We were so impressed by the lady who greeted us—she was incredibly helpful and kind, always on hand to assist us with anything we needed. The room itself was the cleanest we've found in China, and our stay was an absolute pleasure. We truly felt right at home. We highly recommend it! The original plan was to find a good B&B to buffer my energy on the way back to Chengdu from western Sichuan, so I accidentally chose this one. Judging from the layout of the B&B, the owner is a person with taste, so the overall style of the B&B is designed to return to nature. Although the room is old-fashioned, the items used are all of their own brands. For example, the toiletries are from L'Occitane, the hair dryer is from Switzerland 🇨🇭Valera, the clothes hanger has a heat drying function, and the drinking water is from the water dispenser. , the bathroom is made of wooden materials, so there is a woody smell in the bathroom. In short, it is light luxury and low-key. It's the kind I like. The day before we checked in, the boss took the initiative to confirm with me the check-in time and whether we needed him to wait for us at the bottom of the mountain (because the mountain road is indeed difficult to drive). Since we rented a car in Sichuan, we didn't need to bother him to go down the mountain to greet us. . But he had secretly put the hot spring water for us while we were having dinner. The owner even upgraded our room because we were a family of three. They also provided complimentary fruit and coffee. The public areas and courtyard are meticulously arranged, with lush greenery and flowers. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows frame the snowy mountains and garden like a giant landscape painting. Open the window to greenery, look up to snow – the ambiance is absolutely incredible. ♨️ Divine Hot Spring Experience The natural glacial hot spring is simply amazing! Private rooms have hot springs piped in, allowing you to soak in the steamy pool with the majestic Gongga Mountains right outside your window. All fatigue instantly melts away. The public outdoor soaking pools and garden foot baths are clean and tidy, with the water changed after each guest. After a soak, your skin feels incredibly smooth and radiant. 💖 Warm and Thoughtful Service The butler-style service is exceptionally attentive. They helped with luggage, patiently planned our itinerary, and reminded us of things to note in the scenic area. Upon check-in, we received welcome fruits and a sumptuous breakfast. The auntie's freshly made porridge and side dishes were both comforting and delicious. We also got free ******* clothes to wear for atmospheric photoshohoots, which were thoughtfully arranged with local scenic spots as backdrops. The original photos were already high quality, and a simple edit made them ready to use. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic.

At the foot of the snow-capped mountains of Hailuogou, I stumbled upon this charming Song Dynasty-style guesthouse, 【Under the Trees】, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The guesthouse's garden design is meticulous, with picturesque views at every turn. Red lanterns adorn the bare branches and stone paths, creating a rustic and elegant ambiance, as if transporting me back to the mountain life of the Song Dynasty. The most delightful surprise was the availability of both private and public hot springs. The genuine sulfur hot springs felt especially precious on a cold mountain night; soaking in the hot springs provided complete relaxation for both body and mind. Although the mountain temperature was low, the underfloor heating in the rooms was incredibly effective, keeping everything warm and cozy. The entire stay was impeccable, from the welcome fruit, snacks, and drinks in the refrigerator to the thoughtful evening dessert – every detail was meticulously attended to. A special mention goes to the hot yak hot pot we ordered at the restaurant; the variety of vegetables was abundant, and the warmth after the meal was incredibly comforting. Here, time seemed to slow down, allowing me to simply savor this rare tranquility and comfort.

Overall, it was okay, but not worth the price. You can tell they're trying to be a five-star hotel, but the facilities are still a bit lacking. The overall environment is very nice, with a Chinese garden style design. The sulfur hot spring is a major highlight, and the private bath is quite comfortable, with good privacy protection. The room isn't very big, but it's clean and hygienic – these are all positives! However, the balcony door couldn't be locked. When the butler first introduced the room, they said it could be locked and even reminded us to lock it before sleeping. It's clear the butler didn't realize the door was broken. So, when we were getting ready for bed, we spent a long time trying to lock it, but couldn't. We had to contact the hotel for help. Eventually, someone from the front desk came up, studied it for a long time, and then told us the door couldn't be locked. Since we are all women, we were a bit scared and had to prop a chair against the door. I suggest putting the front desk contact information in the room. We only added the butler's WeChat, but the butler was off duty by 11 PM, and we couldn't reach them via WeChat. We had to call the butler to ask them to contact the front desk for us. Additionally, there was an issue with the sink; it wouldn't drain. There were supposed to be two sinks, but we could only use one in the end. Given the high price, I suggest they improve their hardware facilities or check them before guests check in and fix any issues beforehand. Otherwise, it leaves a bad impression and makes you feel like you didn't get your money's worth.

The hotel owner was also very warm and generous; we had yak meat hot pot, which I highly recommend. Plus, soaking in the outdoor hot spring in winter was so relaxing! We could go straight back to our room afterward without worrying about catching a cold. The room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful mountain views from the window. Overall, we loved it. It is located in Baiyangping Village, a little inside the valley. It is very quiet, but the location to see Gongga Mountain is perfect. You can face the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains while lying in the hot spring pool in the room. When I woke up early, I actually saw the golden mountain in the sun. The boss, the boss lady and every employee were super nice and met all our requirements unconditionally. It really felt like home!
