MMaistrangeVery, very close to the station literally right across the exit, the room size is actually not bad. I was given a room on the first floor, and I was concerning about whether if it’s gonna be allowed and no noisy… now I have been woke up in the middle of the night from jet lag, I would say the room is pretty quiet.
Might come back again if I need another transitional or layover overnight.

We felt the room did not match the photos on trip.com. A room with carpet and what looked like a terrace is in the pictures. We got a really old dated room without carpet and no balcony terrace.
The description of the hotel states amenities like dental kit, conditioner and there wasn’t anything. There wasn’t even any bottles of water in our room. The sliding door for the shower was broken.
The breakfast was really small and limited and of a very basic quality.
It was my girlfriend’s birthday and there was no mention or wish of a happy birthday.
This is only the second negative review I’ve left on trip.com out of 30+ hotel bookings in the last 1.5 years

GGuest UserHotel was immaculately clean and smelt lovely, room was perfect, location was great, right in the heart of Geneva with easy access to train stations/bus stations and activity pick up points, nice chocolate shop underneath the hotel, with a McDonald’s and a wine and cheese restaurant.
Although the breakfast buffet was all cold food baring boiled eggs, however choice was great, staff very attentive.
Overall would recommend this hotel to anyone, cheap enough for Geneva and couldn’t fault it personally.

AAnonymous UserGiven the high cost of living in Switzerland's second-largest city, the hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room amenities were quite complete, with slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes all provided. It was very convenient, very clean, and the room was quite large. The breakfast was the best I've had in Switzerland and Paris, with a particularly rich and delicious selection of fruit.

The service attitude is exceptionally good, and having a small kitchen allows me to cook my own meals. It meets all my business travel needs. KKamalathaI went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.
