Guest UserThis stay far exceeded my expectations! The overall environment was clean and quiet, with excellent natural light and views, and the room was spotless. All necessary amenities were provided, so there was no need to buy anything extra. The smart home design was a pleasant surprise; I could control all the devices with just my voice, which was incredibly high-tech and made my stay relaxing and comfortable. The owner was exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive, always available whenever I needed help – truly thoughtful and reliable.

Guest UserOut of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars!
The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room.
I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories.
When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching.
The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable.
I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. I hope everyone gets to experience the genuine warmth and hospitality during their travels here.
Their raisins are also highly recommended!

Guest UserA cozy B&B by Mingsha Mountain with an amazing lamb noodle soup for breakfast!
I booked this ”No. 23 Courtyard” through Trip.com in Dunhuang, and it exceeded my expectations. Definitely deserves a great review.
📍Location: It's very close to Mingsha Mountain Scenic Area, only a 7-yuan taxi ride away. Super convenient for catching both sunset and sunrise, saving a lot of travel time.
🏡Environment: There's a charming little courtyard. I had breakfast sitting under a tree one morning, and the owner and his daughter (just home for vacation) even picked some local specialty Li Guang apricots for us to try, sharing an interesting legend. Although I heard a few dog barks at night (their dog Chopper was on duty!), the owner explained it was foxes visiting, which actually added a touch of wilderness charm.
🛏️Accommodation: The room was clean and tidy, and very quiet at night. A pleasant surprise was the fully automatic, heated smart toilet. The towels were also thick, new plush ones, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay.
🍜Breakfast: It's a set menu, and I have to rave about the lamb noodle soup – fresh, delicious, and warming. The five-spice tea eggs were also very flavorful. The owner eats the same food as the guests, which shows the quality of the ingredients.
🍵Afternoon Tea: They surprisingly offer it for free, which is rare for a B&B. Big plus!
Overall, it's a comfortable, clean B&B with a family-like atmosphere and great value for money. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Dunhuang.

Let me say that the most satisfying thing about this trip on the Qinggan Line is this hotel. The personal feeling is more comfortable than the five-star Qinghai Lake Guanhu Hotel! ! There is a balcony for washing clothes, the room is huge, not depressed and super comfortable, I don’t get up until 10 o’clock every day, the two babies are very happy to play, and the drinks are free to drink every day. Finally, I have to focus on praise! ! The boss is so super good. The baby's feet were crooked on the first day. The boss went to help the baby buy medicine. The boss's mother also helped the baby deal with the feet. The next day, it was a lot better. It was a really super kind family. You must live in Dunhuang! ! ! If you have a baby, you can cook wontons for the baby when you get up late, 200 likes! ! ! Highly recommended.

Anonymous UserChecked in on New Year's Eve. Two wind towels were given as a gift when I checked in. I took a photo of it specially because it was my favorite color, hehe.
Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell.
Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away.
Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good.
Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm.
To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request.
It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!

We arrived by train after a long journey and were warmly welcomed with a transfer service to the hotel, which we found to be both professional and efficient - booking it just one day in advance was all it took. Check-in was quick, and to our pleasant surprise, we were given a room upgrade.
The room was clean and fully equipped, including a selection of drinks and personal care items available for purchase. Although we didn’t use any of them, we appreciated the added convenience of this thoughtful service.
We were also assisted throughout our stay via chat by a kind and helpful assistant who responded promptly to all our inquiries, in addition to the excellent service we received at the front desk and the thoughtful gestures extended to us.
We made good use of the amenities included in our reservation, such as desert shoes and face-covering buffs, as well as the transfer to the hotel. We’re also bringing home two beautiful souvenir camels that will now travel the world with us!
Thank you once again - we would be delighted to stay here again if we ever return to Dunhuang.

The parking lot is extremely difficult to use! For a novice driver on the Qinghai-Gansu Ring Road self-driving tour, parking is still a bit of a challenge, but it was easy to park at the scenic spots and hotel parking lots along the way. Dunhuang is a place where every inch of land is valuable. It is so difficult to park a car! I deliberately picked a hotel with its own parking facilities, but it was so different from what I expected! You have to make a hard turn in the alley to get into the underground garage, and the above-ground part is also extremely narrow with curbs in front and behind! Wonder who designed the garage entrance!
The next day, I changed hotels in Dunhuang (Wanhong), which also said it had a parking lot. He told me it was thirty meters away and asked me to open the door for me. However, I didn't see him and went up the wrong slope. I finally managed to escape. I called the hotel, but I didn't remember the names of either hotel, so I called Yunbo Hotel. After a long conversation, the other party realized that they might have dialed the wrong hotel number. At this point, I was so furious! Why is parking so difficult in hotels in Dunhuang? It took a lot of effort to finally enter the underground parking lot of the hotel the next day, but I had great doubts about entering and exiting in the future. It felt too difficult!

AbaabaabaThis is the only guesthouse on our Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop trip that I actually wanted to write a review for! 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻 We heard about it from fellow travelers, and it had only been open a few days when we arrived, so we were pleasantly surprised. The owner is incredibly kind and enthusiastic (super friendly!!!). We arrived late at night, and they were worried we hadn't eaten, so they specially made us some saozi noodles and brought fruit 🍝. I used my Ctrip points to get a free room upgrade, and the upgraded room came with a bathtub (in a twin room), which was incredibly relaxing after a long day of travel. The environment is clean and peaceful, the facilities are complete, and the overall stay was perfect. As a 'pet-friendly' guesthouse, their little 'housekeeper' Panpan (a pet) is also adorable, quiet, and very friendly.
Here’s a little more about the staff: 👉🏻
The landlady: Enthusiastic and loves to chat, she was essentially our main point of contact during our stay 👍.
The landlord: A classic, quiet Northwestern man, but he silently fulfills our requests (like boiling water for tea, etc.).
The young boss: A very shy young man.
