4-Star Hotels in Yibin

I've stayed in numerous high-quality guesthouses and upscale hotels, and this is my first time writing a review. If the guesthouse owner intends to price their property at this level, I suggest they travel around and stay in similarly priced guesthouses in the 1500-2500 RMB range in Sichuan and Yunnan to experience the difference in user experience. The hotel's external infrastructure is fine, but the amenities are extremely perfunctory. First, the bathroom and shower are entirely made of transparent glass, a point that has been criticized by countless guests. Second, the Loft rooms are practically uninhabitable in summer; the air conditioning doesn't work, and the upstairs bedrooms are extremely hot. The staff were fully aware of this problem and offered to change our room after we checked in. Given this, why open the Loft rooms for booking in the summer? How are guests supposed to sleep if the hotel is fully booked? Isn't this deception? Third, there's absolutely no signal from China Unicom or China Mobile inside the hotel—I'm not exaggerating when I say there's none. The hotel is aware of this issue, so a stable Wi-Fi connection is essential. Ironically, the Wi-Fi was also intermittent. The staff said it was because bamboo rats frequently chewed through the cables. If they knew bamboo rats would chew through cables and the Wi-Fi would often fail, why didn't they provide portable Wi-Fi devices? This prevented me from holding meetings or working online. The hotel staff's work attitude was acceptable, but everything else really didn't justify the price. The owner should really go out and see the difference!

Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. Stepping into the room, I was greeted by an unbeatable river view – definitely the biggest highlight since arriving in Yibin! The room itself was spacious with high ceilings, making it feel very bright and comfortable. The bedding was also excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and had a great service attitude. This is truly a high-quality hotel offering amazing value for money.

On July 17th, after a business trip, I arrived at the hotel. Just after checking in, I was struck down by a sudden bout of heatstroke. Traveling alone, I felt weak and dizzy. Looking at the empty room, the night in a strange city suddenly became incredibly unbearable—the feeling of helplessness, of calling out to heaven and earth for helplessness, instantly overwhelmed me. I'd always heard people say you have to rely on yourself when you're away from home, but only when you're faced with a crisis do you realize how vulnerable you can be. Thankfully, I called the hotel front desk, and they answered without hesitation, instantly contacting 120. Even more heartbreaking, when the duty manager, Ning Ju, and the political commissar, Cui Yan, heard I was feeling unwell, they didn't hesitate and accompanied me to the hospital in the ambulance. Honestly, I'd raised several minor issues with your hotel before, and I was a little nervous, but this time, their genuine response instantly dispelled my concerns. During the two-plus hours I spent in the hospital, their care was truly more genuine than that of family members. Ningli stayed by my side the entire time, helping me explain my condition to the doctor. She even asked about my medications and allergies, fearing I'd missed anything. Cuiyan ran up and down the stairs to pay bills and pick up medications. My bag and ID were neatly tidied, and I felt completely at ease. They even noticed my phone was low, and when I woke up to see it charging, it warmed my heart. They specifically left a message: ”Don't turn off your phone when you're out alone.” Even more thoughtful, they took the initiative to contact my family on their own phones, explaining the situation and telling them not to worry, saying they were with me and could contact me anytime. Just imagine how reassuring that was! It wasn't until after 2 a.m. when the doctor said I was fine that they felt comfortable sending me back to the hotel. At another hotel, they'd probably just call an ambulance. Who would be so attentive and stay with me the entire time? The next day, the hotel room was already stocked with warm water and summer-heat remedies. Lemon and Smoke even came over to tell me to get some rest. I used to think hotel service was just so-so, but this time, I truly felt the warmth of home. From a few complaints before to now, I've completely put my heart into this place. This hotel has truly made me understand: a good hotel is not just a cold place to stay, but a haven that can provide comfort in times of hardship. With such a team of staff who treat guests like family, this hotel has become synonymous with peace of mind. On future business trips, this will be my unwavering choice, knowing that even if I run into trouble, I'll have these reliable people by my side to protect me!

