Ss_530Wonderful experience to staying in the important architecture. The site is originally owned the De Saram bros. and given to the Bawa trust then became an accommodation for public. The building is renovated by Geoffrey Bawa, so it’s must visit for architects and designers. The building is in good condition, it’s not for luxury but for indifferent experience. The master staff is really nice and knowledgeable, he kindly showed me other rooms! I had a pleasant and precious experience here. Note: wifi and hot water is really good. Breakfast is international style. (non Sri Lankan) The main entrance is really deep from the street, you just ring the bell of the huge black gate.

GGuest UserI booked a 6-bed female dorm but when checking in, they said I will be in 4-bed. Upgrading...it has only 2 persons, me and another foreigner.
It has a private bathroom in the room. The interior is nice. It's located near KFC, tacobell, bread talk, and a supermarket chain. And also bus stops near by to Colombo Fort both train station and bus stand.
I can't find another good hostel around Colombo.

Ssummer77oI was upgraded to a suite. Even though I only stayed for 4 hours due to a late-night arrival and an early morning tour, the clean and spacious room was very comfortable. The shower pressure and temperature were perfect, and the hairdryer had good airflow. I also enjoyed the complimentary tea. The staff were friendly and I was very satisfied. I hope to visit again for a longer stay next time.

UUthpalaI stayed three nights at Fairway Colombo and the hotel delivered a modern, efficient experience. The highlight is the use of robot technology for deliveries, which adds convenience and consistency to the service. Check-in was smooth, and staff were courteous and well-organized throughout the stay.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with reliable Wi-Fi and all essential amenities. Housekeeping was punctual and unobtrusive. The hotel’s location near the Dutch Hospital area made it easy to access dining and attractions on foot.

HHussain NafizI recently stayed at Anarva Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable. The rooms were modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with beautiful decor that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The amenities, especially the spa and pool area, were top-notch, providing the perfect place to unwind.
The hotel’s location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. I also have to mention the dining experience—delicious food with a great variety of local and international options. Every meal was a treat!
Overall, Anarva Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

GGuest UserMy room was the one with little balcony, conveniently for someone who smokes. But it was filthy and lots of bird ****, looks like housekeeping doesn’t include that area. My room was on the 4th floor, there was also mosquitos in the room.
