4-Star Hotels in Yokohama

The accommodation was spacious and clean, but the worst part was the sheer number of mosquitoes downstairs. They even got into the elevator! I've never seen so many mosquitoes in Japan before.

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The hotel is not far from the subway station, and there's an elevator at Exit 2, which makes it very convenient for luggage. There's also a supermarket near Exit 2 that's open late, so it's easy to pick up necessities. The hotel is located right in Chinatown, so there are plenty of restaurants, mostly Chinese cuisine. The room size was just right; it didn't feel cramped at all. I booked an accessible room, so the bathroom was very spacious. The shower pressure was incredibly strong, making for a very comfortable shower experience. All the standard toiletries were provided, and what's more, the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were all KOSE brand, which felt quite premium. There were plenty of power outlets in the room, and some even had USB and Type-C ports, which was very convenient. There's also a free sauna (steam room) on B1 that can be reserved for 90-minute sessions, with the last session ending at 1:30 AM.

I first stayed for two nights, then went to Izu for two days, and came back for another three nights – I was very satisfied. The first time I checked out, the gentleman who assisted me was very kind and helped me reserve a corner room, which was great because it has large windows on two sides! The second time, a lovely lady helped me check in; she was also very gentle and spoke excellent English. The hotel is very close to Yokohama Park, Yokohama Stadium (where I even got to experience the excitement of a baseball game!), Kannai Station, and Chinatown. It's very clean, and having a Lawson convenience store downstairs made it easy to grab supplies. Extremely satisfied!

The windows don't open, but it has a great bath and sauna. The hotel is located on a residential street, it's very new and comfortable. It's clean and the facilities are modern!

When I came to Yokohama during my trip to Japan, I chose a hotel near Minatomirai. The check-in experience was good, and it's not far from the station. There's a convenience store downstairs, and water dispensers and ironing facilities in the hallway. The breakfast was filling and delicious. It's a great place to stay while traveling. Getting to Chinatown or Yokohama Station is also quite convenient.

The room is cozy, compact but well-equipped. It’s conveniently located just behind the Shinkansen station, with many eateries nearby. I had a comfortable rest after several days of traveling.A self-service laundry is also available if you need to wash your clothes with a fee

Aside from its proximity to Chinatown, there's nothing else commendable about this hotel. Parking costs extra, and if their lot is full, you have to use a paid parking lot nearby. The facilities are old, but the cleanliness is good. The front desk staff's attitude is below the average standard for Japanese hotels. On a side note, I highly recommend the Hunan restaurant in the small alley off to the side of Chinatown – it's very authentic.

Most hotels in Japan, though small, are incredibly well-equipped. They maximize every inch of space and are spotlessly clean to an astonishing degree—you won't find a single stain, water mark, lint, or speck of dust. Coupled with the wooden furniture, this creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly helps you relax.

The location was good in Yokohama, but I found out when I got there that the amusement park in front was closed. I didn't have enough information in advance. It was good value for money considering the cost of hot springs + lodging + breakfast. Dinner was also delicious and ate to my heart's content for about 100,000 won for 4 people. The hot spring facilities seemed a bit old, but they seemed well-maintained. The staff were friendly, and there was a shuttle bus to Yokohama, so it would be good to check in advance.

As a hotel, there is nothing to complain about. As for the location, the fact that there is nothing worth seeing in the surrounding facilities is expected and is not a minus point, but there is nothing within walking distance, and even if you go out for a quick walk or to find a convenience store, there is only an industrial road and factories. I think people who stay at this hotel understand this, but the walks around the hotel, which add a touch of glamour to a trip, are extremely boring, and that is the only place I always end up disappointed.
