3-Star Hotels in Jiayuguan

The room was incredibly clean and tidy. I'll definitely stay here again when I return after the New Year holiday, as it's quite close to the highway exit. When I checked in, the staff offered me hot towels and yogurt, and in the evening, I even received hot milk. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend! 👍👍

Very clean and cozy room. Parking on the street was quite convenient. The room came with amenities like a foot bath and purified water. The guesthouse itself was thoughtfully decorated, with some fun features on the ground floor. You can even see the snowy mountains from here!

Very impressed with that hotel and the staff. Good location relatively close to the fortress and on the way to the wall. Plenty of food options around and more within 1 Km around. The staff at the reception were so helpful. No English spoken but with all the apps communication is not a big issue. It just take more time 🤔😅 The room was big. Great bathroom. A lot of space and storage available. Good air conditioning system. Breakfast was simply delicious and every day there were different items available. Not much western food but anyway Chinese food is healthier. Staff there was lovely. The fitness area is a bit minimalist. Self laundry is available and works great. I will return for sure. A Personal tip to people visiting Jiayuguan: I suggest getting to the wall first thing in the morning after breakfast. Taxis is the only option.In July 2024 the price I paid (Meter as usual) was 26 Yuans. After visiting that place take a taxi to the fortress (Jiayu pass) as it is on the way to the city anyway. The cost was 11 Yuans and it is very close to the fortress unlike the main ticket office located 2 Km away (where the bus nr 4 stops). Further tip if you like HotPot restaurants the NanjiaXiang is a great choice at a very reasonable price. It is 800 meters away from the hotel.

Pretty quiet room. Big and roomy. Typical breakfast are provided. Fulling but nothing special. Staff at the check in counter are friendly and helpful. Seems like there's a lots of spa and massages parlour around. Never tried it out as it looks 'dubious'

They offered yogurt and fruit, and the pear was especially tasty – a very thoughtful touch. The service was quite good. Since I came during the off-season, the price I paid wasn't high. Overall, my stay matched what you'd expect from a hotel at this price point, so I kept my expectations in check. The view outside the window was just the wall of another building, which felt a bit confining, but it's fine since I just needed a place to sleep and kept the curtains drawn anyway. The toiletries weren't of good quality. All in all, it was decent. Livable.

Facilities: The facilities are complete, relatively new and smart, the projector is easy to use, you can watch some videos, and the hotel pillows are very comfortable to sleep. Hygiene: Good health, cleaned very clean. Service: The front desk lady is good at serving, and will inform various housing precautions when checking in. The hotel has many breakfast categories, balanced nutrition, and clean and delicious.

Good location. The bodyguard was very nice when he introduced us the best local restaurant. He also followed us to show us the way to go there. Only one comment that we booked non-smoking rooms but the hotel gave us the smoking room so the smell was not so good. Please check customers’s request at the check-in time.

He was attentive to our every need, taking care of even the smallest details to ensure a perfect experience. Without a doubt, if we ever return to Jiayuguan, we would book with them again. The hotel is relatively far from the central area of ​​Jiayuguan and is on the outskirts of the city. However, during the National Day period, the price is still very attractive. After all, for self-driving people, there is not much in such a small city with such a short distance. Impact, there is a relatively large yard behind the hotel that is dedicated to parking, so it is very friendly to people who park and drive themselves. The gas station opposite the hotel has rechargeable electric piles, which is also friendly to trams. The facilities and hygiene of the entire hotel are acceptable. There are no shortcomings. The only thing is that the water separation between the toilet and the shower room is not very good. After taking a shower, the water flows to the toilet.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right beside the Jiayuguan Scenic Area Tourist Service Centre and within walking distance of numerous restaurants. The most beautiful aspect of the property is its surroundings. It feels like a charming cottage with a historical touch, yet it offers all the modern amenities one could need. The service is also excellent, with everything taken care of thoughtfully and efficiently. The staff even arranged a drop-off to the Jiayuguan section of the Great Wall, which was greatly appreciated. One simply has to stay at this place for the experience alone. It is not just accommodation; it becomes an integral part of the whole Jiayuguan experience.
