MMartin VerreaultIt was my third trip with my gf to this hotel and we loved it every single time. The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly kind, and the cocktails are diversified and delicious
The only suggestion I could make to make the experience even better would be a nice espresso/coffee machine experience. Generally speaking, when they make a latte/capuccino or any other type of speciality coffee the foam
Is not totally adequate and the milk used is a bit too sweet for Some reason. But this is just my personal preference! :)
I would recommend this hotel to everybody that want to enjoy a quiet/romantic time with his/her partner
我我。I left the Maya Riviera hotel on the morning of November 14, and when I checked in and left the hotel, I found that I had about 300 dollars less in my wallet. The thing is: I took a taxi to the hotel when I checked in, I paid the fare in cash dollars, so I remember there were a few hundred dollars in my wallet, and the hotel was all inclusive, so I didn't have any cash consumption during my stay. I left the hotel in the morning to go to the airport because I had to take a taxi, I wanted to prepare the dollar cash in advance, and when I opened my wallet I found that there were thirty dollars in the cockroach. During my stay at the hotel, my wallet was in my bag and my bag was on the hotel room table. During this period, the service staff of the hotel cleaning room can enter my room and take the dollars in my wallet. Because I had to catch a plane in the morning, I told the hotel staff that I didn't have time to call the police. Traveling to Mexico still has to pay attention to property and personal safety.
GGuest UserGreat Stay at Riu Playacar
We enjoyed our stay at this clean, well-organized resort with spacious, quiet rooms (ours had no balcony, but it was fine). The minibar was a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless.
Highlights:
✔ Food variety – Multiple à-la-carte restaurants (dinner reservations not needed) and buffets with good lunch/breakfast options.
✔beach – Plenty of sunbeds but no umberalla so bring your sunscreen, though pools get crowded les sunbeds.
✔ Access to sister hotels – Party lovers can visit Riu Tequila’s club nearby.
✔ Convenient location – Mini-market across the street, and Playa del Carmen (5th Ave) is just a 150-peso taxi ride away.
✔ Easy airport transfer – ADO bus (250 pesos/person, 45-min ride + 5-min taxi 150 pesos next to ado turism station).
Minor drawbacks:
✖ No elevators – Tough for guests with mobility issues.
✖ Entertainment hiccups – The host sometimes forgot to switch back to English after Spanish announcements.
Perfect for: Travelers who want good value, variety, and proximity to Playa’s nightlife.
AAMIYAStayed 3 nights. It is about 10-15 minutes by taxi from the city center. The reasonable price as of May 2019 is 200Bs. When you visit, 300Bs was taken, so please be careful if you have a suitcase. There are not so many restaurants, but the food offered seems to change daily. Dinner can be enjoyed at restaurants that require a bit formal reservation, buffet style restaurants, and teppanyaki restaurants that are limited to the day of the week. There was also a restaurant where you can eat snacks. We did not use room service, but it seemed to be so. All the dishes we ate in the hotel were delicious. During the GW period I visited, a large amount of algae was generated and I could not enter the sea, but the sand was white and very beautiful. I think there are two large pools, a children's pool, and a bath-like pool. Many of the staff are friendly and I think I was able to speak almost in English. The staff of the lobby travel agent was not that kind. Because there was bath in room and view was good, we were able to spend comfortably. It is hotel where we want to stay at again.
NNikkilaoshiFirstly El Beso is simply 1 building within the larger Ocean Rivera resort. Meaning only your building is Adults Only. Our Swim up room was lovely. We tried almost all if not all of the 10 restaurants and we had no complaints the food was good. Maybe not always amazing but never terrible. There’s like 3/4 different brands or levels of service within the larger resort. El Beso seems to be 1 level from the top which is Privilege we switched for an extra night & the mini bar for privilege was much better as well as having the butler service and priority restaurant bookings when they were all booked. There’s also a special restaurant only for privilege that was great but none of the restaurants were extremely crowded. There’s an app or webpage that works like an app with all of the resort info and you can book reservations there. There’s also lots of entertainment nightly. It’s definitely a place to go and stay there’s no need to venture outside of the resort there’s so many things to do schedules are packed for all of the different areas & a bowling alley and theater. There is not much near by the tourist area is maybe 20 mins away by car down the beach.
WWEIDONGThe room is large, clean, warm and comfortable, the environment is beautiful, the location is particularly convenient, go out is the Fifth Avenue Pedestrian Street, but it is quiet. The service is very good, the food quality is high, the rooftop pool has a good view, the rooftop bar eats and drinks well, the lounge chairs are comfortable, and the umbrellas are beautiful. We had enough of the sea in Cancun and chose this Hilton boutique on Carmen Beach, which was not close to the sea, but five minutes to the beach. Wall crack recommended!
QQiqibabahua**It was very exciting and you can go directly to the park. Both adults and children had a lot of fun. The environment is very good, the service is in place, and the facilities are complete. I will come again next time I have the chance.
