The Giraffe Manor Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Huzhou will find that the Giraffe Manor Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. Huzhou Railway Station and Jiaxing Nanhu Airport are located 17km and 66km away respectively. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Huzhou Giraffe Manor, Huixin Valley · San Gui Tea Pavilion and Giraffe Manor Cute Pet Tribe all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Huzhou hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"Facilities: The facilities are relatively old. The shower water in the room kept fluctuating between hot and cold. The telephone was unusable due to a damaged cable, which made calling the shuttle very inconvenient. We booked the Far Mountain Family Room, and the reservation stated it could accommodate three adults, but all the supplies were for two people. When we requested an extra toothbrush cup, we were told the room is for two adults and one child, so there were only two sets of adult toiletries. They kept emphasizing that they could give me a cup, but only a plastic one for children, which was quite frustrating. Although it's advertised as child-friendly, I saw almost no mother-and-baby facilities. Compared to some of the more popular family hotels nowadays, the difference is significant. Hygiene: The second floor of the Far Mountain Family Room was much smaller than expected, and there were small bugs in the room. At breakfast in Lumingxuan, the floor was slippery, and I almost slipped several times. A child at the next table even fell down. Environment: The air in the manor is fresh, and there are many animals and birds living here. Small animals often roam on the paths, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The giraffes are the biggest highlight and quite interesting. However, feeding all the small animals comes with a fee, ranging from 20 to 30 yuan for a small portion, which is really tiny and not good value for money. Service: Breakfast with the giraffes is a major attraction at the Giraffe Manor. We went in the morning hoping to queue for a window seat, but the management was chaotic. There was no queue; finding a window seat was entirely up to luck. Some people would stand by a table or place their bags next to people who were already dining to wait for a spot. There were also people live-streaming on their phones, selling hotel packages in the restaurant, which greatly affected the dining experience. My child needed warm water for milk, but they only had boiling water. When I asked for a bottle of mineral water, the server said the restaurant wasn't part of the hotel and would charge for it. As a family-friendly hotel, the contrast between the live-streamers praising it and the reality was striking. Almost all the entertainment activities in the manor close at 5 PM, so evenings can be quite boring. The scenic shuttle bus is very slow, especially when it rained that day. Staff told us it would arrive in two minutes and we could go downstairs, but we waited with our child in the rain for more than five minutes. In short, every time they said it was coming, it always took a long time to arrive. Welcome fruit: Very fresh and delicious, my child loved the cherry tomatoes. Room MINIBAR: It didn't match the pictures on Trip.com. There were no golden sprouts or other items suitable for young babies. I heard the supplier changed, but the pictures on Trip.com haven't been updated. Summary: The hotel's scenery and outdoor environment are excellent. It's spacious, the air is fresh, there are many small animals, and the giraffes are super cute. If you love small animals and want to get close to giraffes, I recommend coming here. However, for the 1799 yuan we paid for the Far Mountain Family Room this time, I feel it wasn't good value for money. Almost all activities within the scenic area are charged, and some of the complimentary items in the package were free anyway. The most expensive was feeding the small animals; 30 yuan for about 10 carrot sticks, roughly the length of a finger. The internal management, service, and environmental hygiene all need improvement."

"There are many B&Bs in this area, and this one is truly great value for money. It's quite close to the South Gate of the ancient town. The B&B even has an elevator 🛗. There's a balcony on the sixth floor where you can wash and dry clothes, and from the terrace, you can see willows and a small river, which is really pleasant. Nanxun is incredibly beautiful, lovely whether it's raining 🌧️ or not. I'll definitely be back!"

This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"When I visited Huzhou before, my Huzhou friends proudly told me that the Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake Hot Spring Resort was the city's calling card and its pride. Due to time constraints, I couldn't stay there then, but I decided I had to experience it someday. This time, taking advantage of my trip back to China, my spouse and I finally fulfilled that wish. The Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake Hot Spring Resort exceeded our expectations in every way! What particularly impressed us were the dazzling 'Ring of Light' show, the multi-themed outdoor natural hot springs, and the incredibly rich and varied breakfast. Of course, the luxurious and comfortable room, its impeccable cleanliness, and the polite and attentive service from the butler and staff also left us full of praise. As overseas Chinese from Japan, we can say that even in Japan, hotels of this caliber, with such excellent service, are not common. I will definitely recommend the 'Moon Hotel' to my Japanese friends. Our heartfelt thanks to the Moon Hotel for providing us with such a thoroughly satisfying experience."

