The guesthouse is conveniently located near the west entrance of the Shunan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, close to the museum and Wangyou Valley. The balcony has a private hot spring bath, perfect for relaxing after a walk through the bamboo forest. Lunch and dinner are available for a fee; the all-bamboo feast is delicious, and the cured meat is also very tasty. It's a great place for a relaxing vacation.

The service was excellent, Check in and check out was smooth and quick. The guy who runs the place went over and beyond. Before we left Chengdu we added the phone number and connected with him on WeChat. He helped check if our train (We bought tickets for Yibin) passed through the nearer train station. He helped to organize a driver for us from Yibin to the hotel. For breakfast the served simple but yummy bamboo noodles. Cleanliness I give them 10/10. The hotel is well maintained, super clean, even under the beds (we moved out 2 beds together). The bed was too comfortable. The pillows were super great. Had a beautiful 2 nights of sleep. The room was spacious. Location is great. A little away from the main area but close enough to walk there. the museum bus station is a few meters away (3 mins walk) and the cable car is 1km away. I suggest walking there, its a beautiful walk surrounded b bamboo. The guy who runs the place helped us to map the route to the places we wanted to see. I would stay here again.

Their house is located halfway up the mountain, very close by bus from the west gate. The bus stop at the entrance requires a short wait, but you can flag it down. Driving is recommended for more freedom. The rooms are very clean, and the owner and grandma's fried rice is especially delicious. We stayed in a room with a super large balcony and a fantastic view, surrounded by lush bamboo. This place is perfect for quiet tea drinking, meditation, and relaxation. If you can endure solitude and want to connect with nature, then this place is truly a great choice.

I found the owner, Yao Yao, online, and my first impression was that she was a sincere and genuine beauty. With a ”let's give it a try” attitude, I visited the Shunan Bamboo Sea: Diecui-Bieyuan. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and fragrant, and the thoughtful heating made us, guests from Xinjiang, feel warm and comfortable. The delicious stir-fried dishes were absolutely fantastic. Although I only stayed for three days due to work, I promised to bring my parents and family next year to breathe in the fresh air of the bamboo forest and to return to Diecui-Bieyuan—a beautiful courtyard you won't want to leave once you've arrived—and to leave with a wonderful impression of the gentle and generous Yao Yao.

Nearby attractions are also conveniently located, including Hai Zhong Hai (Sea in Sea), Fairy Lake, Xianyu Temple, and Tianbao Village (**Wo). The room was clean and tidy, and they proactively upgraded our room. There's a hot spring downstairs, and you can also enjoy free karaoke and billiards. It's excellent value for money.

With crowds everywhere during the National Day holiday, I was worried about finding a bad place to stay, but this place was a wonderful surprise! The owners deserve special praise; they were incredibly helpful. They proactively called before our trip, patiently explaining the route to the main entrance, parking tips, and even tricks to avoid the crowds. We didn't have to worry about anything, which was incredibly convenient. The room didn't disappoint either. It was spotless and tidy, even the corners were neatly organized. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were arranged meticulously. Every detail showed the owner's thoughtfulness, making for a very comfortable stay. And their food was absolutely amazing! The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were just what I wanted. The owner even brought out their own wine to treat us. Enjoying a hot meal and a little wine completely washed away all the fatigue of the day. This stay was fantastic! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area! I also highly recommend it to anyone planning a National Day trip – you can stay here with confidence!

Service: I really have to complain about this. Don't listen to that auntie downstairs. I suggest booking on-site because they're different from others; once you book, it's non-refundable if you don't stay (it says free refunds within a few minutes, no refunds after that, and we only found this out later). The staff initially said it was refundable because of a location issue, but even after we went downstairs, it was still non-refundable. We contacted Ctrip multiple times, and they said the hotel owner told us to contact them. The owner then said the gist was no refund unless we stayed. The person who contacted us downstairs even suggested we eat at their restaurant. Otherwise, it was okay. Especially the front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic. Environment: The 199 package only covers the first floor, which has a lot of mosquitoes. I don't recommend using the 199 booking; the mosquitoes are plentiful and the environment is bad. I also suggest rooms on the 4th or 5th floors with enclosed windows. Rooms without enclosed windows also have a lot of mosquitoes. The 4th and 5th floors are a bit more expensive. I don't recommend the private hot spring rooms; the tub there wasn't clean, with a lot of limescale. Cleanliness: I didn't check the other cleanliness details when I went, but the private hot spring in the room was subpar. It was a bit disappointing. We originally went there for this, but later we didn't want it anymore. Facilities: There's free parking, but you might need to be a little careful because the slope is quite steep. Pay attention to your driving style and turning angles when going up and down the slope to avoid scraping the undercarriage. I scraped mine, and several metal bolts on the undercarriage were scraped off. One of those bolts damaged my oil pan, causing a slight oil leak. I won't comment on the other aspects since I didn't experience them. Please only book if you're sure you'll be staying. If you're unsure, I suggest not booking. No refunds! No refunds! No refunds! It's a bit chilly this time of year, but the hotel's air conditioning worked very well, and the room warmed up quickly. The shower water temperature was just right, without any uneven temperatures.
