LLinerxiaodingdangI took my mom and kids to Bipenggou for Christmas and chose this hotel. The Tibetan-style lobby was incredibly grand and unique. Every time we came back from outside, I'd just sit on the sofa, watching the dog and the kids play around – it was so relaxing. The room was spacious and very clean, and every night they offered white fungus soup and small snacks. On our last day, we even had hot pot and barbecue at the hotel, which was really enjoyable. The hotel's breakfast was exceptionally rich, and there was a large vegetable garden they cultivated themselves in the backyard.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

MMiyuMiyuFor our two-day trip to Lixian, we chose to stay at Xiangjiagazong Luxury Scenic Resort, drawn by its stunning scenery and numerous positive reviews. To start with, my conclusion is: while the hardware (facilities) is indeed excellent, the soft services don't quite match the price.
The hotel is located halfway up the mountain; you need to take a detour from the main road to reach it, so driving is more convenient. It provides two small parking areas and EV charging stations. Both the views and room facilities are exactly as advertised: clean, tidy, high-quality, and clearly designed with great thought and expense. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the lush mountains, and the morning mist creates a truly breathtaking scene. Breakfast was generous, served à la carte (not buffet-style) directly by staff, which was a pleasant experience.
However, the service left much to be desired. On arrival day, I contacted the front desk for luggage assistance, but after a long wait, no one showed up, so I had to carry my bags uphill myself. During check-in, there was no dedicated staff member; an auntie who also handles cleaning duties processed our check-in. The so-called ”butler” service wasn't via WeChat but a regular phone call, and their explanation of nearby walkable attractions was unclear, which was a bit awkward. On the first night, I felt a bit unwell and contacted the butler for cold medicine or altitude sickness medication. Unfortunately, these were not readily available, and we had to purchase an oxygen tank at our own expense. The ”Xiaodu” voice assistant in the room seemed smart but didn't genuinely integrate with the room facilities. The scenic cafe on the 4th floor had beautiful views, but on both occasions we went up, there were no staff, just an empty room.
We didn't encounter the ”warm and hospitable owner” mentioned in many reviews; the owner never appeared throughout our stay, and there was a noticeable lack of a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the hotel's hardware and scenery are indeed impeccable, making it a great place for photos and relaxation. However, the service experience and attention to detail fell short. The price, several times higher than neighboring hotels, didn't reflect a corresponding value in service. If you're coming purely for the scenery, it's worth a try, but if you're seeking a high-quality, comprehensive experience, you might be slightly disappointed.

MM352304****I picked this hotel randomly, and the stay was great! 1. I was traveling with my parents, and the staff proactively offered us breakfast vouchers and toiletries. 2. The bonfire party was lively, and a dancing lady enthusiastically invited us to join. 3. The heating was already on when we entered the room, so there was no waiting. 4. They even gave us bottled water when we checked out. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely come back next time!

The surrounding area is very quiet, making it suitable for a peaceful stay amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel itself is elegant with its small bridges and flowing water. The rooms are quiet and clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and offered complimentary afternoon tea. Sitting on the viewing platform, enjoying the breeze and some snacks was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, featuring specialties like butter tea and boneless chicken feet.

GGuest UserThis hotel left a very deep impression on me. First, the hotel's location is excellent, close to the city center, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping centers, making it very convenient for getting around. The room's interior is simple and elegant, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows and bedding were spotless, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was well-equipped, with plenty of hot water and quality toiletries.
As for service, the front desk staff was friendly, and check-in and check-out were very quick. The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast, which was varied and delicious. What touched me most was that I once forgot my phone in the room, and when I returned, the staff had thoughtfully taken care of it. This thoughtful service was truly heartwarming.
The only minor drawback was that the elevator sometimes took a while to get to, but given the hotel's high traffic, this is understandable. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the city. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation!

AAngeeeeeecThe place was deep in the mountains so it was a bit difficult to get to without a car, but once arrived, it was an expensive looking hotel. However, the service leaves much to be desired. For an expensive hotel, there were no service staff to get our luggages, and after checkin, there were no directions on where the lift was. We booked 2 rooms, and the other room they gave was in another building, which required a buggy. If it’s a family booking, the hotel should have informed us beforehand that there would be such an inconvenience. Breakfast was good, the room was nice, but there was also only one bathroom for a room that fits so many so that’s something that could have been thought through as well. Apart from that, the public hot spring in the hotel was great and beautiful, and the breakfast spread was great and have many variety. The surrounding area was beautiful for pictures, so that’s a plus too.

AAnonymous UserThe private onsen was great, you could draw hot water anytime for a soak. The room was a bit old but very well-maintained and looked clean. Breakfast was a bit simple but enough to eat. Dinner at the restaurant was decent. I have to commend the shuttle service; it was always available to pick up and drop off at the room, which was much better than another hotel we stayed at. The room faced the snowy mountains directly, and the floor heating was just right. I'll definitely come back next time it snows.
