Perfect
PPBPWe chose the homestay for it's secluded location and loved every bit of it! The rooms were fantastic. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect. The bbq experience with the outdoor karaoke setup was great! Sang our hearts out! The view of the bamboo forest from the room coupled with an outdoor balcony made the evenings that much more special to enjoy with our group. The breakfast meals were an absolute delight and the staff made sure to cater exactly as we requested. Transport (via alipay car hail) was a bit of an issue because of the scarcity of taxis in the area, but the auntie at the hotel was kind enough to arrange a taxi through one of her friends. The hotel outdoor area is very spacious and had multiple activities to follow including water gun fights and trampolines. We really did let the kid inside of us run wild this weekend. The fishing experience was fun and educating although we couldn't catch any ourselves. All in all, such a great weekend and will definitely recommend to anyone including foreigners. 5/5 Totally satisfied.

WWangmintingThis hotel is truly beautiful and one of the larger establishments in Moganshan. I particularly loved the lobby and restaurant – they were incredibly lush and green! I rarely see lobbies and restaurants with such abundant greenery and flowers. It felt very chic and fresh, even more photogenic than many of the trendy cafes in Moganshan. Our room was spacious, and we were upgraded to the 'Prague' room. I do have a couple of suggestions: the bed frame was wider than the mattress, and I kept bumping my shins on it, which was painful. Also, the shower only had a rain shower head. The water pressure was great, but it was impossible to rinse off soap suds that splattered further away on the floor, so you'd end up stepping in bubbles when you got out. Finally, the toilet door wasn't fully sealed, which is a bit of an issue if you need privacy.

GGuest UserAn outskirt paradise on the hill. Good for hiking or treking. Impressed by the Italian designed lobby. We were well received by the house keeper Teddy. We were honor to be attended by the owner Ernest Guan who make all guests feel at home. Ever obliging and “Take your time”is his slogan . The western meal is acceptable and the Chinese meal is excellent. We eventually extended our stay to join the night party with many foreigners.
Thanks Ernest to his extra “wood”for comforting us through those chilling nights party.

GGuest UserHighly recommend Novotel Huzhou South Taihu Lake! The overall experience exceeds expectations and must give full marks.
Special thanks to Josie, the duty manager, for his warm and caring service, efficient and smooth check-in, and carefully arranged the complimentary Taihu Lake cruise ship and the small train in the wetland park, the experience was directly full.
The lake view room has a wide view, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are perfect, and the travel is convenient. Cruise boats to enjoy the lake, small trains to visit the wetland, the project is value-for-money and comfortable.
The service is in place and the environment is comfortable. I will choose here next time I come to Huzhou. I really recommend it!

The guesthouse is set in a tranquil environment, surrounded by bamboo forests, and the air is filled with a refreshing bamboo fragrance. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple yet elegant decor. The smart home features throughout were very convenient, and the mattress was soft and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The hygiene was impeccable—no strange odors, and the bathroom was spotless, a dream for anyone with a cleanliness obsession. Breakfast offered a rich variety of freshly prepared hot dishes, made with fresh ingredients, and included local specialties.

JJuliaFI literally hate when I book a room looking at the picture and get something different in reality. I’m a fan of hotsprings , and when I planned this little getaway with my husband, the room with a private outdoor soaking tub caught my eye. According to the photos on Trip.com , the room had a spacious terrace and a cozy corner soaking tub. When we arrived , they gave us some middle room and the soaking tub was right next to neighbors’ one, separated by a short see-through fence, as if we were supposed to bathe all together. When my husband pointed this out to the front desk , they made up some excuse how all the rooms have the same photo on the website and how they can’t change our room saying someone already booked that better room. I can’t confirm but I had a feeling they were lying because I never saw anyone on the terrace of that room.
This unpleasant experience aside, the hotel territory is lovely , they have a glamping area and the swimming pool. Very suitable for families to enjoy . We had a dinner in their restaurant and it was delicious . The Chinese traditional breakfast was included in the room price , it was very fresh and good as well. So in the end I’d still recommend this hotel but if you have a choice better not come during national holidays .

GGuest UserI stayed only for one night, but it was a very nice stay! I chose a separate cottage with a hot tub, the room is big, clean with a very a beautiful view on bamboo shrubs and mountain. I came kinda late, after 18.00, so in the evening I couldn't enjoy the view while bathing, and it's important to note that the hot tub is available only from 15.00 till 22.00, but the administrator helped me and they filled the hot tub with hot water in the morning for me. The breakfast was amazing - very tasty and there was a lot of food. Unfortunately, it's impossible to call Didi taxi from there, but administration helped me to call a taxi.
Also, it's cool that they put out the light at night, so I enjoyed a good sleep at night. The bed was very comfy with big and warm blanket.

Ffang8667This guesthouse is nestled in a mountain ravine, surrounded by bamboo groves. Both its exterior and room design are truly unique. It features a Japanese-style tea room and even a pastoral party setting. The rooms are largely decorated with natural wood, and with ceilings over 3 meters high, they offer a great sense of spaciousness, echoing the surrounding mountains and bamboo forests. The bed was soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast selection was also thoughtfully prepared. The common areas are arranged in a relaxed yet cozy way, just like a large living room at home, and there are plenty of entertainment facilities. Staying here, far from the hustle and bustle, taking a stroll through the mountain bamboo forest, sipping tea, and simply relaxing, feels wonderful. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

GGuest UserThe room had a unique, antique charm, giving off the feeling of a grand old family home from ancient times, complete with a small courtyard. I absolutely loved the ambiance. Getting luggage from the front desk to the room involved a bit of a walk, and the old-fashioned paving made it a bit difficult to pull, but for the sake of the experience, it was acceptable. The hotel was also very close to the parking lot, which was convenient.
The main issue was cleanliness: hair was noticeable everywhere in the room, and the toilet bowl was yellowed. The hygiene standards definitely need improvement.
Even more problematic was breakfast. It was truly terrible, and I'm not sure if it's because it's in a rural area. I've never seen a hotel breakfast with such a limited selection. There was only congee, steamed buns, fried rice, and siu mai – not even beverages like soy milk, juice, coffee, or milk were available. There were seven guests in the restaurant, including us, at the time. We asked the front desk to add fried noodles, but they only cooked a single serving, which felt incredibly stingy. The breakfast experience was really, really poor. I sincerely hope the owner sees this review and makes significant improvements.
If you don't plan on eating breakfast at the hotel, I highly recommend staying here. The room is unique, and it's very close to the parking lot. However, if you need to have breakfast, you absolutely must reconsider.
