SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnonymous UserStumbled upon a Ctrip gem, this B&B was a delightful surprise during my Wuyishan trip. The scenery here is stunning, easily rivaling the Nine-Bend Stream. The owner is incredibly warm and provides excellent service. They even upgraded our room for free, offered complimentary fruit, tea eggs, and health-boosting tea, and the breakfast spread was generous. Their tea factory produces delicious tea, and they even gifted us some when we left. This B&B offers great value for money, especially for someone as particular about cleanliness as I am – I couldn't find a single flaw, even in the nooks and crannies. Highly recommended!

11399861****The owner upgraded us to a spacious family room with a balcony, which was fully equipped. They thoughtfully prepared snacks, tea bags, and various daily necessities for guests. Although these weren't expensive items, you could feel the owner's attentiveness and how well they considered their guests' needs. The front desk also offered complimentary local specialty Dahongpao tea eggs for guests. The owner helped us book tickets for the 'Impression Dahongpao' show, which were cheaper than buying directly and had better seats, allowing us to participate in the interactive parts of the performance. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay and definitely worth recommending.

GGuest UserI recently relaxed in the Wuyishan resort area again, staying at the Ruyi She Family Villa Hotel, which was truly comfortable!
We've known each other for years, like old friends. The hotel has changed a lot, but it's right opposite the Impression Dahongpao Theater, a very convenient location with easy access to everywhere.
The villa-style environment is very quiet, perfect for relaxation or a vacation with family and friends.
I often choose their twin rooms; they're spacious, clean, and offer beautiful views from the windows. I'm always satisfied with my stay.
If you're also planning a trip to Wuyishan, you should try this hotel; it's really great, and I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe entire room including the toilet was very clean and looked almost brand new.
It was easy to get to the hotel from Nanpingshi Station by taking K1 and following the directions sent by the staff. There are also free local buses very near the hotel to get to the bamboo raft pier and to the scenic area south entrance. There are also many eateries around.
One staff member was particularly helpful - she showed me how to use a WeChat app to find the bus stops/routes/timing which was very useful in helping get around and also to rush down to the bus stop on my departure day so I could catch K1 back to Nanpingshi Station. She was wearing a light purple jacket (not sure if her name is Xiao Yang?) and the other staff could certainly do with her enthusiasm in helping and engaging the guests.

CCatttttttHygiene was inconsistent; the bathroom smelled and had noticeable hair. Service was inconsistent; a few staff members were nice, but the short-haired staff member was rude, rushing to leave and trying to impose rules on people. Staying in a guesthouse isn't about being told what to do; they had absolutely no service awareness. They urged me to check out at 11 PM, something I've never encountered in all my hotel stays. Soundproofing was poor; there was construction noise nearby early in the morning and during the day, and the neighbors next door would jump rope in their building until 10 PM. Of all the guesthouses I stayed at in Wuyishan, I gave 5 stars except for this one—it ruined my experience.

GGuest UserThis time we chose to stay inside the scenic area. The hotel was well-equipped and very quiet. I was initially worried about mosquitoes, but we didn't even need to use mosquito coils! Our room was upgraded and even more comfortable. After hiking in the evening, we were a bit tired and didn't want to go out for dinner, so the hotel specially prepared a dinner for us, including Hong Kong-style salt-baked chicken! All four of us were very satisfied!

XXihuanfeixiangdezhuOverall, I am satisfied with the old-fashioned style. The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. Some suggestions: First, after booking a room, you have to go to the door by yourself, unlike other B&B owners who will contact you +V to remind you of things to pay attention to. Second, the house is not far from the north and south entrances of Wuyi Mountain, and is only across a bridge from the dining area, but you need to explore there by yourself. Third, when I was staying upstairs at night, I met two people chatting and walking around. The room was not soundproofed and the noise was very loud. I was woken up at around two o'clock in the middle of the night. I went out to look for the service staff, but no one was on duty. I could only stand in the yard and shout. Later, I ran upstairs and knocked on the door to remind them before they went to sleep quietly.
