SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

GGuest UserThe experience of this homestay is great! The location of the Binfenli B&B is excellent, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the travel is convenient. The room design is unique, the layout is warm and elegant, the facilities are all available and the quality is excellent, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it makes people sleep well all night. The hotel staff is warm and hospitable, the service is thoughtful and intimate, you can feel the warmth of home here, I highly recommend it to everyone, I will choose this homestay next time!

However as the room was not ready yet, the staff were kind enough to share with me all the tips to visit the various attractions over a nice introduction of their wide selection of tea. After checking in, I noticed that the room was full of basic necessities readily available for your usage and also had a good assortment of snacks which were replenished daily. Special mention to 小燕子 and 小敏 who were very hospitable and took great care of my stay throughout. 💯

BBoboI saw a promotion for this hotel on Xiaohongshu and thought it looked great, so I immediately booked a room, arriving with high expectations. After a long journey, the staff told us there was construction outside our room and asked if we wanted an upgrade, saying we could see the room first before deciding. It was also a dark, cold, and rainy day. Honestly, if a room is going to negatively impact the guest experience, especially on a weekday when the hotel isn't fully booked, the hotel should proactively switch the room for the guest. This is the only hotel I've ever encountered where, when the room type isn't ideal, guests are expected to pay extra to upgrade. The hotel shouldn't pass on the cost of being a 'victim' (due to construction) to its guests. Regarding the environment, when I opened the curtains, I could indeed see villas being built directly opposite, with construction workers visibly moving around. The road outside the hotel was also under repair. The overall experience was quite poor. As for the facilities, although the hairdryer was a Dyson, it was missing its attachment, making it difficult to style my hair. The hinge on the bathroom glass door was broken, causing it to make a super loud noise when opening and closing, and I even thought it was completely broken and couldn't be opened or closed properly. The same applied to the walls. Overall, the service felt superficial. Constantly asking 'how was your stay?' when they knew there was construction going on doesn't automatically equate to good service.

CCatttttttHygiene was inconsistent; the bathroom smelled and had noticeable hair. Service was inconsistent; a few staff members were nice, but the short-haired staff member was rude, rushing to leave and trying to impose rules on people. Staying in a guesthouse isn't about being told what to do; they had absolutely no service awareness. They urged me to check out at 11 PM, something I've never encountered in all my hotel stays. Soundproofing was poor; there was construction noise nearby early in the morning and during the day, and the neighbors next door would jump rope in their building until 10 PM. Of all the guesthouses I stayed at in Wuyishan, I gave 5 stars except for this one—it ruined my experience.

The front desk lady was very warm, attentive, and helpful, answering all my questions and even upgrading my room for free. The room was very spacious, clean, and odorless, and the air conditioning was quiet, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast was also rich and satisfying! I'll definitely choose Baina Hotel again if I come back to Wuyishan.

GGuest UserThe environment is quiet and beautiful, and the rooms are immaculately clean. The owner and her family are incredibly kind, making it feel like home. Everyone there is so friendly. They greeted us as soon as we entered, making it feel like home, and we enjoyed tea and chatted whenever we had time.
The location is also convenient, with easy transportation, making it hassle-free. You can take bus No. 9 directly from Wuyishan North Station, and the bus is free, which is a real relief!
There's also a restaurant where you can order dishes, with clearly marked prices. The dishes are delicious, and the portions are generous, making for a satisfying meal.
Highly recommended!