The Longemont Zoo Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Changxing will find that the Longemont Zoo Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is located approximately 15km from Huzhou Railway Station and 66km from Jiaxing Nanhu Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Dragon Dream Happy Farm, Longemont International Circus and Dragon Dream Animal World - Walking Area all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"Traveling with a friend and her two kids, we chose Changxing Station as it's less than a 2-hour high-speed train ride away. Actually, taking a taxi from Huzhou Station takes about the same time and distance. Whether it's Chimelong, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Kaifeng, Nantong, or now Huzhou, I always feel like I get my money's worth! This review was typed manually, not AI-generated. Pros: 1. **Convenient High-Speed Rail Access:** It's about a 50-minute taxi ride from either Changxing or Huzhou High-Speed Rail Stations to the hotel. 2. **Proximity to Attractions:** The zoo is a mere 5-minute walk away, with KFC right next door and then the zoo itself. 3. **Easy Access to Ancient Town:** The ancient town is a 6-minute taxi ride to its West Gate. While there, we treated the kids to Pizza Hut at full price – their Hawaiian pizza was surprisingly better than other branches. As someone trying to eat low-sugar and low-fat, I couldn't resist having two slices! 4. **Comfortable Beds:** The duvet was perfectly comfortable and not too hot, the bed was silent, and they provided bed rails to prevent children from falling. The twin beds could also be pushed together. 5. **Excellent Service:** The toothbrushes were good quality. If you need extra bottled water, just ask! The hotel staff provided outstanding service, going above and beyond to ensure guests' comfort and satisfaction within their capabilities 👍. The housekeeping staff were gentle, enthusiastic, and maintained appropriate boundaries – thank you! 6. **Great Balcony View:** The balcony offered a good view. While there was an occasional animal smell, I'm used to it since some parts of the zoo itself smell even worse 😄. 7. **Sufficient Itinerary:** One day at the zoo and one day at the ancient town was plenty. My friend and I split up on the second day because she wanted to visit 'Nanxun Ancient Town'. I stayed with the kids at the zoo hotel. I had originally planned to stay at an ancient town hotel but decided it wasn't necessary. After watching most of the fireworks (which finished around 8:40 PM), I just took a taxi from the West Gate, got off across from the zoo, and walked 3 minutes back to the hotel. 8. **Breakfast Department Deserves Special Praise:** The food was delicious, and the selection included high-protein dishes like boiled fish fillets. I tried the Chinese dishes, sushi, steamed buns, wontons, and boiled fish fillets. Even the milk was skimmed, with an option to add sugar, showing that the chef understands health and balanced nutrition. The service was excellent – enthusiastic, accommodating, and always with a smile. There was also a special area for children's handmade food. On Friday, the breakfast chef was patient and loving. On Saturday, however, the chef seemed stressed and didn't smile at all – perhaps they have a fear of children? 😄 9. **Thanks to Butler Xiao An:** Thanks to her, any minor issues were promptly addressed and recorded for future hotel improvements. My off-peak stay was very satisfying, and booking through Ctrip truly provided 'all-the-way support'. 10. **Shout-out to the Zoo's 'Meng Hu' Milk Tea:** The Hong Kong-style milk tea at the zoo had great service. 11. **Clean Zoo Restrooms:** The zoo restrooms were regularly cleaned and well-maintained. Areas for Improvement: 1. **Slow Wi-Fi** 2. **Toilet Seats Lacked Soft-Close Feature** 3. **Some Rooms Had Strong Unventilated Decor Smells:** The smell was even stronger in Nantong (not animal odor). 4. **Poor Soundproofing:** We could hear neighbors unplugging things and even slightly raised voices. 5. **Leaky Bathtub, Pungent Slippers, and Low-Quality Shampoo Scent.**"

This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"This guesthouse is a real gem! The decor has an antique charm, and you can tell the owner is a cultured individual, with many designs balancing artistic flair and practicality. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the location is right by the ancient town's river. The backyard offers a tranquil escape from the bustling front, and there are public spaces like a tea and coffee area, lounge, and dining room. Breakfast was rich and exquisite, and the afternoon tea featured Nanxun's special three-course tea. We even had red bean soup in the evening, and the farewell gifts were wonderful – very thoughtful. The staff were all incredibly warm and dedicated to meeting guests' needs. We stayed in two rooms: Youmo, which has a window directly facing the river, and Youqu, which has its own private bathroom; both have their unique charms. A small suggestion would be to add frosted glass to Youmo's bathroom for more privacy, and to make the extra bed's mattress a bit thicker. The backyard also has a calligraphy practice area and silkworms, showing great attention to detail. Highly recommend!"

