GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, just a 10-minute drive from the Mogao Grottoes and Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring. It's a peaceful spot, yet conveniently close to attractions, and you get stunning sand dune views right from your window. Getting to the city center and Shazhou Night Market also takes only 10 minutes, making getting around incredibly easy.
The room was immaculately clean; every corner was spotless, and the entire space was dust-free. The bedding was soft and dry, and the bathroom was odor-free with a great wet/dry separation. Even if you're a clean freak, you'll feel completely at ease here; the attention to detail in cleanliness is exceptional, ensuring a super comfortable stay.
This guesthouse is brand new and well-equipped with high-quality facilities, including air conditioning, a smart toilet, and premium bedding. The room is spacious and bright, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window offering amazing views. It also comes with complimentary toiletries and a refrigerator. The service is very thoughtful, making for an incredibly comfortable experience.
I've already recommended it to my best friend, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserGreat atmosphere. The tent/bedding was much cleaner than expected despite being in the middle of desert . The heater works well. The owner took his time to take great care of us (noted that we didn’t go during high-season); very service-minded. He took us to/from airports and different tourist spots. Also provided us with many additional activities (not excluded in the initial program of camel riding) such as ATV riding, sand hill sliding, firework. The hotpot/grill dinner was delicious! Overall we were very impressed with everything.

We were thoughtfully upgraded to a better room because we were traveling with children, and the attention to detail was heartwarming. Breakfast was especially considerate of our little one, and the cleanliness was impeccable; the housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive. Every staff member we encountered was warm and attentive, making for a flawless experience. The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Dunhuang Night Market and major attractions, making travel incredibly convenient. We were so satisfied that we extended our stay multiple times… If we ever visit Dunhuang again, this will definitely be our top choice!

GGuest UserThis hotel is truly unique, brimming with artistic flair, and offers daily activities perfect for those who enjoy cultural travel and want to explore Dunhuang culture and contemporary art inspired by it. The service here is absolutely exceptional. It happened to be my birthday during my stay, and the hotel surprised me with a complimentary customized cake featuring a distinctive Dunhuang pattern. We couldn't make it to the hotel's clay painting event due to our schedule, so they thoughtfully provided DIY gift bags for each of us. Every evening, there's a 'nightfall ceremony' that, combined with the hotel's landscape design, creates an incredibly atmospheric experience. All in all, it was a truly unforgettable stay!

Despite being in a lively area, it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The overall design has a high-end, designer feel, incorporating elements of Dunhuang culture. The room was clean and elegant, fully equipped with smart controls, Byredo toiletries, and a Serta mattress – every detail was meticulously thought out. The front desk service was attentive, and they proactively offered travel tips. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of Mingsha Mountain and the sunset, perfect for incredible photos. Absolutely great value for money!

GGuest UserThe room was great, clean and tidy, with a window, smart assistant (XiaoDu), and a mini-fridge. The location is also excellent, right across from the City Hall. To the left, it's close to the Dunhuang Planning Bureau, and to the right, just across the street, is the Dunhuang Bookstore, both of which are popular spots. It's also very close to Shazhou Night Market, easily walkable, and the night views are lovely. It's also near Dunhuang Wujie and Dunhuang Yinju, and the Dunhuang Museum is nearby too.

GGuest UserWhen traveling to Dunhuang, I wanted to book a quiet hotel and chose this hotel. The result was unexpectedly good. Not only was it quiet, but the environment was also very good and very cultural. The preface to the Lanting Collection was carved on the wall of the lobby. I heard it was written by the boss. . The service was also very friendly. Check-in was quick, they answered all our questions and sent us to the room. The room is also very warm, the facilities are new and complete, and there is a humidifier. It is really good to have a humidifier in Northwest China. The bathtub also comes with a disposable bathtub cover, so you can take a bath with confidence. I came back very late from my trip to the Western Front. I asked for two extra pairs of slippers, which were delivered quickly. Good hotel, good service!

Its location on Mingshan Road is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk to Shazhou Night Market, making it incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and exploring. Opened in 2024, the decor is simple yet grand, with a touch of the Silk Road, and the public areas are great for photos. The room was clean and bright, the bedding soft, and the humidifier was a thoughtful touch, making even the dry Northwest weather comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and professional, and they offer free shuttle service, parking, laundry room, and a gym. Overall, a perfect experience – I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Dunhuang!

The outdoor common areas are also tastefully designed, with a serene blue pool, beautiful light and shadow play in the courtyard, and starlit views from the terrace – every corner is picturesque. During my stay, the guesthouse owner was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and hospitable to guests from all walks of life. From lively late-night conversations and laughter to exchanging views on various topics, it's clear the owner is a profound thinker and incredibly thoughtful and responsible in running their guesthouse.
