Amazing
ZZhuweiThis was my second visit to Yokohama, and staying at this InterContinental was an excellent choice, truly the best decision of the trip. We stayed for five nights and explored all of Yokohama and the surrounding areas. The room was spacious, the bed was large, the facilities were very new, and everything was impeccably clean. Downstairs, there's a 7-Eleven and a Starbucks, plus many restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

GGuest UserThe location is the best exploring Yamashita park and China Town.
Also just few minutes walk from the Motomachi/China town station and opposite bus stop to the Haneda airport.
It’s a spectacular view from the corner room and all staff service were amazing!

LLala TripThe staff's hospitality was excellent.
Since it was our anniversary, they took photos for us, and we were even upgraded, so we had a relaxing time in a lovely room. ♪
The view from the room, the turndown service, the TWG tea, and the bath amenities were all great.
However, when I woke up in the morning, I was itchy and had signs of a tick bite, so the cleanliness was a minus point.
The TV was full of Japanese programs, so I wish they would introduce something like Netflix or Amazon Prime so I could relax and enjoy movies during my hotel stay.
I was able to listen to music via Bluetooth, but it seemed a bit behind the times.
The breakfast, which I was looking forward to, had a limited variety and was average in taste.
I had high expectations because I knew the regular price in advance, but it was quite disappointing.
The restaurant staff's service was cheerful and gave me a Hawaiian feel.
I also had the Kahala Hotel's popular Shin Pancakes, which were delicious.
The Eggs Benedict, a signature Hawaiian dish, was *perhaps overcooked*, but the yellow color solidified and wasn't thick enough, and the sauce wasn't very tasty.
Overall, I felt that it was a 5-star hotel except for the customer service, with everything else at a 4-star level.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient! The subway takes you directly into the hotel and the mall, making shopping a breeze. Getting to Yokohama Station is super easy with all the connections. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserI checked in on June 2nd and was able to see the harbor fireworks, which were absolutely beautiful, though the view depends on the room's location. It's a bit of a walk to the nearby department stores and subway station, but that doesn't detract from how good this hotel is. Plus, there's a bus stop right downstairs.

GGuest UserThis is not a true capsule hotel: the beds are only separated with curtains, not doors. This means that you can hear everyone else in the room, and that there is no secure place to leave your things when you go the shower or leave your space for a bit. (The only lockers are all the way on the ground floor, in the lobby, and they are tiny--much too small for a suitcase or even a large backpack.) So this feels much more like a youth hostel than an actual capsule hotel.
If the beds had doors that could be locked, I would give this place an excellent review. On the positive side, it was kept very clean (given the number of people staying there), and it's very close to the train station and to Chinatown.

XXueshuxuedeqiqiThe room we were given was quite good, and its size was certainly decent by Japanese standards. However, the wait for service at the front desk was excessively long. During our wait, my friend unexpectedly started her period and tried to ask the lobby manager for a sanitary pad. After a lengthy wait with no assistance, we were eventually told by staff to purchase one from a convenience store ourselves. We stayed for several days, but encountered an issue where we couldn't book one specific night during our intended stay. Despite multiple inquiries, the front desk repeatedly stated the hotel was fully booked for that night. This forced us to find alternative accommodation for a night, which was incredibly inconvenient as we had to repack all our belongings. However, upon checking back in, we were not only given our original room again but also allowed to check in early. It strongly suggests that our room had been vacant the entire time, and I genuinely cannot understand why we were told it was unavailable.

SsgargiuloThe hotel is short walking distance from shin-yokohama station. Check in was easy and smooth. Out room was a bit small and tired , typical business japanese style but the furniture looked worn. The bathroom was also japanese style : no window + small bathtub with shower and minimal (well equipped) space overall. If you are lucky enough to get an upper floor room , the view from the big window is nice. On the basement there is a 7Eleven and just out of the hotel it is plenty of shops/restaurants
