MM230741****This hotel is perfect for families like ours who enjoy relaxing and spending most of their time at the hotel. There's a reading area on the first floor, a kids' zone in the basement, and even dedicated staff to help children with crafts. A staff member stayed by my child's side the entire time they were doing archery, which was very responsible. The hotel's service is also quite good; they'll do their best to accommodate any request. A special shout-out to the young lady who provided professional service with a sweet, delightful smile. She made our trip even more pleasant 😁. Who says Lingshui isn't fun? I personally think it's better than Sanya, with more genuine hospitality. Thumbs up! 👍

The layout of the room is very warm and comfortable, and the bedding is clean and soft, which made me sleep well all night. WWalunshitateruanjiI've chosen to stay at the Capella Tufu Bay Resort multiple times now, and it's perfect whether I'm staying alone or hosting friends. The hotel's design is unique and innovative, crafted by two world-class designers. The 'Star-Gazing Pond' at the entrance, with its heaven-and-earth design, makes for stunning photos effortlessly. Every morning at 8:30 AM, a dedicated master performs Tai Chi in the middle of the water, setting the tone for a pleasant and beautiful day. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is especially fantastic – once you're in bed, you won't want to get out. The hotel's garden scenery is also breathtaking; every step offers a new view, and you can easily snap photos worthy of a screensaver.
I truly love Capella hotels. The breakfast is rich and varied, and with an extended opening time from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, I often don't even feel like having lunch afterward. The hotel also features 'Lan Ting,' a Cantonese Chinese restaurant with great food, and some Hainanese dishes like Wenchang Chicken are definitely worth trying. The Thai restaurant by the pool offers excellent value for money, and there are a few dishes I order every time.
The hotel service is wonderful. A 'Travel & Culture Officer' contacts you in advance to discuss your check-in needs and makes sure everything is arranged beforehand. They prepared children's amenities for my baby in advance, sent timely WeChat reminders about hotel activities, and provided different fruits and desserts in the room daily. The front desk staff are warm and professional during check-in. The buggy service is also very prompt. I will definitely keep choosing Capella.

Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic, the room was very tidy.

11395028****We stayed here for New Year's Eve, and the hotel's design is absolutely stunning. You can take beautiful photos anywhere! They even offer a complimentary photo shoot experience with your stay. Despite being fully booked, it never felt overly noisy. The breakfast hours are fantastic, from 8 AM to 12 PM – a first for me in all the hotels I've stayed at! The breakfast replenishment was excellent; even with many people, it never felt messy or chaotic. Since the hotel just opened, there was still a slight new-room smell. A special shout-out to our butler, Max, who made our stay even more fantastic with his incredibly thoughtful service!

The manager, Stanley, was very professional and ready to help when we needed it.
The sea view is the best I've had in Hainan. I came to this hotel again mainly for the view. You can even hear the waves from the room and see the stars at night.
Many people complain about the breakfast in the comment section, but it's not bad at all. There's different kinds of fruit, bread, coffee, eggs and write a few other dishes. It's definitely not five star, but my girlfriend and I (she's Chinese and I'm Canadian) enjoyed a long breakfast every morning.
There's barely ever anybody on the beach and it's okay to go for dip in the sea, but you're technically not supposed to swim in it.
There's a an area about 700 meters from the hotel where you can find different restaurants.
The pool is very nice but isn't heated.
You can easily get around just walking, renting the electric bikes and calling a taxi to get to some hiking spots. We didn't find it necessary to rent a car despite being remote.
The bad:
You are technically not supposed to swim in the sea.
The pool is too cold to comfortably swim in when the weather is not hot.
The cleaning service does just an okay job on cleaning the room.
There's no really good restaurants around that we could find. Although I find this to be a problem in most areas of Hainan. There is no real variation of food.
There's no breathing in the rooms.
Bring snacks because it's hard to find food in the afternoon unless you order from the town, but then you have to wait for it to arrive and the options are limited.
There is a gym but with limited equipment.

