Guest UserOut of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars!
The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room.
I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories.
When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching.
The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable.
I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. I hope everyone gets to experience the genuine warmth and hospitality during their travels here.
Their raisins are also highly recommended!

Guest UserThe hotel is located right behind Mingsha Mountain, about an 18-minute walk or a 4-minute taxi ride away. This meant my child could go to Mingsha Mountain to climb the dunes almost every evening. The hotel rooms are very spacious; even with two king-size beds (1.8m), it didn't feel cramped at all. In fact, all the rooms here are huge. The cleanliness was excellent; the bathroom floor had no dust whatsoever. There's underfloor heating, so you can comfortably wear a T-shirt in the room at night, which felt much better than air conditioning. I also highly recommend the owner; they were incredibly kind. They proactively helped us arrange taxis, asked if we were hungry, and even made us dumplings. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThe room was clean and bright, and the service was absolutely outstanding, far exceeding what one would expect for this price point. A big shout-out to all the staff!
The hotel's location is also excellent, right next to a pedestrian street and very close to the Shazhou Night Market. It offers great value for money. It's a shame I don't usually take photos of hotel rooms, so I've just included a few random pictures.

Guest UserI had a very nice stay here. The hotel is new, so it was clean and had all the outlets I needed. The front desk staff were all friendly and welcoming, especially Miss Wang. She helped me throughout my stay with recommendations, answered all of my questions, and always made sure I left with a bottle of water, Dunhuang in July is no joke.
The location is excellent: about a 5-minute walk to the night market, a 10-15 minute taxi ride to Crescent Lake, and around 15 minutes by taxi to the train station. There are also several small local restaurants across the street.
My only minor complaint is that I wish the elevator were more centrally located, as it can be a bit of a walk depending on where your room is. Other than that, everything was great!

Guest UserVery clean and quiet. The attention to detail was exceptional – there was tea in the lobby, a fridge, a humidifier, a laundry room, and delicious breakfast. Staff members 2 and 7 were particularly gentle and soft-spoken. They even arranged pick-up service in advance. For kids, there were building blocks and snacks. The room had great soundproofing, a drying rack, shower slippers, and a very good hairdryer. So, even if the room didn't look huge and the decor was a bit traditional, it didn't stop me from giving this hotel a perfect score! I'm extremely satisfied, and if I ever get the chance to visit Dunhuang again, I'll definitely stay here!

Also, the hotel provided everything necessary
Especially the hotel staff are very friendly and responsible for guests.
We stayed there for 3 nights 4 days and the staff always helped us for traveling.
They called a taxi for us to travel to tourist spots
Even if they don't speak English , we communicate by translation application on the phone.
They also bring us to pharmacy and supermarket.
How they are wonderful and thankful.
If we go there again, we will definitely stay there again.
I traveled all over the world for 20 years, but I never met like the hotel and staff.
Totally never forgetable hotel and staff.

The parking lot is extremely difficult to use! For a novice driver on the Qinghai-Gansu Ring Road self-driving tour, parking is still a bit of a challenge, but it was easy to park at the scenic spots and hotel parking lots along the way. Dunhuang is a place where every inch of land is valuable. It is so difficult to park a car! I deliberately picked a hotel with its own parking facilities, but it was so different from what I expected! You have to make a hard turn in the alley to get into the underground garage, and the above-ground part is also extremely narrow with curbs in front and behind! Wonder who designed the garage entrance!
The next day, I changed hotels in Dunhuang (Wanhong), which also said it had a parking lot. He told me it was thirty meters away and asked me to open the door for me. However, I didn't see him and went up the wrong slope. I finally managed to escape. I called the hotel, but I didn't remember the names of either hotel, so I called Yunbo Hotel. After a long conversation, the other party realized that they might have dialed the wrong hotel number. At this point, I was so furious! Why is parking so difficult in hotels in Dunhuang? It took a lot of effort to finally enter the underground parking lot of the hotel the next day, but I had great doubts about entering and exiting in the future. It felt too difficult!
