Kaifeng Hotels with Gym

A serendipitous discovery: this amazing guesthouse! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its enormous garden – the lush greenery was beautifully arranged, creating a tranquil oasis in the city. Every snapshot was a masterpiece of ambiance. The living room furniture was incredibly stylish, both in terms of quality and aesthetics, with tasteful details throughout. The room featured a separate bathtub and a huge terrace; at night, watching the light and shadows play in the distance was pure bliss – I didn't want to leave! Even more delightful was the butler's attentive service. His gentle and considerate approach made the entire trip exceptionally comfortable. Located near Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and the Imperial River, the location is superb. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kaifeng, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

The hotel was quite good. The mattress was just right, not too soft nor too hard, and the pillows were fluffy and soft. The room had excellent soundproofing, making it incredibly quiet at night, allowing me to fully unwind from my travels and sleep very soundly. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and the hot water was stable with good pressure. The toiletries were of good quality. The hotel service was very responsive; any requests were handled promptly and effectively!

This is, hands down, the most convenient hotel for visiting Wansui Mountain. When you're tired, you can pop back to your room to cool down and rehydrate in no time – it's literally just across the road, less than a 5-minute walk. A special shout-out to the front desk lady, who was not only beautiful but also incredibly kind! She upgraded us to a family room and even gave us complimentary breakfast. After enjoying some authentic Hulatang, we could gaze at the Kaifeng Iron Pagoda and the East Gate of Wansui Mountain right from our window. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Kaifeng.

Hotel location is good (very close to the high-speed rail station, 200 meters in front is the museum and the main road to and from Zhengzhou and Kaifeng Zhengkai Avenue). The hotel is fully equipped and very new. The setting in the lobby and guest rooms on the first floor is thoughtful and intimate. The service of the staff is also very good, making people feel at home. Self-driving parking is free. Booked family room, the room is very large and spacious, the decoration is very warm and chic, there are two beds, the bed is very wide is 1.5 meters wide. In short, if you come to Kaifeng again, you will book again.

Overall, the hotel is quite good, definitely one of the better ones in Kaifeng. At night, when the lights come on, it looks very grand. From the balcony of our 7th-floor room, we had a fantastic view of Jinming Pool. The breakfast selection was also rich and varied. The facilities are slightly dated, but only slightly, and it didn't affect our stay. For ordering food, a robot delivered it, which was very convenient. However, the only downside was the strong musty smell. You could smell it as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, and it was also present in the room, along with a high level of humidity. Everything else was fine.

Very satisfied with my stay at Kyriad Kaifeng! The hygiene was excellent, and the room was clean and bright. The service was enthusiastic, and the hotel's location is fantastic – within walking distance to Longting Park and Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. The bedding was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water, which are the things I care about most when I travel!

This hotel also has free parking, just in the yard at the door. Very convenient. Finally, let me talk about my feelings about traveling to Kaifeng this time. Kaifeng taxis are regular, food and drink are cheap, and the ticket prices for scenic spots are reasonable. This is the first time I have been moved by the excellent tourism environment and the enthusiasm of the citizens of a city. Kaifeng will definitely be popular.

Overall: Excellent, my top choice for future stays in Kaifeng. Pros: To be specific, the environment and facilities absolutely blow other Kaifeng hotels out of the water. The design is very strong without sacrificing practicality. The suite's internal layout is quite reasonable. Breakfast felt pretty good, especially the dining environment. The high ceilings in the room were very comfortable, giving a sense of space, and the decor details were very high-end. Cons: The living room and bedroom in the suite face a low shrub wall, but there's also a path outside where people can walk, so privacy is a bit of an issue. If you don't close the curtains and someone happens to walk by, you're like a fish in a fishbowl. The welcome dessert platter was exquisite, but not tasty, and it was left in the room from check-in until check-out without being removed. The sliding closet door wouldn't close completely and would slowly slide open on its own (a bit eerie at night). There were also some hygiene issues, but I've already provided feedback to the hotel, and I'm confident they will improve. Despite a few issues, the hotel's environment, location, facilities, and service attitude are all superb. There's no reason for me not to choose it again. One of the hotel's entrances is right at the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and the other is at the Wansui Mountain entrance. Those visiting Kaifeng should definitely give it a try; I don't think you'll find a better option.

The guest rooms were spotlessly clean, and the Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience bed was so soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the amenities were high quality. The staff were friendly and courteous throughout my stay, check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled promptly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the gym and pool facilities were well-maintained. The location is convenient for getting around, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit!

Overall, my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton was a bit disappointing. I've stayed at many Hilton, DoubleTree, and Hampton by Hilton hotels in various cities, but this experience fell short of expectations. Location: It's right opposite Kaifeng Museum, which is super convenient for museum visits. However, it's a bit far from other tourist attractions. On the upside, electric scooters are readily available there, making it easy to get around. Environment: The shower in the first room I was given was leaking. After discussing it with the staff, they changed my room. A big thank you to the front desk lady who worked hard to sort it out – her attitude and service were absolutely 💯. Service: Besides the initial 'hiccup' during check-in, on the second day, when we returned, our room door hadn't been closed properly. After speaking with them and confirming, it seemed no one had entered or left the room while we were out, other than for cleaning, and nothing was missing. Still, such an oversight made us a little uncomfortable. Thankfully, the hotel handled the issue well, so I grudgingly forgave it. Thanks also for allowing us a late check-out.
