GGuest UserThe room was upgraded for free, the breakfast was healthy and delicious, and the facilities were good. The most important swimming pool is great. In the morning, I watched the hotel staff carefully clean the swimming pool for almost 2 hours, and then went in for a happy swim. The sea and sky were all the same color, lawns, woods, beaches, and sea water. Compared to the kind of seaside villas with unobstructed views , the progressive depth of different landscapes, and the sense of envelopment brought by the mountains and the sea, let people blend into the embrace of nature in a very safe state, and return to the most authentic state,,, through the woods When I saw the local people sitting or standing on the rocks on the seaside in the distance, Zheng Zhihua's sailors instantly came to my mind. The freedom and power shown in this picture will also become a kind of spiritual nourishment that will nourish the future. Life, this is one of the meanings of travel.

MM13520****1. Clearwater Bay Beach is truly fantastic (though it rained, so I'm not sure if that affected the singing). The sand is fine, the sea is blue, and there are many small sand crabs (but please release them if you catch them, they belong to the ocean!).
2. Our butler, Chloe, provided excellent service. She upgraded our room, was incredibly responsive to all our requests, and went out of her way to help us solve any issues. She contacted us in advance of our stay, and during our stay, she sent us a fruit basket and coconuts. She also actively helped us secure a prime spot for the beach BBQ (super nice).
3. The hotel itself has a strong Southeast Asian style, designed with elegance and grandeur. The corridors, arches, sculptures, and the long bar are all beautiful. At night, when the lights come on, the entire building looks incredibly sophisticated and high-quality.
4. Dining: We tried the beach BBQ, and the atmosphere was great. Although we couldn't dine directly on the sand, the lawn right next to the beach was still lovely. The food was excellent, ranking among the best buffet ingredients we've had in Sanya (with sea cucumber, abalone, caviar, lobster, hairy crabs, large oysters, etc.). However, the overall service was somewhat disappointing. The waitstaff seemed to be aimlessly busy (perhaps temporary staff who were very unprofessional), and it often took multiple calls to get their attention. The same applied to clearing plates (they'd clear a full plate of food you were still eating, but wouldn't clear empty ones). Also, the vinegared hot pot (Zao Po Cu hot pot) caught fire due to the strong wind, and the flames were quite large. Yet, the waitstaff remained unconcerned. In the end, it was a foreign staff member who helped put it out – kudos to him.
5. Bar: We tried the Singapore Sling and a Negroni. The Singapore Sling, originating from Raffles, was good, but the Negroni was very mediocre. The overall service was also quite frustrating. We had to call the waiter over just to get water, and after sitting for ten minutes, we were told our table was reserved. However, every table had a 'reserved' sign. The waiter then said some tables with signs were reserved and some weren't, which honestly left a very poor impression.
6. The hotel pool is great. The lagoon pool has a bubble activity in the afternoon, and the adult pool is also very clear. I feel like if the weather were good, we could also surf and swim by the sea. Next time, with better weather, I'll try the water activities.
7. The room view was quite good, and the housekeeping auntie was very meticulous, turning down our bed every evening.
Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives. The overall service could definitely be improved. The beach is indeed unbeatable, and the butler service was excellent. However, the service from other staff members needs strengthening. Apart from the staff near the front desk and in the Chinese restaurant who proactively greeted us, I hope other staff members around the resort can also be more proactive in greeting guests.

GGuest UserI usually don’t write reviews, but the exceptional service at Sangem Moon Hotel truly deserves one. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism of every single staff member. Their friendliness and genuine care make you feel right at home.
The hotel itself is immaculate, with spotless rooms and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service.
A special mention to my butler, Chase, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was recommending places to visit or attending to every little detail in my room, he handled everything with professionalism and care. There was nothing he couldn’t do!
I’d also like to thank Mori, the reception duty manager, for her excellent service. She speaks great English and took such good care of us, making everything smooth and effortless.
Another person I’d like to praise is 符阿姨 from housekeeping. She cleaned my room so thoroughly—you can tell she takes her job seriously. She mopped the floor, made everything perfectly organised, and ensured the room was spotless every single day.
I also have to commend the hotel management for training their staff so well. The level of professionalism and dedication from every team member is truly impressive.
I know people sometimes get tired of overly positive reviews that sound too good to be true, but this is a real review from a real guest. The service here is genuinely exceptional, and you can feel the sincerity in how they treat their guests. Highly recommended!

