I felt it would be a disservice to the owner's dedicated efforts if more travelers didn't get to experience such a wonderful place. The most delightful surprise was the availability of both private and public hot springs. The genuine sulfur hot springs felt especially precious on a cold mountain night; soaking in the hot springs provided complete relaxation for both body and mind. Although the mountain temperature was low, the underfloor heating in the rooms was incredibly effective, keeping everything warm and cozy. The entire stay was impeccable, from the welcome fruit, snacks, and drinks in the refrigerator to the thoughtful evening dessert – every detail was meticulously attended to. A special mention goes to the hot yak hot pot we ordered at the restaurant; the variety of vegetables was abundant, and the warmth after the meal was incredibly comforting. Here, time seemed to slow down, allowing me to simply savor this rare tranquility and comfort.

We were really lucky on this trip to Hailuogou! There was a lot of snow on the mountain, and we were extremely satisfied with the hotel we booked. The surrounding environment was very pleasant, the hot spring water temperature was perfect, and our whole family was very happy. Crucially, we also saw the sunrise over the mountains from the hotel, which was absolutely beautiful. The hotel owner was also very warm and generous; we had yak meat hot pot, which I highly recommend. Plus, soaking in the outdoor hot spring in winter was so relaxing!
