"The service was great, very warm and welcoming. They even gave me a bottle of water when I checked out. Since I arrived quite late, they made sure to remind me about the supper service times. "This is a wonderful small boutique hotel, beautiful and thoughtfully designed in every corner. I loved the summer special drinks in the lobby and the convenient 'carefree corner,' which had everything you could need. The flavored afternoon tea, featuring huangjiu (yellow wine), was a delightful and immersive experience. The hotel's location is fantastic; Cangqiao Old Street is lively and convenient, while Fushan Park and the morning market offer a glimpse into local life. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast and late-night snacks were delicious. Plus, it's super easy to get around from here. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing."

"This hotel is located in the business center of Keqiao District, Shaoxing, surrounded by the World Trade Center and Wanda Plaza, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel offers a dedicated free parking lot, though the underground parking isn't accessible. Both the front desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly and deserve praise. The room decor is simple yet stylish, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good, but the food was slow to be replenished daily. On the downside, the cleaning staff in the restaurant had a terrible attitude, glaring at guests, which really detracted from the hotel's image."
"This hotel is steeped in Jiangnan scholarly charm and boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the dining offers authentic, distinctive cuisine. The staff are warm and professional, and it provides great value for money. Highly recommended. (The above was just to meet the word count.) Here's the real positive review:
For a hotel that costs just over 200 RMB a night, including breakfast, they actually served their own handmade xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) for breakfast – that's incredibly rare! Even hotels costing over 2,000 RMB a night usually serve pre-made xiaolongbao for breakfast."
"Pros: This is an economy hotel. The location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly convenient for visiting various attractions nearby, very close to Shaoxing Station and the subway. The hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast is abundant; though it's all basic fare, there's both Chinese and Western options, and a full selection of drinks and yogurt. The rooftop outdoor dining area is very comfortable.
Cons: The upgraded rooms (those ending in 10 or 11) have huge pillars inside. Guests planning to stay here should either decline the upgrade or book a higher-grade room. The 'Quiet Elegant King Room (no window)' is extremely small, so small that if the bathroom door is open, you can't walk past it. The bathroom itself is also tiny, with no separate wet and dry areas, and the shower controls are a bit peculiar, making showering inconvenient.
Double Self-Service Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea is self-serve in the lobby. There's a dried vegetable pastry (gan cai su bing) that was delicious; I even bought more from a scenic spot later to take home."
"I loved the ambiance of the hotel lobby. The room was spacious and incredibly clean, and they provided Jo Malone toiletries, including a great little bar of soap! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Honestly, it was a much better experience than the Hilton I stayed at in Hangzhou. The shuttle, which I believe was a Toyota Alphard, needed to be booked in advance, but the front desk was happy to adjust the timing for me when I wanted to visit a different attraction later in the day. Very impressive service!"