ZZhuangzhuangFor my baby's first birthday trip, after much deliberation, I chose Lingshui for its flour-soft beaches, and the Indigo Hotel for two reasons: firstly, it's new, and secondly, I wanted to see what made its award-winning design so special.
First off, the hotel truly felt brand new everywhere, which was a joy. Every room has an air purifier, and I didn't detect any formaldehyde smell (I'm quite sensitive to smells; new furniture usually bothers my throat).
The overall style is perfect for young people looking for a pure resort getaway. It definitely lives up to its design award; every corner of the hotel offers a picturesque view, great for taking exquisite photos.
The staff were all very professional, from handling special requests over the phone beforehand to check-in and check-out – always patient and thoughtful. Upon learning it was my baby's first birthday trip, our butler Tilly specially presented us with a dessert cake, which was incredibly heartwarming. The baby was happy the whole time! 🥳
The kids' club is super spacious, with fresh air and a wide variety of play areas. My baby could play there all morning without needing supervision, and all corners were padded for safety.
P.S. My baby accidentally bumped the hour hand of the room's alarm clock, and Tilly even arranged for a replacement without charging me for damages. I almost felt embarrassed!
I'll probably come back every year and have already recommended it to my discerning friends, haha!

MM-nangeTraveling with my parents on a self-driving trip, I chose this Sheraton for its brand reputation, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Located right by the sea, the hotel was very clean. The front desk staff, especially one gentleman and one lady, provided excellent service. We arrived a bit late and my parents were tired from the drive, but they quickly processed our check-in and even upgraded our room. The breakfast was good, and the swimming pool and gym were also nice. I even forgot an item when we left, and they kindly mailed it back to me, which I really appreciate. If I get the chance to visit Lingshui again, I'll definitely stay here.

MM61589****The rooms were pretty good – big and spacious, and every room had a sea view, though ours on the third floor was slightly obstructed, but still nice.
The hotel breakfast was good, even though I personally prefer the breakfast at the Guangzhou Westin. But at least they had freshly squeezed juice, which is a plus.
I particularly want to recommend the Chinese restaurant. Almost everything we ordered was a hit, to the point where we ate dinner there pretty much every night of our three-night stay. They have so many ways to prepare seafood; you can order a pound of shrimp and get it cooked three different ways!
My only minor complaint is that the lobby bar was undergoing renovations and was constantly noisy, though it seemed to be finished just before we left. 🙈
The kids' club closes at 7 PM! Seriously, what family on vacation with kids puts them to bed at 7 PM? Coming in November, the water was too cold, and there's no indoor pool, and no bar. The evenings were so boring. At the EDITION or the Crowne Plaza, you can at least go for a cocktail in the evening, but here, once night falls, there's nowhere to go except the restaurants. The upstairs bar wasn't open, the lobby bar was under renovation, and the kids' club was closed… The evenings were just too dull.
Overall: The Westin has really good food.

