With a stay at Q3 INN, you'll be all set to unwind after a day of travel.
"We used the Grap app for taxis in Semporna because Q3 INN HOTEL wasn't listed on the Grap map yet since it only opened last October. So, you could choose Grace Hotel or BaWang ChaJi, as they're only about 20 meters away – very close.
The hotel offers free instant noodles, snacks, and drinks. There's a coffee machine providing free coffee and hot water. We're health-conscious, so we brought our own water bottles to use the hot water provided.
The hotel is very close to the Longmen Guesthouse pier, a 7-8 minute walk. You can see the pier from your room balcony.
The hotel facilities are all new, but there's no renovation smell, which is great. The owner is very dedicated to running the business. Thumbs up! 👍 Staying here...
There's a seafood restaurant downstairs. My friend and I ate there for several nights in a row. Yes, it's seafood! Next door is a place selling black thorn durian, which is also incredibly delicious and authentic.
On the day we left, I left my water bottle at the hotel, and the owner happened to be flying back to Guangzhou that evening at 7:00 PM. They even delivered my water bottle to the airport! I was so touched. Even after I went through security and was at the check-in counter, the owner contacted security staff to open the glass door and hand me my little blue collapsible water bottle. Super NICE ❤️
My friend and I stayed for three nights. On our last night, we went to the bar downstairs at the hotel 🍷 and listened to locals sing Mandarin songs.
It was quite nice.
The only downsides might be that the toothbrushes were a bit soft, the air conditioner would be better with a wind shield, and the rooms near the road could have better soundproofing. Also, having more clothes hangers would be very convenient, as we went out to sea every day and needed to dry clothes. Laundry detergent was also a concern; I brought a small bottle, but it ran out, and they only had laundry powder.
In short: My friend said this place is the best value for money. We originally planned to stay in a water villa on Mataking Island, but we ended up staying at this hotel by chance. It was great. Highly recommended 😎 👍👍"

PpharmacistoffdutyHotel location is good, right in front of the public jetty. Nearby have many seafood restaurants, pharmacy and supermarket, mamak stalls. Very convenient, all walking distance, don't really need a car to move around.
Standard Room is ok, size -wise. However, the room is abit dirty as the floor is very sticky. Toilet is basic, quite run-down. You need to climb one flight of stairs, so make sure you nothing too heavy.
Sometimes you'll have the smell / smoke from the seafood restaurant downstairs in the hallway.
Very thin walls, can easily hear other guests' noise.

GGuest UserWe had an incredible stay! The hotel is brand new and exceptionally clean. The location is perfect—very close to the seafood market and just a 5-10 minute walk to many local restaurants.
I arrived with my parents without any prior planning, but the front desk lady was a lifesaver. She immediately helped us arrange a snorkeling package and even personally dropped us off at the pier the next morning. Thanks to her, my parents and I had a seamless and fun day out at sea.
They also offer a very affordable airport transfer service. I give the front desk service 100/100! Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

GGuest UserSuper cool concept! The space pods are really cool and spacious. The TV in the pod doesn't have access to Netflix or your phone so we couldn't watch anything on it. About a 15 minute walk to the seafront.
Only squat toilets on the floor of our room and some of them spray your feet from the back of it with water.

TTrippingtheuniverseSemporna is an interesting place to visit, with several islands surrounded by coral reefs for snorkeling and diving, more beautiful than many other snorkeling spots worldwide. Staying at this hostel instead of moving to an island resort is a good way to budget. And not only that, the fish market in Semporna is the most incredible one I have seen, seafood like lobsters, large shrimps, crabs so fresh, not even the one at Kota Kinabalu can be compared good as it was too. The DZ hostel lady staff was very helpful and can arrange for island trips at a reasonable price. The dorms are separated into boys and girls, something I truly appreciate. The bathrooms faced the afternoon sun, so they were dried easily and kept clean. Laundry by machine was offered free, a super plus for swimmers. The hostel also offered local Malay snack food for breakfast, and coffee or tea were always available. To be honest, it's a good budget place to stay while splurging on the island tours. It's a bit sad that no cooking is allowed here, even though there was a kitchen. Sad because the seafood mentioned above was so available. The facade of the building is nothing to boast about, and like many places, the external (streets, pavement, eyc) can be a mess. That should not deter visiting this part of the world mainly because the sea in this area is astoundingly replenished with marine life.

IiwasakimolajiA great transit hotel. But if you need to stay longer won't be a problem. Located at the center of Semporna commercial area. Lots of shops and restaurant nearby. The jetty is also very near to this hotel. You won't have problems walking around the area. Choose the room with the view and you will never regret it.

GGuest UserWe were island hopping in Semporna, and knowing the living conditions here were average, we chose the Mushroom House, which was considered a tourist attraction in Semporna. Sister Ping treated everyone who stayed there like a friend, even upgrading our room, sending a driver to pick us up in town, and even taking us back to our accommodation after the island hopping trip. I knew she had to take a taxi to pick us up, but I felt embarrassed, after all, the room rate was there. The overall experience was really good, and the people were warm and kind.

GGuest UserI stayed at Sipadan Inn in a room with a queen-size bed, which was sufficient for two people to stay comfortably. The room space was quite limited, but it was still cozy and suitable for a short stay. The bathroom functioned well, and overall room service was acceptable. I would rate the facilities around 8/10, mainly because the staff were not very friendly, though still okay and professional.
This hotel is suitable for travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay, especially for 3–4 days, as the price matches what is offered. There are plenty of food options around the area, and you can easily find souvenirs either below the hotel or nearby. Watsons is conveniently located right next to the hotel, which is very helpful. However, do be cautious around the sidewalks, as there are sometimes children asking for money.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

你你过来The place is near to the fish market and nearby eateries. Hence, you may need earplugs for a better sleep as the sound proofing is barely noticeable, especially if you stay at the one with balcony.
The rooms are spacious for 2. They do not provide daily cleaning services unless requested as per posts from other guests.
It would be more enjoyable if the cleanliness can be enhanced, especially behind the cabinets which could be moved, there are many small dead insects body which gives the room a hint of the insect smell.
Attention to cleanliness for scrubbing of sink and floor to mop will be much appreciated.
The mirrors should also be checked to avoid safety hazard as the corner one that I stayed is already loose from the edges.
Looking forward for a more improved and enhanced version of the place as it deserves to be.

NNadezhda BThe hotel is new, with a small number of rooms. There's a cooler with cold water on each floor. The location is within walking distance of the pier. The rooms themselves are comfortable. But! There was a mouse running around in my room; I nearly lost my mind when I saw one running across the table. When I mentioned it to reception, their reaction was strange. As if that was normal, and what was wrong with that? When the manager came up to the floor, the mouse was just running around, so he locked it in the utility room and propped our room up with blankets. But that didn't help either. They eventually moved us to another floor where renovations were underway. We had to live with the smell of paint, dust, and the sound of a drill.
