Let's start with the downsides. The food could definitely be improved; breakfast was too salty, and the freshness of the ingredients needs work. Room cleanliness had a few issues, and the towels had a strong disinfectant smell. Now for the positives. The overall environment and design were great, and the service was excellent. Staff proactively asked if we needed anything. The front desk lady, in particular, didn't make excuses when we raised issues; she immediately offered solutions and anticipated guest needs. Restaurant staff were also observant and quick to offer help. They truly excel at putting people first. I'll definitely return in the future, hoping for even more improvements.

Traveling with my family, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a courtyard hotel tucked away in the old city. It's incredibly close to the scenic spots, just a short walk to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle. The hotel is very picturesque, perfect for photos, and the rooms are meticulously clean, making for an exceptionally comfortable stay. The front desk staff were wonderfully warm and attentive, enthusiastically recommending local Kaifeng delicacies and travel tips. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Our overall stay experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely prioritize choosing this place again on my next visit to Kaifeng.

The room matched the pictures perfectly! I really loved the simple yet stylish decor. All the facilities were beautifully arranged and the cleanliness was impeccable, which made me feel very comfortable staying there. The location is convenient for getting around. The front desk lady even upgraded my room and gave me a complimentary breakfast. It was a fantastic stay overall!

This was my family's first trip to Qingming Riverside Landscape Park in Kaifeng, and we had both seniors and young children with us. If the elderly in your group can't handle many stairs, I highly recommend this hotel. It has free parking, and while it's not the closest to the scenic area (hotels right by the entrance often don't have parking, or you'd still have to park in the same lot and walk with your luggage), it's the top choice if you're driving! Another reason is that this hotel has an elevator, unlike other nearby hotels that require using stairs, which isn't ideal for seniors. The breakfast, though relatively simple, I found to be quite healthy and comprehensive. It included hot and cold dishes, bread, milk, Hu La Tang (spicy soup), and fruit, which met our needs. If you're taking a boat tour, this hotel is close to the Qishengjiao pier, so you can get off there and head back to the hotel. There's a pontoon bridge on the way from the hotel to Qingming Riverside Park – please be careful when crossing it! Finally, a big shout-out to the front desk ladies. They were proactive in greeting us, very enthusiastic, and always ready to answer any questions we had. Free parking! Plenty of bottled water!

The hotel's location is great, right next to Gulou Night Market, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you can see Daxiangguo Temple. It's also not far from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, about 2-3 kilometers, and a taxi ride costs less than 10 RMB. The room is exceptionally spacious and very clean, with complete facilities including a smart toilet, Tmall Genie (smart speaker), massage chair, bathtub, and a large projector. The hotel even provides bathtub liners, bubble bath liquid, foot soaking tubs, and heated eye masks. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can come back to the room, get a massage, take a bath, or soak your feet to relax. During the day, the lobby offers watermelon and small snacks, and in the evening, there are cocktails and late-night supper. The service is very warm and welcoming; whether it's the front desk staff or the cleaning aunties, everyone is always smiling and ready to help. I'm very satisfied with this trip!

This is probably the closest hotel to the east gate of Wansuishan Mountain. Traveling with a child, choosing this hotel over a guesthouse was definitely the right decision. Cleanliness and hygiene are basic standards, and after a tiring day of playing, having the hotel just across the street was perfect. The hotel staff were very polite, and the front desk lady was lovely and very responsive. I'd like to specifically mention that the breakfast here is excellent, very suitable for children, and also great for adults who are health-conscious. We initially booked for 2 nights, and the service, environment, and location were all good, so we extended our stay for another 2 nights. If we come back to visit again, we will definitely stay here. PS: I wasn't quite used to the local Henan food, so the hotel breakfast really helped fill that gap.

The room is very regional and very clean. When traveling with children, you should choose a hotel with a clean and hygienic environment. The children were very excited and loved it. The service was also very good. The lady at the front desk was very gentle. The location is also very convenient, very close to the scenic spots. Breakfast is very rich and tastes good 👍

The Atour Hotel (Henan University Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden) was a fantastic experience! The location is excellent, close to the scenic area and very convenient for getting around. The room was spacious and bright, and the hygiene was top-notch. The Atour bedding was incredibly comfortable for sleeping. The front desk service was attentive, and they offer a free laundry room and gym, so the amenities are complete. The overall ambiance is quiet and elegant, blending a scholarly atmosphere with the charm of the Song Dynasty. Especially the breakfast – it was abundant and delicious! Highly recommended!

The room was beautiful, with a carp pond right outside the window and a small courtyard door leading to a pavilion. The housekeeper was very friendly. The backyard of the property overlooks the Bian River, and it's very close to the welcoming gate of Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, perfect for a riverside stroll. Breakfast was also great, the spicy soup was delicious, and so were the vegetables. They even provide disposable bath towels, which is a real convenience. My only suggestions would be to have a larger duvet, as it was a bit small for two people, and perhaps some small wooden signs to guide guests to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, otherwise it's easy to forget and always use the main entrance, haha.

The hotel's location is excellent. From the hotel, it takes only a few minutes to walk to Qingming Riverside Park, and Wansui Mountain is also close to the hotel. For tourists like me who want to enjoy the scenic spots and don't want to spend too much time on commuting, it is very friendly. After playing every day, you can quickly return to the hotel to rest, recharge your energy, and prepare for the next day's trip. Moreover, the hotel is surrounded by convenient transportation, and all kinds of living facilities are available, making shopping and dining very convenient. However, the hotel's breakfast is disappointing. At this price range, I expected to enjoy a rich and varied breakfast of high quality, but the actual experience was quite different. The variety of meals is scarce, and the food served every day is almost the same, lacking in characteristics. Although the hotel's breakfast needs to be improved, its superior geographical location still gives it a great advantage in travel convenience. I hope the hotel can pay attention to the breakfast issue, enrich the variety of meals, improve the quality of food, and provide guests with a better stay experience.
