This Airbnb was booked on a really tight deadline (decided Friday night, departure early Saturday morning), but the experience was surprisingly good! It was incredibly thoughtful and the room was clean and tidy, the service was excellent, and the environment was comfortable. The Airbnb is located within the scenic area. A private car picked us up after we arrived at noon. Because our arrival time was a bit inconvenient (1 pm), they even took us to lunch first, and then drove us back to the Airbnb. After dropping off our luggage, we set off on our hike. They even took us to the roadside to wait for the scenic area's shuttle bus. In the evening, we ordered food directly from our phones after descending the mountain, went back to our room to rest, and were called down to the restaurant when dinner was ready. It was fantastic! 👍🏻 The next day, we slept in, had breakfast, and then continued to relax. After checking out at noon, they even took us to a dessert shop (which we found ourselves). Our high-speed train was at 6 pm, and after we finished exploring, they even offered a transfer service to the station! It was amazing and so comfortable. It's especially convenient with kids. Highly recommended! ⭐️

I visited Hengshan Mountain alone and stayed at a family-run guesthouse. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Most importantly, it was right next to the Nanyue Grand Temple, and a five-minute walk from Nanjie Alley, a commercial street with plenty of restaurants and shops – a very convenient location. But the most important thing was that every staff member was incredibly friendly, answering all my questions in detail and constantly showing concern for my well-being. Their kindness was truly heartwarming! If I bought some incense at the guesthouse, they even provided a guided tour of the Nanyue Grand Temple, making the trip truly worthwhile, like making a good friend on Hengshan Mountain! I'll definitely bring my colleagues back to visit the Grand Temple soon!

The B&B was only opened last year. The owner and his family are super cute. It takes about 10 minutes from Hengshan West to the B&B, and less than 10 minutes from the B&B to the scenic area. The small courtyard is near Yanshou Pavilion in the scenic area. For those who want to climb to the top to watch the sunrise on the second day of their stay, starting from the small courtyard saves two hours of climbing time, and it takes 2 and a half hours to walk to Zhurong Peak, which is quite good. The choice was made. This B&B was newly opened in 2024. The equipment and facilities are very new. The style is simple and fashionable. The rooms are relatively large and very comfortable. The chef in the small restaurant is very good at cooking. The food is cooked to order in the small courtyard. It is worth recommending. The two guys who were in charge of the store took care of the pick-up station and front desk service. They enthusiastically helped us deliver our luggage to the door of the room. I temporarily changed to a larger room and the price difference was waived when I checked out. In short The experience these two days was super nine, highly recommended!

There is a gym, restaurant and laundry room on the 4th floor. After a five-kilometer run the next morning, I can go to the next door for breakfast. The handle of the left window in room 1410 was damaged and could not be closed. The staff on duty came to deal with the problem at night but there was no solution. The large truck on National Highway 107 next door started to be noisy in the morning and I couldn't sleep. Other than that, there were no other problems😬

My husband forgot to bring a razor when he came out. There is health porridge in the evening, and the breakfast is not bad. It’s just that the sensor light in the bathroom is too sensitive at night, and it’s very bright. It’s very dazzling at night, and it stays on for a long time, which kind of affects your sleep. In fact, it can be changed to a softer night light.

Hotel at 20 minutes away from the station by bus, but if you are aiming for the city center, it may not be ideal. The room is really nice, but I might not have paid attention while booking and got a room in which guests can smoke, therefore there was a smell. Even though it is written in that they welcome foreigners on Trip, the check-in was a bit complicated. Somehow they still managed it, so I am gratefull they did not turn me away.

Great hotel! Very helpful and courteous staff. Don't think you will find much better in Leiyang. Everything is new. Great hot shower and lots of water pressure. No coffee or tea in the rooms or at breakfast. But convenience store is just outside.
