4-Star Hotels in Geneva

This is a business hotel with clean, tidy, and adequately sized rooms. However, if you're traveling with children and have more than two suitcases, I'd recommend booking at least a 'boutique room' as standard rooms might not have enough space for your luggage. The hotel staff are highly professional; I even encountered an employee (not ethnically Chinese) who spoke fluent Mandarin. Although they weren't speaking to me directly, it felt very welcoming. Indeed, there were quite a few Chinese guests coming and going. The hotel's lobby bar is excellent, offering a wide selection of drinks from 11 AM until late evening. The staff there are very enthusiastic. Crucially, the hotel is incredibly close to the airport. One of the photos I uploaded shows a building at the end of the road, which is part of the airport complex. To its left is P51, the car rental parking lot at Geneva Airport, and T1 terminal is just a short walk to its right. It's only a 7-minute walk from P51 back to the hotel, and 12 minutes from the terminal. This makes it particularly convenient for travelers who rent and return their cars at Geneva Airport. Of course, the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. It runs every 20 minutes, takes about 5 minutes, and I believe it starts as early as 4 AM. Turn right just 30 meters from the hotel entrance, and you'll find a bus stop for the No. 10 bus, which goes directly to Lake Geneva (a 5-minute walk from the stop) and Geneva Old Town. Upon check-in, the front desk provides an A4 printout with a free electronic public transport pass. Simply scan the QR code to download the 'hello Geneva' app, enter the 8-digit coupon ID, and you can generate an electronic travel card. You can use it for free for as many days as you're staying at the hotel. Breakfast is served on the basement level, with both indoor and outdoor seating (smoking allowed outdoors). The food selection is decent, including coffee, milk, juices, sausages, eggs (uncommonly, besides the usual cheesy scrambled eggs, they also offered fried egg rolls), salmon, and a good variety of cold cuts like ham and salami. Fruits, toast, bread, and mini croissants are also available. The hotel's charging sockets require an adapter. They support UK-style plugs, but for European round plugs, the recessed holes are quite deep. If you bring an adapter from home, make sure it's a long-tipped one like mine. Some round-headed adapters can only fit into the central socket.

I had an excellent stay at Adina Apartment Hotel Geneva. The apartment was spacious, modern, and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchenette that made my stay even more convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always happy to help with any requests. The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to the airport, public transport, and the city center. The facilities were well maintained, and everything was thoughtfully designed. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would gladly choose this hotel again when visiting Geneva.

I had a great weekend in Geneva, and my stay at Appart-City Genève-Vernier-Aéroport went very well. The studio we had was perfect: cozy, well-arranged, and comfortable. The location is ideal, with shops nearby and very convenient public transportation to get around the city easily. The booking process was hassle-free, everything was very straightforward. The only minor drawback was the room window: it doesn't open very easily, which makes ventilation a bit difficult and causes some odors to linger longer in the room. Other than that, everything was impeccable, and I genuinely loved my stay. I highly recommend this establishment!

Pros: 1. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and are tidied daily with a complimentary bottle of water provided. 2. My three-night stay was very comfortable; I was barely disturbed by any noise from other rooms. Cons: 1. I booked this hotel because I had to wake up early for the train station for two days, and it's close by. However, I didn't expect the surrounding area to be so chaotic, making early morning trips to the station feel a bit unsafe. It would have been better to stay in the city center and not take the early train. 2. The front desk staff seemed a bit discriminatory. The male staff member who checked me in didn't have me sign anything (whereas other guests were using an iPad to register). I was given a room behind a security door, around a corner, facing a row of machines. Later, I spoke to a female staff member, and after a long discussion, she agreed to move me for the rest of my stay. However, it wasn't the room type I booked and it didn't have a bathtub, which I also reported to the platform. At first, I didn't think much of not having a bathtub, but the shower had no door, so water flooded the bathroom, and there was no drain. It could only air dry, which made me realize why they were so willing to move me. There was a subtle reluctance to accommodate guests, which was quite frustrating.

The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's just a 15-minute drive from the airport, directly across from a Coop supermarket, and right next to a light rail station, making getting around incredibly convenient. They even thoughtfully provide a Swiss transport card, which saves a lot on sightseeing around the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and despite facing the main street, the window insulation was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. The downsides are that the elevator is a bit narrow, so with large luggage, you can probably only fit two people. Also, to get to the elevators on the first floor from the check-in lobby on the ground floor, you have to go up a few stairs, meaning you have to carry your luggage yourself, which is a peculiar design. Furthermore, with many guests, rooms aren't available until 3 PM, so if you arrive early, you'll have to wait in the lobby. Breakfast is classic European style; there aren't many hot dishes, but the cold cuts selection is abundant, including smoked salmon and air-dried beef. They even offer strawberries and kiwi for fruit, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's a good place.

He said that it was just a normal hotel. The best thing about it is the location since his conference venue was nearby.

The hotel is located a bit far from Geneva City Center, but closer to the Airport The hotel environment is very clean and nice, the room probably one of the biggest one I have ever lived across the Europe. Unfortunately if you travel without a vehicle, this hotel will not highly recommend since the location will cause many inconvenience. Since I got many drive from my friends so this hotel is perfect for me Great value, great environment and great choice

I was given an accessible room, which was very spacious and clean. The mini-fridge had one sparkling and one still bottle of mineral water. There's also a sauna among the public facilities. On one side of the hotel, there are a few well-rated restaurants, and a commercial complex is not far away. Several well-known supermarkets are within one kilometer of the hotel, which is very convenient. The shuttle service between the hotel and the airport is also very handy.

I spent two days at this hotel. I liked the location near the lake,the interesting design,and the delicious,varied breakfasts. The only thing that slightly detracted from my experience was the check in process: no one helped me with my luggage,and I am young petite woman. I had to carry my luggage to my room myself,and this was the first time I encountered such a situation in 27 countries. Overall ,everything was excellent,but I would have preferred a more attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

As a business hotel with the bare minimum, bed and shower, and convenience of being close to the airport, it's ok. The breakfast buffet at CHF32 was very good. Geneva is an expensive city per se. This week, I think there were fairs/events in the city crowding the hotels and bringing the prices up. Things to complain about: the shower doesn't have a door, so the bathroom gets all wet. There are no amenities like courtesy slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste (Yeah, save the planet...) And the shower mixer gives you 3 choices: cold, hot, and cold-hot-cold-hot... So, showering is a challenge. Think of these ”chain/brand” hotels as that is what you get to make their EPS go up and please their shareholders. There is nothing to do with hospitality.
