This guesthouse is absolutely the top choice for a family weekend getaway! It's clean, hygienic, and the food is incredibly fresh, with all the vegetables picked from the fields on the same day – absolutely delicious! 👍🏻 The housekeeper is exceptionally thoughtful, providing truly attentive service and always willing to help. They accompanied the children while picking vegetables and took great care of the elderly. We will definitely choose to stay at Yaojia again in the future! 💕

Anonymous UserWe stayed for one day during the May Day holiday. The staff were very welcoming. The two 1.35-meter beds were spacious enough for our family of four. In the evening, desserts and drinks were provided. The swimming pool wasn't crowded and the water was clean, which the kids really enjoyed. After check-out, the hotel even gave us some local specialty snacks. Overall, it exceeded our expectations.

HuixingwananI booked this hotel for my trip and it didn't disappoint! 🍉 The service was excellent, patient, and attentive, with staff actively offering all sorts of help, which was truly thoughtful. The room was spacious with a separate wet and dry area, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It was also quiet at night, no noise at all. The breakfast featured unique local specialties, and if you savor it, you can truly taste the essence of the city. The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient to visit all the major attractions. With thoughtful and attentive service combined with a comfortable living environment, it's an excellent choice for accommodation during your travels.

Yun_109This is one of the better hotels in Shaoxing, with excellent facilities across the board. Its biggest advantage is its proximity to Lu Xun's Former Residence and Shen Garden – it's literally at the best and closest spot right at the entrance of the scenic area, and also close to the subway.
Regarding the accommodation, we booked a garden view courtyard room on the first floor. It was very convenient, saving us from constantly taking the elevator. There were a few more mosquitoes and it was a bit humid, but thankfully, we had two sunny days during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed the bathroom sink was clogged, but the hotel promptly cleared it after we notified them, which was great.
Now, about the restaurant. The menu wasn't extensive, but we tried some famous local dishes like Shaoxing Sanxian, Dongpo Pork, Stinky Tofu, and Drunken Fish. The dining service here is quite different from what you'd find in southern Guangdong. We weren't offered tea after sitting down; when we asked about it, the waiter just brought three bowls for tea. There were no napkins either. Basically, they don't offer anything unless you ask. After dinner, when we requested toothpicks, they pulled out a handful of loose ones and gave us one or two. It's hard to associate this kind of service with a five-star hotel. Perhaps for a second-tier city, this is as good as it gets, so one shouldn't expect too much!

Anonymous UserThe hotel was very clean, and the large parking lot had a great ambiance. The lobby was bright and tidy, giving the impression that events are often held there, yet it was never chaotic, always well-organized. This time, I came with my family for a concert and some sightseeing. The hotel's proximity to the concert venue was incredibly convenient. Plus, they gave us a small photo card of A-Pu when we checked in! After the concert, they even prepared a tea break with snacks in the lobby, which was a really thoughtful touch! The front desk staff were all super helpful and friendly. It was so easy and pleasant to borrow an umbrella when it rained. They always seemed busy, but they'd listen carefully to requests and eagerly assist, providing excellent service every time!

Guest UserKaiyuan Guantang hotels have never disappointed, and this stay at Dayu Kaiyuan Guantang was just as excellent! The hotel is nestled at the foot of Dayu Ling mountain and is essentially an ancient village, a vivid depiction of small bridges, flowing water, and homes—a perfect place to relax and unwind! They have shuttle carts, and the staff service is exceptional and very warm-hearted! They helped us with our luggage and even pushed the wheelchair for the elderly. Special thanks to Xiao Du (Du Jingchao), Xiao Zhu (Zhu Biao), and other service staff who ensured we were always picked up and dropped off precisely where we needed to be! They left us with no worries! Xiao Lü's follow-up call was also very thoughtful! This vacation was truly wonderful and delightful!

xinmeizAn absolutely perfect vacation! The room was incredibly comfortable, with high ceilings, spacious interiors, and understated yet elegant decor. I could have easily spent both days just relaxing in the room. The hotel is nestled in the serene and beautiful Hanfei River Valley, and you can take a cable car up to the mountaintop for stunning views. The hotel service was also excellent; you can request a car transfer anywhere within the hotel grounds at any time. Our butler, Helen, provided thoughtful and enthusiastic service from even before our arrival, proactively offering information to ensure a smooth trip. She continued to follow up on all our needs throughout our stay, making this vacation truly delightful! The hotel's Tingtao Pavilion restaurant was also fantastic. We had dinner there twice, and the chef's recommended dishes were truly delicious and well worth trying.

We stayed at this resort for a two-night, three-day trip, and while the building and location were visually impressive, our overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for international travelers.
First, the golf course was not well-maintained and did not resemble the pristine images shown online. Additionally, while the archery court was fine, it lacked proper safety protections, making it a concern for families traveling with young children.
Despite being branded as an Italian resort, there was no functioning Italian restaurant during our stay, which was quite disappointing. Even though the breakfast was really good, the food options for lunch and dinner were very limited, especially for non-Chinese guests. As visitors from Nepal, we found it difficult to enjoy the meals, and one member of our group who is vegetarian struggled even more to find suitable food options. There were no alternative dining options nearby, so if you don’t bring snacks or food with you, your choices are extremely restricted.
Another challenge was the language barrier. Only one staff member could speak basic English, which made communication quite difficult at times.
While the venue might be suitable for events like weddings or photoshoots due to its scenic appearance, it’s not ideal for a relaxing getaway unless you come with your own activities planned. Without that, there isn’t much to do onsite, and the lack of entertainment, food variety, and language support made the experience feel isolating.
Overall, this resort has potential, especially in terms of architecture and ambiance, but it still needs significant improvements in service, food, and international accessibility to truly be welcoming for global guests.

This Jiangnan-style courtyard, with its white walls and black tiles, is absolutely charming and full of ancient allure. The room is elegant and clean, with excellent facilities. The floor-to-ceiling windows bring the scenery indoors, allowing for an immersive experience of Shaoxing's culture and history. The service was impeccable; the butler even escorted me to my room. It was a fantastic stay!

NuomigaoNomiThe location is excellent, right by the river, so you can enjoy a stroll along the promenade in the evening. The room is nice, and the river view is very pleasant, plus it has a bathtub. Dinner was a set menu, and the service was top-notch, with a real star-hotel vibe, and the food quality matched the standard. Breakfast had a good variety and was quite tasty; the vegetables were especially fresh and clean. My only minor complaint is that they didn't inform every table when they were clearing up. They said they'd clear at 10:30 AM, but I was facing away from the buffet area and when I turned around to get another glass of milk, everything was already gone, and it was only 10:17 AM. However, overall, the breakfast hygiene and everything else were spot on. Thumbs up! The gym seems to be outsourced, but it has a great range of equipment, which is a big plus!
