The location of the B&B is very close to the temple, just a five-minute walk. Because the room was fully booked that day, the family of three could only book a double room. The extra bed was too hard and too small, not suitable for a family of three adults. The room is clean and hygienic, with a hot spring bath. A small suggestion is that the water in the hot spring bath may not be hot enough in winter, and the water flow is a bit small. It is recommended that it can be optimized later. The food at the B&B is very delicious, all of which are authentic local home-cooked dishes. The vegetables are grown by the owner’s grandmother and are very sweet. There are also very detailed instructions for burning incense, so even beginners can follow the instructions and pray with confidence.

Staying at Qiye Mountain Lodge halfway up Hengshan Mountain was truly an amazing experience. The lodge's environment was superb; from the stylishly designed common areas to the misty mountain scenery, every view was perfect for taking photos. The service was also incredibly attentive, with the staff being exceptionally warm and helpful. Here, you can experience the tranquility of the mountains and forests while enjoying stunning views of Hengshan Mountain. The value for money is incredible, and I highly recommend it when visiting Hengshan. It's conveniently located, and there's even a free driver for pick-up and drop-off.

The location of the homestay is also super convenient. It is just behind the temple. If you want to burn incense and worship Buddha, you can go to the first floor to find your grandmother to buy incense. The price is really convenient. Because there is a short distance from the main road, the noise is very small, the view outside the window is good, if you come by car, you can contact the boss to reserve a parking space. This price is really the best homestay I have ever stayed in! If I insist on the shortcomings, I can live for a day, and I will have the opportunity to come with my friends in the future, and I will stay here!

As soon as we got off the bus, a staff member helped us with our luggage and asked if we were staying at the hotel. Then when they found out we were two girls, they asked us considerately if we wanted to change rooms. We went to see the rooms and they were very cozy. You can go downstairs and chat by the fire with your friends staying at the hotel. The boss’s daughter is also very cute. The B&B is named after her. She is so cute and small. This hotel is a few km away from Nanyue area where the popular Nanyue Temple 南岳大庙 is located. However, public bus ¥6/way is available in front of the hotel. Bus ride is about 30-45min. After Temple visit, exit through the back gate and start the hiking to Hengshan. Recommend to take a mini bus ¥40/way（中巴）up to Nantian Gate 南天门, from there hike to the peak and walk down on foot. Total steps 37k. There is a KFC next to hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. In general, quite a reasonable stay.

The small courtyard is near Yanshou Pavilion in the scenic area. For those who want to climb to the top to watch the sunrise on the second day of their stay, starting from the small courtyard saves two hours of climbing time, and it takes 2 and a half hours to walk to Zhurong Peak, which is quite good. The choice was made. This B&B was newly opened in 2024. The equipment and facilities are very new. The style is simple and fashionable. The rooms are relatively large and very comfortable. The chef in the small restaurant is very good at cooking. The food is cooked to order in the small courtyard. It is worth recommending. The two guys who were in charge of the store took care of the pick-up station and front desk service. They enthusiastically helped us deliver our luggage to the door of the room. I temporarily changed to a larger room and the price difference was waived when I checked out. In short The experience these two days was super nine, highly recommended!