"As a five-star hotel, my stay didn't meet expectations. Both the hardware facilities and service details have significant room for improvement. 📍Firstly, the hardware facilities are outdated, and the attention to detail is poor. 1️⃣Poor room experience: There was a noticeable toilet odor in the room, and the soundproofing was extremely poor. I could clearly hear the sound of water pipes and noise from the adjacent room. The family room I booked came with a bunk bed, but the top bunk was uncomfortably low, making it easy to hit your head and posing a safety hazard. The sliding door in the shower had the direction labels reversed, indicating a lack of attention to detail. The balcony door couldn't close properly, affecting both usability and safety. 2️⃣Severely outdated equipment: Electronic devices like the hairdryer and TV were old models, leading to a poor user experience. 3️⃣Disappointing breakfast experience: The breakfast restaurant had a strong greasy smell. After eating, my clothes carried a noticeable odor, which affected dining comfort. 📍Secondly, the service was perfunctory and lacked warmth. While there were no glaring service errors, the entire process felt overly formulaic. From check-in at the front desk and reporting room issues to encountering cleaning staff, the personnel consistently lacked proactive and enthusiastic service awareness, falling short of the service standards expected of a five-star hotel. Overall, the hotel only met basic accommodation standards and showed a clear gap compared to other five-star hotels. I hope the hotel will prioritize facility renovation and service optimization to genuinely enhance the core guest experience."

"After retiring, I often get the urge to revisit places I went to when I was younger. So, on a whim, I came to Nanxun and stayed at Wutong Xiangxie Hotel. I've stayed at these kinds of budget hotels countless times, but this one was by far the most comfortable. The room wasn't huge, but it was spotless. The sheets and duvet were pristine white, and the towels felt brand new, which made me feel very secure using them. The manager, in particular, noticed I had only ordered one breakfast (I must have misunderstood something) and thoughtfully gave me a complimentary second one so I wouldn't be in a difficult situation. The reception staff also prepared coffee, red date tea, green tea, and even cold boiled water for each guest, truly making you feel at home. The breakfast had a great variety and was clean and hygienic. The service staff were warm and attentive. I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends!"

"The room was spacious. The hotel lobby had penguins and some shows, which are great for toddlers, but older kids might not find them as interesting. The price isn't cheap, and we had to pay an extra 50 yuan for our child's admission. We didn't end up watching any shows inside the entertainment complex. Later, we took a taxi to a wetland park, which was much better – natural, quiet, and comfortable. The entertainment complex was incredibly noisy, with speakers and performers everywhere. The performers felt very amateurish and uninteresting. Our room on the 1907 side didn't quiet down until 10 PM because of a loud music show, making it hard to sleep. The overall experience wasn't great. They even tried to give us a gift at checkout for a good review. To be fair, watching the fireworks across the way from the big lawn next to the hotel was pretty good; the high-altitude fireworks were worth it."

MMANGO3132The scenery is nothing to say, very beautiful. Directly above the picture, the water is clear in the evening in the room, you can see the fish swimming, the ducks and geese are in the lake, the color of the lake is very beautiful The traffic is also very convenient. In the city, it is backed by the mountains, so it is very convenient to order takeaway or go out to eat. There is a piano in the lobby of the theme hotel that can be played casually. There is a shuttle bus to the top of the mountain. The scenery is also very beautiful. The cableway sent to our children is too young to sit. The shocking travel shot sent, the little brother took about 20 photos, after the shooting the next day, there are 3 free refinements, look forward to it. The fly in the ointment is that there is no fence and no crib. It is not very friendly for the October-aged baby. It will worry about falling down at night. The staff wanted to help move the sofa to the end of the bed, but the sofa was too long to move. Since it is a newly opened hotel, I hope to match it as soon as possible, so that the baby of the month can rest assured. Don't worry about the big baby

AAnonymous UserThe place was exceptionally clean, and the food was decent. The room facilities were all new, and the provided tissues were of good quality, but the soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great. A few men were playing cards and smoking in the lobby downstairs, which wasn't ideal and disturbed others. The guesthouse does have private rooms for playing cards and mahjong; I'd actually recommend that smokers use those rooms.

GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

AAmomaoI've wanted to visit for over ten years, and this was my first time, bringing my dog along. Right in the lobby, the hotel owner's mixed-breed dog was sprawled in the middle of the entrance, exuding a lazy, 'I'm in charge' vibe. My room was upgraded to a standalone two-bedroom unit with a terrace and living room. With two bedrooms surrounded by lush greenery, I was very pleased. The decor isn't outdated at all. I enjoyed a SPA treatment and had dinner; the crayfish was especially fresh and delicious – truly their signature dish. Xiao Yan at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive; after adding her on WeChat, she kept sending me updates on hotel activities. It was also my dog's first time seeing big horses and black swans. The hotel feels like a grand estate, and I'll definitely be returning many times. I'm sure it will get even better now that Trip.com has acquired it.

