SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnonymous UserStumbled upon a Ctrip gem, this B&B was a delightful surprise during my Wuyishan trip. The scenery here is stunning, easily rivaling the Nine-Bend Stream. The owner is incredibly warm and provides excellent service. They even upgraded our room for free, offered complimentary fruit, tea eggs, and health-boosting tea, and the breakfast spread was generous. Their tea factory produces delicious tea, and they even gifted us some when we left. This B&B offers great value for money, especially for someone as particular about cleanliness as I am – I couldn't find a single flaw, even in the nooks and crannies. Highly recommended!

MM529456****Great location! The front desk staff, especially a lovely lady, was incredibly enthusiastic and helped us tailor-make our travel itinerary. They even provided free military coats and hand warmers for the Impression Dahongpao show, which was a nice touch. Plus, there's an adorable 'Lucky Cat' (Zhaocai) that you can pet freely! Highly recommend!

JJizi55We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They not only upgraded us to a larger room but also helped carry some of our luggage upstairs. Afterwards, we sampled tea and received a briefing on the attractions of Wuyishan.
They also assisted us in booking tickets for the ”Impression Dahongpao” evening show, bamboo rafting in Wuyishan, and the sightseeing bus within the Wuyishan scenic area.
The staff were very thoughtful, gifting us a packet of tea as a small present and, at our request, allowing us to check out late until after 2 PM.
We are very grateful for their excellent service and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Wuyishan.

CCatttttttHygiene was inconsistent; the bathroom smelled and had noticeable hair. Service was inconsistent; a few staff members were nice, but the short-haired staff member was rude, rushing to leave and trying to impose rules on people. Staying in a guesthouse isn't about being told what to do; they had absolutely no service awareness. They urged me to check out at 11 PM, something I've never encountered in all my hotel stays. Soundproofing was poor; there was construction noise nearby early in the morning and during the day, and the neighbors next door would jump rope in their building until 10 PM. Of all the guesthouses I stayed at in Wuyishan, I gave 5 stars except for this one—it ruined my experience.

SShilichunsongHonestly, I'm speechless. This is genuinely the most comfortable B&B I've ever stayed at, with practically no downsides whatsoever. Following recommendations was truly the best decision I made this time.
The B&B itself, from its exterior and the surrounding environment to the lobby's interior and even the rooms, all exude a distinct charm and elegance. It's incredibly beautiful and *Instagrammable*, making it perfect for young travelers. Plus, the bay window in our room looked exactly like its photos online – it was so stunning, I just had to lie on the bed and snap countless pictures.
The cleanliness, facilities, service, and overall environment were all absolutely impeccable. Aside from the doors being a *tad* loud when closing, this minor issue was easily overshadowed by all the positives. The various complimentary souvenirs and free services offered fantastic value for money. It's genuinely perfect for first-time visitors to Wuyi Mountain, and the price is quite reasonable as well.
To sum it up, it's simply amazing. I genuinely loved it, and if I ever return to Wuyi Mountain, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserThe environment is quiet and beautiful, and the rooms are immaculately clean. The owner and her family are incredibly kind, making it feel like home. Everyone there is so friendly. They greeted us as soon as we entered, making it feel like home, and we enjoyed tea and chatted whenever we had time.
The location is also convenient, with easy transportation, making it hassle-free. You can take bus No. 9 directly from Wuyishan North Station, and the bus is free, which is a real relief!
There's also a restaurant where you can order dishes, with clearly marked prices. The dishes are delicious, and the portions are generous, making for a satisfying meal.
Highly recommended!

XXihuanfeixiangdezhuOverall, I am satisfied with the old-fashioned style. The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. Some suggestions: First, after booking a room, you have to go to the door by yourself, unlike other B&B owners who will contact you +V to remind you of things to pay attention to. Second, the house is not far from the north and south entrances of Wuyi Mountain, and is only across a bridge from the dining area, but you need to explore there by yourself. Third, when I was staying upstairs at night, I met two people chatting and walking around. The room was not soundproofed and the noise was very loud. I was woken up at around two o'clock in the middle of the night. I went out to look for the service staff, but no one was on duty. I could only stand in the yard and shout. Later, I ran upstairs and knocked on the door to remind them before they went to sleep quietly.
