Jiayuguan Hotels with Parking

The owner was very cheerful, the scenery was beautiful, and the breakfast was great. The river view with lights at night was lovely, the sky was very blue, and there was a nice breeze. Breakfast was especially healthy and came with cute eggs. They also offer a pick-up service.

The doorman was quick to help me with my luggage, which I really appreciated! The front desk staff were very attentive, providing complimentary hand cream, wet wipes, fruit, and yogurt. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Although the duvet and sheets weren't brand new, they were spotless. As always, there were White Rabbit candies and nougat in a small bowl. I called for 6-8 bottles of mineral water (to boil Chinese medicine), and a robot delivered 8 bottles very quickly. The breakfast was delicious, with my favorite NFC peach juice, and the wontons and xiaolongbao were great. Just a couple of suggestions: It would be better if the fried dough sticks for breakfast weren't fried too far in advance, as they get a bit tough when cold. Also, the shampoo makes my hair feel a bit dry, so I'd recommend adding conditioner.

Very impressed with that hotel and the staff. Good location relatively close to the fortress and on the way to the wall. Plenty of food options around and more within 1 Km around. The staff at the reception were so helpful. No English spoken but with all the apps communication is not a big issue. It just take more time 🤔😅 The room was big. Great bathroom. A lot of space and storage available. Good air conditioning system. Breakfast was simply delicious and every day there were different items available. Not much western food but anyway Chinese food is healthier. Staff there was lovely. The fitness area is a bit minimalist. Self laundry is available and works great. I will return for sure. A Personal tip to people visiting Jiayuguan: I suggest getting to the wall first thing in the morning after breakfast. Taxis is the only option. In July 2024 the price I paid (Meter as usual) was 26 Yuans. After visiting that place take a taxi to the fortress (Jiayu pass) as it is on the way to the city anyway. The cost was 11 Yuans and it is very close to the fortress unlike the main ticket office located 2 Km away (where the bus nr 4 stops). Further tip if you like HotPot restaurants the NanjiaXiang is a great choice at a very reasonable price. It is 800 meters away from the hotel.

Perfect for families with kids! The room was spacious and odor-free, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We all slept soundly. The front desk staff were really friendly, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Our whole family had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for those traveling with children.

The hotel is easy to find; navigation takes you right to the entrance. There's ample parking both in front and in the back courtyard, which is super convenient for those traveling by car—no need to worry about finding a spot. Even though it was a holiday with many guests, after checking in, the residential building beyond the lobby was very quiet with good soundproofing, allowing for a restful stay. It's understandable that the hotel was busy during the holiday, and overall, the cleanliness was good, making for a comfortable and accommodating experience.

The room was quite comfortable, and they provided disposable towels and toiletries. There's an elevator and parking available. The hallways are quite long, giving it a bit of a maze-like feel, but these aren't major issues. The only inconvenience was that in the afternoon, the main entrance was completely full of parked cars, making it difficult to bring luggage into the hotel. The path was very narrow, and with steps at the entrance, it would be quite troublesome for a woman traveling alone with a large suitcase. Other than that, everything else was fine.

The room was clean and tidy with bright windows, and it's super close to the scenic area. The bus stop for getting around isn't far either. The staff were really nice; they'd tell you how to get to the attractions and how to catch the bus, which was a huge help for someone visiting.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! The front desk staff were super enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. The room was also spotlessly clean. Plus, the parking lot is huge and even has charging stations and car washing facilities – very comprehensive!

The exterior looked nice, and the room was quite spacious. I even saw a complete sunrise over the Gobi Desert this morning. However, the design of the facilities was really problematic. The sink faucet was partially obstructed by the bottom edge of the mirror, making it difficult to turn on. The facilities also needed repair; the shower water was extremely difficult to adjust—either scalding hot or freezing cold. After struggling for a long time, I finally managed to take a shower. I wanted to change rooms, but it was late, and my luggage was all spread out. Anyway, I was just passing through and staying one night, so I figured I'd just leave it at that. Oh, and the sink water was also difficult to adjust. The first thing everyone should do upon checking in is check the shower water; if you don't have this problem, it's not bad!

The hotel is in an excellent location, right beside the Jiayuguan Scenic Area Tourist Service Centre and within walking distance of numerous restaurants. The most beautiful aspect of the property is its surroundings. It feels like a charming cottage with a historical touch, yet it offers all the modern amenities one could need. The service is also excellent, with everything taken care of thoughtfully and efficiently. The staff even arranged a drop-off to the Jiayuguan section of the Great Wall, which was greatly appreciated. One simply has to stay at this place for the experience alone. It is not just accommodation; it becomes an integral part of the whole Jiayuguan experience.