HHefuyaoTo be honest, this was my first time staying at a Banyan Tree property, and I chose the one in Anji. I won't go on about the good points, but I do have a few areas I think could be improved. Firstly, the infinity pool being closed when it was over 30 degrees Celsius is questionable. Secondly, after swimming in the indoor pool, there were absolutely no towels available, not even a single one, and no bottled water either. Perhaps this was due to the off-season. Thirdly, during breakfast on the second day, my child found a hair in a pan-fried bun, which might have been due to it being freshly made. The dinner at both the Chinese and Thai restaurants was pretty good, and the butler was indeed very enthusiastic. The hotel environment was also quite good.

GGuest UserAfter the May Day holiday, and before my maternity leave ended, I finally got to visit naked Castle, a place I'd been dreaming of for a long time. In short: it truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best, if not *the* best, luxury resorts in China! It's not far from Shanghai, so I can definitely see myself going back often! The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the scenery! Driving up the winding mountain road to the peak, and then stepping into our Cliff Suite to be greeted by breathtaking mountain views – it felt like my soul was instantly liberated from its shackles. All I wanted to do was sit on the bamboo chair on the balcony and simply unwind. Then there's the famous ancient castle itself. Although it's a renovation, it remarkably captures its original essence, while the interior beautifully blends modern aesthetics with cultural heritage. Every brick, every tile, every door, every window is worth admiring. The path leading from our room to the castle was like something out of a fairytale. Secondly, the overall service quality was outstanding. From the front desk, shuttle staff, and restaurant servers to the housekeeping team, everyone was highly professional and efficient. Our dedicated guest relations specialist, Xiao Chen, was particularly attentive and thoughtful. We were traveling with our 5-month-old baby, and the hotel had already prepared a crib and assigned us a perfectly located room, making it easy to get to the restaurant and the castle. Despite the hotel having been around for some years, it's incredibly well-maintained and feels as good as new, which is a rare find among domestic resorts! We've already made plans to return in autumn when the leaves change color, to enjoy the castle's beauty in a different season!

Outstanding
GGuest UserAnji has a dense network of hotels and guesthouses, making the choice incredibly difficult before our trip. After comparing many options online, we finally settled on the ”Fulan” room type at this guesthouse, which appears to be on the highest floor. The moment the door opened, my husband and I were overjoyed, praising the room's beauty: lush green bamboo groves and three large floor-to-ceiling windows! It was simply the perfect escape from the city for relaxation! The receptionists were incredibly nice. They created a service group before our check-in to help with our luggage and direct parking – so thoughtful and attentive! A big thumbs up! The only downside was the lack of an elevator; it felt a little awkward asking them to carry things up the stairs whenever we wanted something. The room had a Marshall sound system and other amenities. Connecting to Bluetooth and playing soothing music while soaking in the hot spring was incredibly relaxing! A few minor suggestions: 1. The bathroom could have two floor mats, one for the hot spring area and one for the shower. It's quite slippery after coming out of the hot spring. 2. The bathroom leak wasn't very effective; water would overflow if you showered for too long. 3. For this price and environment, it would be even better if the room had a coffee machine and coffee cups. It would be much more convenient to have coffee in the room or on the terrace in the morning, instead of having to go downstairs and bother the front desk every time. 4. I hope the breakfast could be more varied, with more hot options. Overall, I was very satisfied with this weekend trip! I will definitely come again!

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room was clean, and the WeChat concierge was very responsive. The resort is massive, and the activity schedule was quite good, catering to both teenagers and young children. They offer free recreational cycling, free parking, and daily housekeeping. The spring-specific bamboo shoot digging and water biking experiences were enjoyable. The bonfire party, held every Saturday, helped create a lively atmosphere. I was particularly pleased with the room. They had thought of everything: screens on the windows and doors, air conditioning, a dryer, and a drying rack. My three-day, two-night stay was very comfortable. It's truly pet-friendly, and all the staff throughout the park were great with dogs. The rules for activity areas and projects were also clear. Dog owners don't feel discriminated against. The in-room dining was also fantastic – perfect for lazy people tired after a day of activities. The prices were surprisingly affordable, even cheaper and more hygienic than eating at outside restaurants. My only suggestion is for the gravel paths from the parking lot to the room cabins to be paved with concrete or asphalt; walking on the gravel is quite tiring. Breakfast was simple, offering both Chinese and Western options for a quick meal before heading out for activities. Overall, I was very satisfied. If I get the chance to visit Deqing again, I would definitely consider staying here.

MM702023****A big thank you to the butler and hotel staff! From the delightful room upgrade upon check-in to the thoughtful and attentive butler service throughout our stay, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!

__CFT010000001607****My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep. However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