This hotel is super conveniently located right next to Yibin West Station, easily walkable. They even offer a shuttle service to the station, but you need to book it in advance! I absolutely have to rave about the breakfast! The variety is, as always with Atour, top-notch with plenty of options. A huge shoutout to their beef noodles! The beef chunks are massive and look incredibly appetizing. As for Yibin's famous Ran Mian, honestly, the hotel's version is just as good as what you'd find outside. All four types of noodles are delicious, I highly recommend trying them all: the beef noodles for their hearty portions, the Ran Mian for its savory dry-tossed flavor, the mushroom noodles for a fresh, comforting taste, and the ginger duck noodles for their rich ginger aroma. What really surprised me was that the hotel's wontons are freshly made – first time I've seen that at an Atour! The egg tarts are also freshly baked and served warm, absolutely delicious. We stayed in a Muji twin room, which was really spacious – easily enough for four people. The hotel gym also has plenty of equipment, so no need to worry about it being crowded. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful; when they found out we were tourists, they even recommended some local Yibin BBQ spots, and the BBQ was fantastic! Considering the value for money, location, service, and breakfast, I wholeheartedly recommend everyone experience this hotel.

The environment is nice, surrounded by lush bamboo groves and filled with the sounds of insects, creating a natural atmosphere. There's an infinity pool, and boating is convenient. However, the chefs leave after 2 PM?? Usually, hotels like this, located on a mountaintop with nothing around, should at least have food available throughout the day. The hotel didn't even have a small shop. Without a car, buying things is extremely inconvenient; there are no shops nearby. I only bought a few packs of instant noodles at the hotel, and they only had braised beef flavor. The hotel swimsuits are ridiculously expensive; the kind that costs 168 yuan each looks like they cost 20 yuan to make. You should bring your own swimsuit if you want to swim.

Facilities: very new, all facilities are in place, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry. Hygiene: I am in the circle of friends, everyone is recognized as clean, and the cleanliness can be scored 95 points. Environment: The hotel is located in the city, very convenient. The room is soundproofed and the overall environment is comfortable. Service: From the front desk to the waiter, the service attitude is full. I went to the laundry room to wash my clothes, and then the eldest sister in the laundry room told me that I would tell her the room number. She was responsible for washing, drying and folding it neatly and delivered it to the room. Then because of washing clothes, there is no way, check out at 12 o'clock on time, call and communicate with the front desk, the front desk brother free to delay my check-out, thank you very much.

My partner and I have stayed in this hotel before in February. Came back again just to enjoy this hotel again. Again, this hotel did not disappoint at all, cleanliness was still excellent, service was very good and convenient especially being able to communicate with the front desk using WeChat. They even gave us an upgrade of our room. The staff was extremely friendly and always greeted us when they saw us. The cleaning staff were professional also (they even tucked our soft toys into bed haha). The gym is also very well equipped and well maintained considering it is a hotel gym. They even have trainers at the gym, and they have PT classes at the gym too but of course you have to pay for it. But the gym staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I think this hotel would definitely be our first choice in Yibin always. This hotel is a great reflection of the people of Yibin, warm, welcoming and very loving. Highly recommended! Xingwen Chanyi Shihai Tingyuan Hotel – A poetic retreat in the mountains, a hidden gem worth a second visit! Many years ago, I stayed at this brand's Jincheng Courtyard in Chengdu, and I also considered staying at one of their Chanyi branches when I went to Leshan. This time, I stayed at the Shihai branch. Check-in and check-out were smooth and seamless. My family and I booked four rooms for a two-day stay. Every room was great. The environment was perfect: the hotel is located in Pingzhai Village, Shihai Town, nestled against green mountains and facing a sea of ​​clouds. In the morning, you can see layered peaks when you open the window, and at night, you can see a sky full of stars. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it truly embodies ”seclusion in the mountains.” The service was attentive: the two receptionists were warm, friendly, and very pretty. They proactively introduced nearby attractions (such as Shihai Cave Village) and even helped book tickets. The rooms were cleaned promptly, and the towels and toiletries were new and clean. We were very grateful that all four rooms were upgraded free of charge due to the off-season. A few minor drawbacks: There were insufficient staff, making it difficult to justify the room rates, resulting in a disconnect between service and room rates. There was no tea table or tea room, and the room layout was somewhat disorganized.

The location is super good --- lots of restaurants around, a big supermarket just 50 meters away, and a kid’s entertainment facility nearby. Service is excllent! All staff are really helpful and supportive. Breakfast is delicious with lots of variety of food. But the family room needs patch up on the wall and bathroom ceiling. Otherwise, all good.

This hotel is the most upscale in Xingwen County, and it is very cost-effective. The same level of hotel in cities like Chengdu and Chongqing would cost around 500 or 600 yuan. The lobby is particularly grand, and it feels like a five-star hotel. The room layout is reasonable and spacious. The waiters are also proactive and enthusiastic! The breakfast is good, with a variety of categories! There are many restaurants around. It is also convenient to take a taxi. I will stay here again when I come to Xingwen next time! More than 300 yuan is worth it!
