Zhenyuan.

Our entire stay was a five-star experience! The guesthouse's decor created a wonderful atmosphere, exuding elegance and charm at every turn. The rooms were spacious, and the hot water supply in the bathroom was consistent, making daily routines very convenient. Having an elevator meant no effort was needed to get around, and the free parking was a huge relief. You can go fishing for fun or relax and catch up on shows in the audio-visual room. The staff were friendly and even patiently shared local travel tips. The value for money far exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time.

This homestay is located right at the opposite of Qinglong Cave. From the balcony, we have a closeup view of the Zhusheng Bridge, day and night. We kept the curtain open the entire time as the view is absolutely beautiful. Thank you to the homestay owner who is very friendly and easy to talk to. She picked us up with her cute mini 'car' from the main street as we had 2 heavy luggages. We called her using the free Internet call feature from Trip.com as we didn't have a local phone number. Apparently, the main ancient city street is closed off from cars at certain hours of the day. She was also helpful to contact the taxi driver to send us to the train station on our departure day. There is no Didi service in Zhenyuan city so we had to rely on the local taxi. It's a fuss-free homestay of which we enjoyed very much. Clean, hot shower, comfortable bedding, usual hotel amenities and the absolutely beautiful view from the balcony.

Helped me find the best parking spot. The boss and his family are from Sichuan and they are very nice. Environment: It is close to the road on one side and Wuyang River on the other, which is convenient for strolling without interfering with shopping along the street. Hygiene: The minimalist style of decoration from the front desk to the room fits the theme of the homestay, but the interior is simple but not simplistic. The details reveal the owner's wholehearted service to the guests. The quilts are clean and tidy, and the floor, walls and bathrooms have been cleaned or maintained without dead ends. In addition, it is equipped with a complete set of disposable environmentally friendly toiletries and bathing supplies, which I also like 👍. Facilities: The most frightening thing when traveling in winter is the cold. When we checked in, the temperature outside was only 4 to 8 degrees Celsius at night, which was still quite cold. The Xiaomi inverter air conditioner installed indoors can ensure a warm and comfortable sleep. The smart toilet and bathroom (with plenty of hot water) are of the same standard as star hotels and are very comfortable to use. Even the slippers are better than those in other star hotels. The room is spacious and bright. The store even installed a simple lift to facilitate the loading and unloading of luggage! In summary: This is a very suitable homestay that can give you a warm feeling (suitable for: couples, parent-child families, etc.), you will never be disappointed if you choose it directly!

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is really a peaceful and beautiful place. The picture was taken in my room. I can see the Consecration Bridge directly from the balcony, which is quiet in the bustle. The location is perfect and it's very quiet to sleep. I must say that the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable! We booked two rooms and slept extremely well! The bath water is very large. Although the room is a bit small, it is very clean. The bathroom is quite old. It is recommended to renovate the bathroom. Fortunately, the wet and dry parts are still separated. The linen is also old and it is recommended to replace it. I would like to give special praise to the handsome boss. He called us in advance to ask if we were driving, helped arrange a parking space, and took us from the B&B to the parking place in the rain. Thank you very much!
