Full score 💯 First of all, the decoration of the homestay is very tasteful, and it is also very close to Hailuogou on foot. It is also very convenient to eat around. Secondly, the service of the homestay is simply too good. It should be the ceiling of all hotels, far beyond those so-called star hotels. My sister had a flu on the way. In the evening, the boss personally helped us to buy medicine and porridge in the town. I took care of it. I am really grateful here. I can feel the boss’s intentions and treat our unmasked guests as relatives. I believe such a homestay will get better and better.

A particularly satisfying stay experience, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was so beautiful to lie down and see the snow-capped mountains. It rained on the day of check-in and thought that I couldn't see the snow-capped mountains. The next day I opened the curtains and it was The yard is also a major feature. It is very beautiful. The owner's eldest sister is very enthusiastic and also sent the plums picked in the yard to taste. Come back next winter.

Posted on Jun 17, 2024|Holiday Hot Spring Room (Double Bed) (Balcony).
Guest UserI came to Hailuogou to relax on the weekend. As soon as I booked the B&B, the proprietress called to tell me the weather and asked if I needed a pick-up from Moxi Ancient Town. After arriving, the staff immediately helped with the suitcases and were very enthusiastic. Also, the soup pot at the B&B is really delicious, highly recommended! ! ! The breakfast in the morning was also very rich. The landlady was worried that we wouldn't be full and kept asking us if we wanted to add more. It really felt like the warmth of home. The environment is also worth mentioning. When you walk through the door, you will feel the tranquility of a small bridge and flowing water. The vegetation is lush and the birds are chirping one after another! Next time I come to Hailuogou Tongtang will be my first choice!

Gululudegululu🌟 Environment: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Waking up in the morning and drawing back the curtains reveals distant snow-capped mountains shimmering in the sunlight, shrouded in mist—a truly ethereal scene.
🏠 Room: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The bedding is of very high quality, making for a very comfortable sleep. The room is also well-insulated, ensuring a quiet night.
🍲 Dining: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The guesthouse offers a plentiful breakfast, including porridge, side dishes, bread, and eggs, all freshly made and delicious. If you inform the owner in advance, they can also provide lunch and dinner.
🧖♀️ Hot Spring: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The hot spring is one of the highlights of this guesthouse. The hot spring pool is conveniently located in the courtyard. Soaking in the hot springs with snow-capped mountains in sight is an absolutely wonderful experience! The water quality is excellent, with a slightly rotten egg smell. After soaking, your skin feels smooth and incredibly comfortable. The only thing to note is that the hot spring pools are quite hot, so fill them beforehand. In the evening, after your soak, you can relax on a lounge chair in the courtyard, enjoy some hot tea, and gaze at the stars – it's truly relaxing.
💁🏻♂️ Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The owner is incredibly welcoming; they'll help you with any problems immediately.
🚗 Transportation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The guesthouse is located in a slightly remote area, and the road up the mountain is quite rough. If you don't have a high-clearance vehicle, be cautious. It takes about 20 minutes to drive there from Moxi Town. If you don't want to drive, you can contact the owner in advance, and they will arrange pick-up and drop-off, but advance booking is required.

Here's the updated, longer review for 海螺沟金山摄影酒店 (Hailuogou Jinshan Photography Hotel) including the hot springs:

”I had a fantastic stay at the Hailuogou Jinshan Photography Hotel! The service was exceptional — the staff were warm, attentive, and truly caring throughout our visit. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-prepared, making for a very relaxing stay after a day of exploring. The hot springs were a real highlight — so soothing and perfect for unwinding while enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. I also highly recommend the hotel restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. Whether you're visiting for the stunning glacier views, the hot springs, or just a peaceful getaway, this hotel really delivers on all fronts. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This was my husband's favorite accommodation on the entire Sichuan West loop trip. Coming from Daofu Longdeng Ranch requires crossing a mountain; the road is winding and foggy at night, visibility is less than 5 meters. It's highly recommended to arrive during the day and avoid traveling at night, as cattle and sheep frequently block the path, making it very dangerous. The hot spring is natural! However, the private hot spring baths for twin rooms are located outside the rooms in a common area. Single rooms require walking through this area to reach the baths, but the baths have curtains! The private hot spring baths for single rooms are more private.
The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable!
Smart toilet and central air conditioning!
Surrounded by mountains, with birdsong and fragrant flowers!
Good air quality and quiet for sleeping!
A la carte dining is available, and there's a kitchenette.
Breakfast is included, and free parking and car wash are provided!
The housekeepers are a husband and wife team!
We'll definitely come back next time!
You can tell it's a natural taurine hot spring by looking at my daughter's silver bracelet!
There are many other hot spring guesthouses nearby! I wandered around for a bit, and most of the hot springs were public, but this one was the best – one private hot spring for each family! And the pools were huge!

This guesthouse stay was an absolute unexpected delight during my recent trip. From the moment I stepped into the courtyard, I was completely captivated by its thoughtful design and cozy atmosphere – I simply have to rave about it!
First and foremost, the highly anticipated hot spring was an absolute godsend for relieving travel fatigue. The room type we booked came with a private, independent hot spring bath. The tub was impeccably clean, and the water was crystal clear. The freshly drawn hot spring water emanated a gentle steam, and getting closer, you could even catch a faint natural sulfur scent – clearly the real deal. In the evening, drawing the courtyard curtains and soaking in the warm bath, watching the sunset slowly descend, all while sipping a hot tea, felt like all the accumulated stress and fatigue from daily life were carried away by the spring water. Every muscle and joint relaxed; that feeling of tranquility was truly indescribable. Soaking at night was even more romantic; you could look up at the starry sky with only the sounds of insects and flowing water in your ears – peaceful and therapeutic. This is what a vacation should be like.
Breakfast on the second day was equally heartwarming. The biggest surprise was the 'Nine-Compartment Palace' style breakfast arrangement! Both the presentation and the sense of occasion were top-notch. Nine delicate small dishes were neatly arranged on a wooden tray, each one showcasing incredible care. The soft and smooth white congee, paired with their homemade crunchy pickled radishes and appetizing savory pickles, instantly awakened our taste buds. The freshly steamed sweet potatoes and corn had a natural sweetness. This nine-compartment arrangement was both rich and minimized waste, balancing sweet and savory, meat and vegetables. Every bite was a different delicious experience, making us feel incredibly happy. Just this level of thoughtfulness deserves full marks!
Beyond that, the guesthouse's attention to detail was exceptional: anti-slip slippers and special bathrobes for the hot springs were provided in the room, and even the toiletries were branded. This entire stay was truly impeccable – natural hot springs, a heartwarming breakfast, and thoughtful service. Every aspect resonated with me. I've already recommended this guesthouse to all my friends, and I definitely plan to return for another holiday to fully enjoy this slow-paced time!

This is a well-managed, full-service hotel located in Moxi Town. The facilities are comprehensive, and the staff provides excellent service. The hotel's hot spring water is fantastic, and being surrounded by mountains makes for a very relaxing soak. It's also super convenient for taking kids to Hailuogou to play in the snow.
