The owner was very helpful. He was eager for me to sign up with a Safari tour that he organized and said that I could check out later which I appreciated. The tour was a little disappointing though as the breakfast he mentioned was not what I received. I was.however happy that he prepared some food when I arrived as I said that I wouldn't be able to eat the hotel breakfast that I paid for. The sheets had marks on them and I saw big cockroaches. There was no air-conditioning so the room was a bit stuffy.

Lovely place with an amazing view. The lady who received me was so sweet and nice. They made me dinner and breakfast and it was all delicious. Very clean place and attentive staff. I would recommend! I also loved that they have water dispenser to fill my tumbler so I did not need to buy plastic bottled water. This I really appreciate. No complaints, great place and wish them the best.

Great place in a very good location. Staff were very kind and helpful even when I made a mistake with the booking (my fault) so because of this I really recommend this place. It’s simple so don’t expect luxury but it is good value.

The room is very good! Very clean! The view of the room is very good, the decoration is minimalist industrial style, this hotel starts at least 1500 in China, this price is too worth it. This price and quality are too cheap in Mrs. Lanca. The hotel also has a garden with peacocks and two cute kittens. The owner is very nice, warm and very demeanor, and the scale of getting along with the guests is very comfortable. The hotel's own jeep driver is particularly experienced, with yala safari for twenty years, the same presence as the boss. Under his leadership, we soon entered the park and saw the leopard. Later, under his guidance, we also saw alligators, elephant mothers and babies, various birds, lizards, various deer. We really feel that the car does not need to be particularly good, nor does it need to drive very fast. There is an experienced driver enough. Others are also very good, English is good, and they can speak Chinese for all animals. In fact, the most worth mentioning of this hotel is their chef, the food made is particularly delicious, it is the best we have eaten on this trip. All people love to eat children, said that fortunately, I lived for a day, otherwise he will really gain weight, by the way, he ate one and a half portions for dinner on the first night, grilled fish, not to be missed. Should be in two years will come to Lanca, will definitely come to Yala, come to top trees. Because here, I love Lanca more.

only 5 mins far from the main street by car, the resort is small but lovely. the room is big and clean. you can book jeep to Yala National Park for Safari tour (about 4 hour tour, recommended to go from 2pm-6pm), and the jeep will pick up you at the resort.

Hotel service is good, breakfast is good, ordering is not bad, live on the second floor with balcony, swimming pool in front of the building, very quiet, the birds in the night are very loud, go to Safari alone, you will be a chartered car, inform the hotel in advance to pack breakfast The cost of renting a car to other places is relatively high. The location is not on the street, it takes about 5 kilometers to walk to the lake. The overall is very good, very casual!

A wonderful family run establishment. I was very ill during my stay and the owner took me to his doctor friend and pharmacy and took care of me. The room is comfortable and it has a nice sitting balcony. Its very very quiet and easy to sleep. Its 10 mins by tuk tuk to tissa lake and the safari is not far. They offer safari services although I didn't use. Wifi available. Lots of plugs in the room. Breakfast is flexible and accommodating. The family is so kind and warm. Highly recommend staying here.

For me the location was good, as it was peaceful. It may not suit others, as it some distance away from amenities, but not an issue if you have a driver. At the time of stay there was no Wi Fi, as apparently a falling tree, had brought down wires. Very comfortable bed, good water pressure with hot shower and good quality linen. Excellent size and well designed accommodation. May not suit those, that have issues getting up stairs. A delightful run family accommodation and would stay again.

The service is good. But the hardware is too bad, there is no hot water for the bath. The door lock is old and there are mosquitoes everywhere in the house. It’s mainly right by the lake. It’s convenient to see the birds. Now I’m changing the hotel. It’s not far away. It’s about two kilometers. The price is half cheaper.

We stayed here before a trip to Yala national park. The hotel property is quaint and charming. We took pictures of monkeys and peacocks near the hotel’s river bank and trees. Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The shower had hot water, but barely any pressure available. Internet was inconsistent and did not work for the first few hours.  The staff were friendly and did their best to communicate with us and meet our needs. They helped us arrange private transportation to and from the international airport and local safaris with third-parties.  We had two meals cooked by our hostess. Our first meal there was excellent with many fresh, local dishes. However, the second meal was simply rice and overcooked chicken, which we struggled to finish. That meal was double the first meal’s price. Also, meal prices were not disclosed until checkout, when we were surprised with a disproportionately large bill, charging us equally for our two meals as our two-night stay in the room. Our fault for not asking first, I suppose, but I felt taken advantage of and it soured our experience.
