GGuest UserI highly recommend this place! It was the most satisfying and best-seller I stayed at on this trip. I stayed on the third floor, and the balcony had a fantastic sea view. The room was spotless, and it's located right in town, just a short walk from the meeting point. It's a newly opened hotel, and the overall experience was excellent. The housekeepers, Xiao Dai and Xiao Enren, were incredibly welcoming and spoke fluent Chinese, making communication very smooth. The room was in a great location and extremely quiet, with absolutely no noise. It looked even better in person than in the photos. Drying clothes was also incredibly convenient; the sun is strong here, and clothes washed at midday were dry in just one hour. It was a very worry-free and comfortable stay—a truly worthwhile experience!

GGuest UserI forgot to take pictures of the hotel interior; it has both pros and cons.
1. My AirAsia flight was delayed, and I arrived at the hotel at 8:30 PM. The good thing was that the receptionist spoke fluent Chinese, and there was no deposit required. The hotel only has two floors and no elevator, but staff were always there to help with luggage, whether you were going up or down!
2. The family room I booked was very spacious, with a small balcony and plenty of clothes racks, making it very convenient to dry clothes. There were also two soft beanbag chairs, a large table with plenty of space, air conditioning, a safe, and all the necessary disposable amenities. The slippers weren't disposable, so I didn't use them.
3. They changed the disposable amenities daily. If you need housekeeping for a consecutive stay, you can turn on the light outside your door; otherwise, just turn on the ”Do Not Disturb” button, and they will bring the new amenities to your door. They are very meticulous in their cleaning! We always left our suitcases open when we went out, and put valuables in the safe. They put a security camera at the door before cleaning, then removed it afterward, which made us feel quite safe…
4. I was worried about noise at night, but there's a restaurant downstairs where many locals gather in the evenings, but it wasn't as noisy as I expected. Once the balcony door is closed, there's almost no problem. Regarding the issue of noisy car chases at night, I think there are some. If you stay in town, it's hard to avoid, but we stayed for three days, and only one day did we experience this problem, around 10 PM, with a few intermittent bursts of speed. Actually, after a day of sightseeing, we fell asleep almost immediately.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities were excellent, the air conditioning worked very well, the showers were spotless, and there was even free breakfast and a washing machine. Moreover, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they even mailed my hat back after I left it at the hotel – I'm so incredibly grateful! I'll definitely stay at their hotel again next time I'm in Semporna!

KKistinaDon't go if you don't have to. First of all, you may not find anyone late and leave early, and the staff is sometimes not there. Secondly, one morning, the faucet in the washbasin was out of water, but fortunately there was in the bathroom. Again, there was a problem with the door of the room. I didn't find a problem two days before I lived. I thought it was locked. Later, I found that the height could be opened... You will know it by looking at the photo.
All of these are very delayed. However, Semporna Town itself is like this, and other homes are probably not much better.

GGuest UserWe were island hopping in Semporna, and knowing the living conditions here were average, we chose the Mushroom House, which was considered a tourist attraction in Semporna. Sister Ping treated everyone who stayed there like a friend, even upgrading our room, sending a driver to pick us up in town, and even taking us back to our accommodation after the island hopping trip. I knew she had to take a taxi to pick us up, but I felt embarrassed, after all, the room rate was there. The overall experience was really good, and the people were warm and kind.

GGuest UserI read a lot of Semporna travel guides that said the hotels in town are pretty much like guesthouses in China, but our actual experience was much better than expected. The hotel is very close to the pier and there are plenty of food options nearby. Although the facilities aren't brand new, it's very clean. We booked a quad room that had two bathrooms, which was great after island hopping – no need to queue for the shower! The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful during check-in. We were even able to store our luggage there when we came back to town to buy souvenirs after staying at a water villa.

你你过来The place is near to the fish market and nearby eateries. Hence, you may need earplugs for a better sleep as the sound proofing is barely noticeable, especially if you stay at the one with balcony.
The rooms are spacious for 2. They do not provide daily cleaning services unless requested as per posts from other guests.
It would be more enjoyable if the cleanliness can be enhanced, especially behind the cabinets which could be moved, there are many small dead insects body which gives the room a hint of the insect smell.
Attention to cleanliness for scrubbing of sink and floor to mop will be much appreciated.
The mirrors should also be checked to avoid safety hazard as the corner one that I stayed is already loose from the edges.
Looking forward for a more improved and enhanced version of the place as it deserves to be.

KKaimendaji749Great location! It's right behind a gas station, and the entrance faces away from it, so my friend and I circled around a few times before realizing it was right behind us. The room was huge, honestly the best hotel we stayed at in Semporna, and also the cheapest. The only downside is that it only has stairs. The front desk is staffed 24/7. We had an early flight and needed to leave for the airport around 4:30 AM, but the front desk staff was there to process our deposit refund when we woke them up. It's located near this church.
