AxingtianchengtuThe location is excellent, right across from the Kuan Tai Temple in Yokohama Chinatown, and it's about an 8-minute walk to the Minatomirai Line subway station. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. You can get free water at the front desk, and the kitchenette offers complimentary drinks. The bed space is very generous, almost like a small double bed, and comes with a table, chair, hanger, and towel. There are outlets conveniently located by the bed and on the bedside table, which is very thoughtful. The room, shower room, and toilet were all very clean, and they even provided paper cups, makeup remover pads, and various other free amenities.

Erik ChiangI recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.
What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day.
If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.

The location is quite convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk from Yokohama Station to the hotel. If you take the subway to Shin-Takashima Station, it's even less than a 3-minute walk, though the hotel entrance can be a bit hard to find.
The hotel environment is comfortable, and since it's on a higher floor, you can enjoy beautiful views of Yokohama.
The lobby offers free coffee and tea bags. Most importantly, there's a public bath, and you can even check the availability of the three washing and drying machines on your room's TV, so you don't make a wasted trip.

My stay at Comfort Hotel Yokohama Kannai was enjoyable overall. Parking costs 1,600 yen per day. The front desk team was welcoming, attentive, and professional, making check-in quick and easy. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied—I loved the creamy scrambled eggs with toast and broccoli, and the grilled mackerel with rice was outstanding. Granola with fresh milk was a nice addition. The double room was clean and comfortable, although the bed felt a bit tight. It would be more convenient if complimentary bottled water were available.

Guest UserThe place was old, but well kept enough. The staff were helpful, and the location is near the furthest exit of the train station - so mostly sheltered, which is great

Guest UserFacilities: The room was a bit old-fashioned; it didn't use a key card for electricity, which meant the power was always on. It's an eco-friendly hotel, as the front desk provides towels.
Cleanliness: Acceptable.
Environment: Getting to the JR station wasn't very convenient, as you had to cross pedestrian overpasses.

I requested early check-in 3 months back but they are very reluctant with the check-in timing. They did not even allow check-in before half an hour. Also, I have booked breakfast for 5 days, and I thought it would be a buffet breakfast, but in reality they give you a bento box, which is not Vegan or vegetarian-friendly and i am Vegan so i wasted my money in breakfast. I advise not to book breakfast, in same price you can get better option anywhere else.

Since it was my first time making a reservation, I had some trouble getting into the room, but they responded quickly so there was no problem. The accommodation fee was cheap, so I was able to spend more money on sightseeing. There were convenience stores, restaurants, and parking lots nearby, so it was comfortable.

Not recommended!
The bathroom and the room are very small (should be a wide angle shooting) and then there is no floor mat. After the shower, the floor is wet. Although there is a kitchen, the tableware is not cleaned, and the coating will be dropped.
The window sill of the room also looks like it has not been cleaned up and there is a thick dust
The washing machine is also quite rotten.
Advantages: very close to the subway and China Street, there is donki nearby
