Anonymous UserThe place was exceptionally clean, and the food was decent. The room facilities were all new, and the provided tissues were of good quality, but the soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great. A few men were playing cards and smoking in the lobby downstairs, which wasn't ideal and disturbed others. The guesthouse does have private rooms for playing cards and mahjong; I'd actually recommend that smokers use those rooms.

Our four-day, three-night stay was truly a leisurely and delightful experience. Upon arrival, the guesthouse owner (a lovely lady) immediately offered us Nanxun's special three-course tea ceremony, and every single tea was delicious – even better quality than what I tasted at other tea houses in the scenic area. The guesthouse is located within the scenic area, yet in a quiet corner, with two docks nearby, making it super convenient for sightseeing. Every day after exploring, I'd sit by the door, sipping tea and watching people pass by on the bridge, enjoying the momentary tranquility of the ancient town alongside the locals. It truly felt like an ideal life. The room was spacious, clean, and bright, and if you're lucky, you might even make eye contact with a little cat jumping onto the eaves from your window! It met all my expectations for an ancient town getaway, and 'Tangyuan' (the cat that came to 'work' every day) was great company. I definitely want to visit again if I get the chance!

Booking this guesthouse perfectly compensated for my poor decision to visit during the busiest National Day period.
The location is superb, right in the heart of the scenic area. Over two days, we spent half a day exploring the northern part at night and half a day in the south, with the rest of the time spent relaxing. Restaurants, beverage shops, and numerous small stores are right outside the door, and the sculling boat pier is just across the bridge. It's ideal for elderly people and children who need afternoon naps, as well as young people looking for a relaxed, laid-back trip.
Upon entering, I saw the huge koi in the courtyard and lively yellow-margined turtles, which made me think the host must be very attentive to detail. And indeed, after staying two nights, my suspicions were confirmed. The environment is elegant, the scenery is delightful, and opening the window reveals picturesque canals and homes. The room itself has complete modern amenities, clean and high-quality.
What's most commendable is that the owner's family, including the cleaning auntie, are all incredibly kind – a rare find in my many years of travel. They were friendly, generous, and thoughtful, offering touring advice and occasionally bringing us fruits and snacks.
Before coming, I read a comment saying the toiletries were imported and that elderly guests couldn't understand the labels. Now, tags have been added to label them. This attention to detail shows how truly dedicated they are to operating their business and listening to feedback.
Aside from the hot weather, it was an almost perfect Mid-Autumn Festival family outing. A fantastic guesthouse that I've already recommended to friends and family.

Yiluxiaopao@This guesthouse was the most satisfying and exceeded my expectations during my trip to Anji. The biggest impression was the owner's concept of ”seven rooms, seven realms” and ”one room, one world.” There are only seven rooms in total, and each room offers a completely different experience. Some have a European retro style, while others have a strong Chinese aesthetic; it's clear that the design and decoration have been carefully considered. My room was called ”Wangshu,” and there were also rooms called ”Evening Glow” and ”First String.” All seven room names refer to the moon in ancient Chinese poetry, corresponding to the guesthouse name ”One Moon” and the room's style—a clever touch worth appreciating. The guesthouse's decor, facilities, bedding, and toiletries were all excellent, comparable to a five-star hotel. Yet, the owner provided warm and personalized service, patiently answering and helping with any questions—something you wouldn't experience in a hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality guesthouse!

Hello there!
I had a pretty good stay at Lize Hotel overall.
Check-in was impressively smooth, even with two bicycles and using a passport, the staff handled everything quickly and efficiently.
The room was clean and pleasant. It’s not luxurious, but it was comfortable and had everything I needed for a short stay.
The location is definitely a highlight. You just cross the road and you’re right in Huzhou’s main tourist area, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
That said, the service could use some improvement. There was no laundry machine available, and when I requested extra towels, the staff initially refused. The breakfast was fairly basic and not particularly appealing.
Still, despite a few hiccups, Lize Hotel is a solid option if you're visiting Huzhou and want a well-located, comfortable place to stay. Just don't expect too much in terms of amenities or service.

This is a homestay in the mountains. The air is super good. The boss family is very amiable. The farmhouse dishes are also delicious. We ordered a bacon stew, which is very generous and delicious. Especially the local chicken they raised is very fresh. The room facilities are all smart, the sanitation is very clean, the room is very bright, there are floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the mountain view by pushing the window, and it is strongly Amway this homestay.

Originn is on the edge of NanXun Ancient Town, no need to drag your luggage on those uneven stone road as typical in China ancient town. I can get into Originn from the car park to access its back door.
The front is facing the river of ancient town. Room is small, and next to reception hall on upper floor (the lower floor is tidbits shop) . Noise isolation is poor and can hear people talking in the reception area.
Originn doesn't have boiled water, but can get it from another hotel across the car park.
Location is superb, can easily roam around the ancient town day and night, and easily go to nearby cheaper restaurants, bakery and grocery outside the ancient town.
If going back after 9pm, need to use the back door, which requires card access or password, sometimes might not work.

I chose the Platinum Hotel when I visited Huzhou, and the location was absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Yishang Street and Aishan Square, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors, comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing, so I slept very well. The front desk staff were warm and polite, check-in was quick, and they patiently answered all my questions. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, plenty of hot water, and stable water pressure. Overall, it was great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Huzhou. Highly recommended!

Guest UserFirst time going to Nan Xun Old town with luggage. The road to the hotel is killing me as the uneven bricks road. When reaching the hotel around 12pm, the hotel owner (boss) allowed me to check in and upgraded my room. The owner is a straight person and doesn't like to talk much. After several conversations, he is willing to share what to play and where to eat. The room included a hanfu experience. The owner asked me to give it a try without any make up (additional RMB 100). I decided to add on make up without a photographer (RMB 99/ 168) with photographer service. As I stay in the hotel, I can return the Han Fu the next day. Great deal for experience but don't expect good quality Han Fu (limited). Originally wanted to try Qing Han Fu but ended up trying Miao zu clothes. Nice pic indeed.
Downside: room very dim. The hotel is a bit old style but matches the old town. No lift , hotel located at level 2. Very basic room. Amenities need to be taken from the front office.
Make up can look for Chuan Yi. She is very patient and nice. Will accommodate my request and help me to make up plus decorate my hair style to match the Han Fu. Worth your penny for the stay!!!

The guesthouse is nestled in the mountains, with incredibly fresh air. It's very close to the Moganshan scenic area, and the overall decor has a rustic, mountain-style feel. There are many photo opportunities in every corner, and the lighting in the restaurant is also very nice. The owner is warm and attentive, providing breakfast in the morning – a very thoughtful touch.
