Mountain View Hotels in Nanping

We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

Our stay far exceeded expectations! The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful ambiance. The host was extremely warm, thoughtful, and attentive. The biggest pleasant surprise was how amazing the food was—such delicious home-cooked meals! The location is fantastic, very close to all the main attractions, making getting around super convenient. A special shoutout to the pet-friendly policy; traveling with our dog was completely hassle-free, and our pup felt right at home too. Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again next time!

Super clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and the washbasin and bathroom, which are of utmost importance for girls traveling, were spotless and stained. They even thoughtfully provided disposable towels and toilet seat covers. The air conditioning cooled down quickly, perfect for summer travel. They even provided disposable, packaged cups for rinsing your mouth. It's comparable to any high-end chain hotel. The owner was very friendly and responded promptly to any questions we had during our trip. We loved the decor – clean, tidy, and thoughtfully designed. The location is excellent; taxis are readily available, and there are plenty of delicious food options to order. Location, service, and facilities are all top-notch!

Serene Twin Room, 45 sqm, two 1.2-meter beds. While this is an entry-level room category at Chunpo, the core experience wasn't compromised. The pros: The butler service was very responsive, and the shuttle carts were always on demand. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the Zixi rice noodles and local snacks. Standard amenities included a Dyson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, and Dahongpao tea bags. The room was clean and tidy. However, there were real issues: The soundproofing was poor. Noise from the hallway and doors opening and closing carried right into the room. Late at night, we could clearly hear guests with kids returning, with both adults and children talking loudly in the corridor. By 6:00 AM the next morning, we could hear other guests pacing around in their rooms, which practically forced us to get up and leave. This room type doesn't offer a view of Dawang Peak—the window view was disappointing. Given the behavior of the neighboring guests, I wouldn't choose this room type again; next time, I'd pay extra to upgrade to a higher tier or a villa.

Whether you're already passionate about tea or just starting your journey, Buzhichun is the perfect place to stay in Wuyishan — a city deeply rooted in tea culture. The room is spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with minimalist touches. The natural colors and materials create a calming atmosphere that feels like home — perfect for slow living. The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room. On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests. The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind. What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests. Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home. During this trip, I stayed at Wuyishan Guanlan Shuyuan Space and experienced their butler service. The butlers, Xiao Guo and Xiao Chen, were warm and attentive. From sending travel guides in advance to helping resolve travel issues at any time, they saved us some unnecessary expenses. The hotel environment is exceptionally nice; the courtyard design is elegant, and the lighting and arrangement are great for photos. You can easily capture stunning shots, so photography lovers shouldn't miss it. The restaurant is also very good—the dining environment is clean and bright, and enjoying the scenery while eating is extremely relaxing. I was quite satisfied with the food, accommodation, activities, parking, and location. Highly recommended for self-driving trips, whether traveling independently, in groups, or with family!

The hotel's hardware details are thoughtfully designed, with effective blackout curtains in the rooms and instant hot water. The public amenities are comprehensive; after exploring Wuyi Mountain, it was great to relax in the gym or do laundry and drying, which made the trip much more convenient. The facilities definitely deserve five stars.

My stay at the Jinjiang Metropolo Wuyishan exceeded all expectations, it truly deserves a five-star rating. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right on Sangu Old Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and reaching various scenic spots. The room was impeccably clean, and I had a very restful night's sleep. The front desk staff, housekeeping, and restaurant servers were all very welcoming and enthusiastic. The front desk even provided a helpful 'welcome reminder' with clear recommendations for dining and sightseeing. They also had a thoughtful selection of small amenities available, like disposable toilet seat covers, dental floss, and individually wrapped cotton swabs. After a tiring day of exploring, you can relax on the ground floor, enjoy some tea, and immerse yourself in Wuyi tea culture. This hotel has definitely made it onto my favorites list!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was big and sunny, very silent, the bed comfortable, the heating worked really well and the shower gets nice and hot if you wait for a while. It’s off season right now, but we were still surprised to see that the hotel was practically empty, it deserves more clients. It’s one of the few hotels inside the park which is very convenient, and much nicer than the ones outside of the park that look really sad and ugl. We much preferred waking up with a view on the tea plantations. The staff doesn’t speak English at all but they’re very kind and will try their best to understand all your needs through translation apps. We ended up staying a day less and they were kind enough to give us the breakfast for free. They will also offer you to taste their local tea in the hall, which is delicious and served in the traditional way which is fascinating to watch. The furniture and overall look of the hotel might be a little dated, but we actually liked it, it gives character compared to all the ultra modern, aseptic hotels. The breakfast was really abundant and delicious, typical of the area which we loved. The only real inconvenience is that didi won’t be able to leave you at the hotel entrance, it will be stopped at the park entrance which is a 10 minutes walk on a road busy with all the park’s buses. The solution is either booking the car directly through the hotel, or ask the hotel to register your didi’s plate so it can enter the park. We did this when we visited the nearby Xiamei village and it worked.