MMickyshumaomaoFor a hotel in Clear Water Bay, this one offers great value for money. The front desk upgraded my room from an Elegant Twin to a Garden View Twin, on the second floor. The balcony overlooks the pool, so the view was excellent. The interior decor doesn't quite feel like a star-rated hotel; it's more like a guesthouse, a bit dated, but still clean. The garden behind the hotel is very beautiful. To get to the beach, you have to walk through the entire garden. You need to swipe your card to exit the building into the garden, and again to go from the garden to the beach, which feels quite secure. The pool closer to the beach offers paddleboarding for 30 for half an hour or 50 for an hour, which is pretty good value. The beach has many rocks and lots of crabs, and I even caught a sea snake tail; it's also great for collecting seashells. The breakfast had a good variety, but the taste was quite mediocre.

GGuest UserBringing a child, Xiao Liang at the front desk helped upgrade the room. The service was very good. The hotel room was large, the bathroom was spacious, and the balcony was convenient for hanging clothes, but it was still not dry without dehydration overnight. It is recommended to equip it with a self-service laundry room.
The hotel is a little far from the beach on foot, so it is not suitable for multiple round trips every day. There are many water activities on the beach. It is not as quiet as imagined, especially for wedding photos. The scenery is left with petals all over the ground, which is quite annoying. After the tide receded at night, I went to the beach to catch crabs the size of fingertips, and nothing else.
The next day, I made an appointment to learn surfing through the promotional board at the pool bar. It seemed to be an external cooperation of the hotel. It was 300 per person for 1 to 2. The price was moderate, and the coach was also more serious. Unfortunately, the waves in Qingshui Bay were not big. I had to wait for a long time to catch a wave. I didn’t practice much, and it would be better in the summer.
There were not many breakfast options in the hotel. I could eat enough, but there was no surprise. You can also order lunch, but you can’t deliver it to the room. The restaurant is open and air-conditioned, which is not good. It was quite hot at noon. You can take away your own food at the restaurant, and the takeaway box is charged separately, which is not like the five-star standard.
There are not many takeaway options here, and you have to drive out to eat. It is enough to stay for 2 days. There was active cleaning and towel replenishment in the middle, and I was satisfied with the cleaning work.

JJing wu xihow to say. . It's not bad. The lobby is magnificent, but the facilities inside are not very good. I live on the 6th floor, the top floor, and there is a huge cockroach in the corner of the balcony, haha. The swimming pool downstairs is quite big. On Saturdays, there is a bubble fight. The water on the beach downstairs is made of real glass, and there are warnings everywhere that it is strictly prohibited to go into the sea, but you can go into the sea. It's okay, and there is also a meal. A complimentary dinner is a bad review. The parent-child room must be for more than three people, and the staple food is not enough. The breakfast buffet is quite satisfactory. There is a small town one kilometer away from the hotel, which is quite convenient for eating.

LleiqingReturning to Fenjiezhou Island Hotel, carrying with us the wonderful memories from our previous stay. The charming front desk staff member warmly welcomed us, and upon noticing we had stayed in Block C2 previously, thoughtfully arranged a room for us in the adjacent Block C1. What we loved most was the rugged cliffs and crashing waves directly below our balcony. We sat on the natural wooden chairs, letting the moist sea breeze wash over us. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious. The air conditioning had been turned on in advance, making our check-in comfortable and cool. Mosquito repellent was also thoughtfully provided – a truly considerate touch. The true advantage of staying on the island only reveals itself after the day-trippers have left. The seaside commercial street remains open, but without the hustle and bustle of daytime tourists, it feels as if the entire island belongs to you. Another commendable aspect is the island's transportation system, which provides shuttle service for hotel guests at any time. Drivers enthusiastically double as tour guides, offering commentary, and the young staff members at each station are dedicated to their duties, proactively assisting with luggage. After check-out, we could store our luggage for free, allowing us to continue exploring the island and utilizing the transport system. Our last visit to Fenjiezhou Island was bathed in sunshine, and every casual photo turned into a masterpiece. This time, we encountered cloudy and rainy weather. Initially, I was a bit frustrated, but then I realized it meant we wouldn't get sunburnt while exploring outdoors. And during the rain, we could retreat to our room and further enjoy the sight of the crashing waves from our balcony. The only minor inconvenience was that it started raining precisely at dinner time, making it difficult to go to the small shops down the hill. I suddenly found myself wishing for the two complimentary instant noodle cups that were provided in the room during our first visit... This clearly shows that regardless of the weather, staying at Fenjiezhou Island always offers a unique and wonderful experience.
