Guest UserThe owner was very cheerful, the scenery was beautiful, and the breakfast was great. The river view with lights at night was lovely, the sky was very blue, and there was a nice breeze. Breakfast was especially healthy and came with cute eggs. They also offer a pick-up service.

Solace OverlandingThe room was clean and spacious enough for a comfortable stay.
What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Upon my arrival, the lady at the front desk thoughtfully offered me skin moisturizer, knowing how dry the weather is in this region. Before I checked out, this morning when I check out, she also provided several bottles of water and wet tissues, reminding me to take care of myself in the dry climate.
The security uncle were equally helpful. When I was looking for coffee, he went out of his way to switch on the coffee machine and assist me without hesitation.
What separates a good hotel chain from a great one is not just the quality of the rooms or facilities, it is the people. The genuine care, kindness, and attentiveness of the staff made my stay memorable and left a lasting impression.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, the best experience of my entire Qinghai-Gansu loop trip.
The hotel room was clean and tidy, the mattress was just the right firmness, very comfortable, and there were plenty of office-friendly amenities, including desks, chairs, and lamps.
The hotel service was exceptional; arguably the best I've experienced in a budget hotel. The front desk staff proactively recommended sightseeing options and restaurants, all of which were delicious (the food we ate at the tourist attractions the previous days was both expensive and terrible).
The hotel is located in the old food district of Fuqiang Market. Perhaps because it's an older area, the streets outside were quite run-down, which initially dampened my spirits. However, the hotel experience truly offered a contrast, and the nearby restaurants were frequented by locals. I highly recommend staying here. (I didn't take any room photos, so I'm using other pictures instead.)

澳洲來的的訪客Hotel is well located with food streets a stroll away. Manager at the hotel, Sam, speaks good English and has gone out of his way to provide advice on places of interest, help book private tours and tips about places of interest in other cities we are heading to.

The five stars are for the security guard at the entrance, probably Mr. 42. He smiled and greeted us as soon as he saw our car, and even helped with our luggage. Mr. 41 and Mr. 57 polished our car until it shined – a huge thank you to them! In stark contrast to the security guards, the front desk staff were completely expressionless. It was like ice and fire! Don't five-star hotels offer smile service at the front desk anymore? I booked a deluxe lake view room, which offers a distant glimpse of a corner of the lake in a street-side park. It was a hundred more expensive than a standard room, but I don't really see the difference. The breakfast was quite ordinary, truly not what I'd expect from a five-star hotel.

This hotel booking was such a great deal, mainly because I used my Trip.com points. It's clean, hygienic, and the room size is really spacious. Absolutely fantastic! Next time I come to Jiayuguan, I'm definitely staying here again. It's truly excellent.

This is a fantastic hotel with excellent amenities. They have a huge parking lot in the back, and there are many restaurants nearby. But the absolute highlight is their breakfast. My wife and I have been on road trips for years, staying in hundreds of hotels, and we've never seen a breakfast like this. They offer over 50 different items, including both Chinese and Western options. They even have things other hotels don't, like salmon, 'Buddha Jumps Over the Wall' soup, boiled prawns, fried chicken nuggets, and fried fish. Everything is incredibly fresh; when the salmon runs out, they immediately bring out more. And all of this for just 28 RMB per person! The owner is truly thoughtful. I highly recommend staying here!

Anonymous UserClean and spacious. Some eateries and massage salons around the area. Shower area separate from toilet. There was a water cut one morning which the hotel didn't inform us, though it was a scheduled maintenance. They restored water supply when we called up the front desk.

Anonymous UserI have three criteria when booking a hotel: a separate wet/dry shower area, a laundry room, and breakfast. Ibis perfectly met all my requirements, offering a washer, dryer, and detergent. Plus, the washing machines have only two settings, which saves everyone time. In Europe, Ibis is my go-to for budget accommodation, and the Jiayuguan Ibis offers excellent value for money. It's no exaggeration to say it's just a two-minute walk from Jiayuguan Station with your luggage, and multiple bus routes start right outside the hotel. The front desk staff are all very kind and friendly. The room was new, very clean, and had a huge TV. Everything about it was excellent. On top of that, the hotel hosts meetings for large state-owned companies, and you know what that means – it's a good hotel!

Great location near the lake, an easy drive to the three major Great Wall attractions and the food street is just a block away with some amazing restaurants, bars and even an 8 ball hall. The staff at the hotel were great and very attentive, especially with breakfast. Beef noodles were a great start to the day and the chef makes the hand-stretched noodles in front of you. The hotel manager had his honey moon in Australia and took time to introduce himself and make us feel welcome. Free easy parking underneath too. Rooms were clean with a good view. If we come back this way we will stay here again!