MM256344****I flew from Shanghai to Hainan for a special weekend trip, just to experience the Capella Tufu Bay, one of Hainan's most luxurious hotels. It's located in Tufu Bay, next to the CDF duty-free shop, about a 50-minute drive from Sanya Airport and 15 minutes from the duty-free shop. The transportation isn't the most convenient, but that's a minor flaw. The beach is whiter and finer than Haitang Bay, and the greenery and coconut groves are lusher and more vibrant. As they say, an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari – even if it's far from the airport, it's still top luxury!
The hotel itself features a new Chinese style with a Southeast Asian flair, adorned with white stone patterns, fountains at every turn, and intricate interlocking wooden ceilings – full of charm.
The day before check-in, our butler, Derorice, proactively sent me details via WeChat about special ceremony times, restaurant operating hours and menus, and activity schedules. She was always energetic and responded instantly, even in the middle of the night. She’s such a lovely and thoughtful girl!
I arrived at 10 AM on the first day. After dropping off my luggage, I headed straight to the duty-free shop. Around 2 PM, Derorice messaged me on WeChat to say the room was ready. She thoughtfully upgraded me from a Listen-to-the-Sea Pavilion to a Le Shui Ju Winter Residence, a private townhouse villa, and conveniently, the closest one to the public areas. How heartwarming!
The trip was for two days and three nights. I had originally booked a deep-sea fishing trip for the third day after check-out. However, after two days of immersive experience, I fell in love with this exotic garden-like haven. I canceled the fishing trip last minute to enjoy another half-day in this tranquil paradise, far from the city's hustle and bustle.
**Dining:** The buffet breakfast isn't just top-tier for Hainan's luxury hotels; it might even be my number one. The attention to detail is evident everywhere. For instance, the freshly replenished orange peel zest for self-made cocktails at the entrance – open the lid, and a rich citrus aroma greets you. The knife skills are commendable. Hotel buffet pastry sections are often a bit rough, focusing on variety and appearance rather than quality ingredients, flavoring, or texture. But every single pastry at Capella could easily outperform most specialized bakeries. The bread is soft yet resilient, the fillings are generous yet light and not greasy. Even the chocolate and colorful sprinkles used for the children's donuts are real chocolate, not compound chocolate. Even the oatmeal was cooked to perfection. Other highly praised dishes online, like turnip and beef brisket or Baoluo noodles, all showcased incredible attention to detail. It's easy to get one small detail right, but it's truly remarkable to be impressed by every single small detail!
**Spa:** The spa is a major highlight of Capella, with a large dedicated area. What truly moved me was that guests can enjoy the spa area for free, which includes a dry sauna, wet sauna, hydro-massage pool, relaxation area, and spa treatments. A special mention goes to the ice towel infused with ADS eucalyptus essential oil – it really hit the spot for me. At room temperature, the scent of eucalyptus isn't particularly striking, but smelling it chilled for the first time, it had a light, crisp, and refreshing quality, unlike the usual heavy woody notes. I was genuinely astonished. Accompanied by soothing background music, it’s super private and uncrowded, allowing for complete solitude. It’s an indescribable feeling; I can only say this was the most captivating and memorable small detail for me.

AAnonymous UserBeautiful stunning villa ,we originally booked for 1 night , ended up 3 nights . Front desk were super helpful and friendly . The quality of breakfast was average considering the price of the room and overall hotel standard . The hotel restaurant food was overpriced and overcooked fish , very disappointed. My partner and I wanted a coffee in the evening , we had to wait for the restaurant to open to buy one , these are the additional details of a hotel service that I expected to be part of our stay , as the hotel sells itself on a luxury standard. Small details makes all the difference and does not cost much , overall beautiful place , fantastic location, great front desk staff

GGuest UserIf you are looking for a quiet place with great beaches, this is your hotel! The rooms are clean, very spacious and have everything you need (fridge, hairdryer, washing machine, big balcony with seats. There is a gym in the basement and a lovely large garden that leads to the sea. Everything is accessible with your hotel card. The hotel is very big and has a luxurious feel. The service is impeccable, they will help you no matter the time or request! Thank you Huang Xiaolan!
The beach is clean and quiet. Bring your own beverages, because there’s no vendors. The sea can be a bit wild, but a ‘sea pool’ is created right in front of the gate by the board walk. If you go left, you’ll find a playground for kids too. Toys for kids to play with in the sea can be found at the mall or Jiarunfa. In the morning musicians sometimes play at the beach.
There is a mall nearby (1 km walk) that has a little market, some stores and a lot of restaurants, the people are nice and helpful. There’s also a massage center on the first floor (take the stairs behind McDonalds) that offers great massages for a very good price. If you cross the street in front of the mall, there’s some fruit vendors and a big supermarket (Jiarunfa). Very nice people there too.
I loved staying here and will definitely come back!

JJing wu xihow to say. . It's not bad. The lobby is magnificent, but the facilities inside are not very good. I live on the 6th floor, the top floor, and there is a huge cockroach in the corner of the balcony, haha. The swimming pool downstairs is quite big. On Saturdays, there is a bubble fight. The water on the beach downstairs is made of real glass, and there are warnings everywhere that it is strictly prohibited to go into the sea, but you can go into the sea. It's okay, and there is also a meal. A complimentary dinner is a bad review. The parent-child room must be for more than three people, and the staple food is not enough. The breakfast buffet is quite satisfactory. There is a small town one kilometer away from the hotel, which is quite convenient for eating.
