Our stay was truly amazing, made even more special by the excellent accommodation and outstanding service we received throughout our visit. From the very beginning, everything was handled seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience.
A big part of what made our trip so smooth and stress-free was the incredible assistance from the manager, Ethen. She was very easy to talk to, approachable, and genuinely attentive to our needs. Even before we arrived, she had already taken care of all the important arrangements for us. From organizing our pick-up at the port to ensuring a comfortable transfer to the hotel, everything was perfectly coordinated. What impressed us even more was how she helped arrange all our tours. We didnât have to worry about planning or logistics at allâevery activity was thoughtfully scheduled, making our trip both convenient and enjoyable. Her effort and dedication really made a difference, and it felt like we were in very capable hands the entire time. Shoutout also to their staff Kate for ensuring our boat tickets.
The accommodation itself was equally wonderfulâclean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing us with the perfect place to rest after our daily activities. Everything about our stay felt organized, relaxing, and enjoyable. Overall, we couldnât have asked for a better experience. The combination of great accommodation and Ethenâs-the manager exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-organized getaway.

Spotless rooms, obviously recently modernised - smelled clean if thatâs possible. Bed comfy sheets and towels clean. Complaints - no kettle in room but available in well equipped shared kitchen..but no one wants to go and get hot water for morning coffee. Next we were in room 301 right next to the kitchen and some selfish westerns decided to have a loud conversation in the kitchen at midnight. Other than that Iâd go back because of its cleanliness but not to room 301.

Simagin_IvanThe resort is nestled in a quiet harbour within a small village just a short distance from Puerto Galera â you can reach the town in about 10 minutes by tricycle for 50 pesos. The property sits right on the waterfront, with its courtyard opening directly onto the bay. The setting is incredibly serene, cosy and picturesque. The grounds feature plenty of relaxing spots: comfortable chairs, sun loungers and hammocks where you can unwind. We especially loved the chair near the large tree â it was the perfect place to relax!
The sea near the resort is a bit murky due to local currents, so not many people swim here. However, this isnât an issue at all, as you can quickly and affordably reach the stunning beaches of Sabang (I highly recommend La Laguna) by tricycle â or even on foot if youâre up for a walk. During low tide, you can explore the seabed right near the hotel. The resort also has a small swimming pool, and despite other guests staying there, we never had any trouble finding space to take a dip.
The rooms are clean and wellâmaintained, featuring a small kitchenette, stylish bathrooms and even a bathtub. We stayed on the ground floor, so we occasionally noticed small ants and once spotted a gecko â but they never caused any inconvenience. Please note that the air conditioning is rather weak, so the room might feel a bit stuffy or not quite cool enough at times. Thereâs both a ceiling fan and a standing fan available, though, and overall the accommodation was comfortable.
The onâsite restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and other meals, with prices typical for a resort area. We were very pleased with the food. The staff are attentive, always smiling and eager to help.
During our weekâlong stay, the resort wasnât crowded, which made for a truly relaxing experience â you really get what you came for. Occasionally, local guests can be a bit noisy, laughing loudly or singing karaoke, which might disturb your sleep or meditation. However, this is not the resortâs fault, and itâs still relatively quiet compared to other spots around Puerto Galera, such as White Beach.
What could be improved:
1) Flipâflops. Itâs odd that a seaside resort doesnât offer free flipâflops like most similar places do â they only rent them out here. Even budget hotels usually provide this small convenience.
2) Charge for outside food. Corkage fees are normal, but charging an extra 150 pesos for any outside food is too much. Even though we werenât charged, the mere existence of such a rule makes the resort look stingy. This rule should be removed.
3) Wi-Fi was dead almost all of the time. Donât rely on it.
Thanks to the Blue Crystal Resort for a nice stay! I highly recommend it.

This is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!

Hera SzQuite fun place to stay . Room is spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable . I would certainly stay again.
Swimming pool is very clean and the restaurant managed by them is very delicious food .
Shower đż water pressure is great , and the only disappointment was no curtain in the shower room even tough I informed the front desk about the issue and the mess it causes every time I showered .
I highly recommend this place .

rave162This stay is a beautiful cottage in the hills of Sabang. It is a climb to get to through narrow staircases. If you have bad knees or lots of luggage it will be difficult to get to. However, the view from the cottage is amazing at sunrise and sunset, overlooking the water. It offers lots of privacy and an escape from the boardwalk/pier area if you want peace and quiet. The Wi-Fi worked well in the room, there was air conditioning, and the toilet was separated from the shower. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. I would suggest purchasing breakfast with the room as it was amazing. They serve both western and Filipino breakfast. Overall a great stay if you can manage the hike up there.

The hotel is average. In the booking they said it has a hair dryer which they didnât have. Even went to ask to the receptionist. The bathroom was so so, the sink water was on a sensor which didnât work properly, was annoying when I had to shave, even brushing teeth was abit difficult. The toilet cover also kept closing and I when I told the receptionist they sended a guy and he taped it which didnât hold for too long. We were 2 and they only gave one shampoo and bath gel. đ¤ˇâď¸They not had a kettle or any other ânormalâ appliances you see in a 3-star hotel. But the bed was comfy, the receptionist was nice and its direct on the beachâŚ

This is my third time staying at this hotel. And sadly, it just doesnât get any better. And they even did a remodel since I was here last. Sad, old hotel that is unfortunately the best that Calapan has to offer. The rooms are clean, the pool is good and the staff very nice, but thatâs about all I can say to the positive. No hot water, little in the way of amenities and the breakfast included with the room is just pathetic. All of this and reasonably expensive by Phillipines standards. I had just come from the Lalaguna Villas in Puerto Galera, so the contrasts were extreme. I am currently at the Manila Hotel, so again the contrasts are extreme. There are few options for a hotel in Calapan, they host many weddings and local events. But seriously, someone should open a decent hotel in a capital city of 140,000.

I wanted to express my gratitude for the outstanding experience during our recent visit. Ate Girly, the receptionist, was incredibly accommodating and kind, ensuring that all our needs were met. Her brother, who offers land tours, also impressed us with his great and pleasing personality, along with offering competitive prices.
Ate Girly went above and beyond by answering all our inquiries and providing valuable suggestions to ensure our tour and stay were worthwhile. Additionally, they assisted us with transportation from the hotel to the port, which was greatly appreciated.
Thank you for making our experience memorable.
