Out of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars! The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room. I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories. When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable. I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. Very satisfied! The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. It's right next to the desert, which is cool. Xiao Yi's service was excellent, she was always ready to help with anything. I'm really happy with this trip and will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Shazhou Night Market. The room decor is also very nice. I forgot to take pictures of breakfast, but they had a great selection of cold dishes, hot dishes, fruits, and drinks. There's parking available right in front of the hotel and also an underground garage. In the evening, after visiting Crescent Spring, we took the free shuttle bus that drops you near the hotel, and it was only a 7-8 minute walk back to rest. So convenient! Plus, the room even has a bathtub, perfect for the kids to soak in after a tiring day. From its location to its service, this hotel is simply perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dunhuang!!

On a self-driving tour, I decided to stay here last minute and was pleasantly surprised! As soon as I turned into the parking lot, a staff member came over to guide me. They helped with my luggage every step of the way, and everyone I encountered greeted me proactively. The front desk gave me a sand protection neck gaiter and a voucher for congee in the evening. In the room, there were welcome snacks, yogurt, and plenty of water. They also provided free chargers and a humidifier. There's even a foot bath at the self-service laundry room, with disposable bath bags for hygiene. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, definitely 4-star+! So many varieties, better than many 4.7+ hotels in the city. They also offer shuttle service. I'll definitely be back!

To my surprise, getting a taxi on the first night was super easy, so we extended our stay. While there aren't other guesthouses right around ours, we noticed a whole street full of guesthouses nearby, which seemed crowded and noisy. At night, lying in bed, you can hear the wind brushing against the walls, but it's not loud; it actually feels like being in harmony with nature. I loved the Courtyard B&B. The rural but very chic style. My room was generous, furnishing in the same traditional style. Clean throughout The reception area very attractive and provides nice secluded spaces for relaxing- working in my case) under Bamboo trees and mandala decorated glasses of the ceiling. Very peaceful. I very much appreciated the presence of a kittens with mum and a little doggie which I perceived like mascotte of the place. They were very well maintained and cared of. The stuff is very nice and helpful and we were able to understand each others in some way. I highly recommend this accomodation both for holiday and work.

We said we were going to Crescent Lake and Mingsha Mountain. The boss took the initiative to drive us to the Middle Gate, saying that we could save 20 yuan on the shuttle bus fare. The next day, we signed up for a tour group to go out and play. The boss also sent us to the boarding point early in the morning.
