Nice and very clean and modern 4 star hotel close to the airport - staff is very professional - breakfast is also very good and satisfying. Overall an excellent experience and strongly recommended for a stay in Kathmandu.

This is a brand new hotel, located around other nice hotels. The service at Dusit was excellent and the view of the valley from the 12th floor bar was fabulous. Rooms are large and nice and the breakfast is superb. I would like to especially point to the friendly and helpful service staff at the entrance, the check-in counter (especially Mr. Santosh), and at the bar (Mr. Sumit). Highly recommended!

TravelGuy2I was in town to see the city of Kathmandu, and the hotel was a great jumping-off place. The staff were very friendly and helpful in helping me see the city. They even set up tours and gave me their WhatsApp contact to ensure my tour went well. The breakfast was great, with a good selection of food options. The gym was the highlight of the hotel. You don’t very often see hotel gyms with a high-quality air bike. I highly recommend this hotel.

Guest UserI had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, historic building. Staff was attentive and kind. Adjacent to the hotel are nice restaurants (Nepalese, Indian and very fine French). I've made use of the small but practical gym, thereafter the sauna and finishing and cooling off in the outside pool.
Only 10-15m away from the airport (outside rush hours).
I'll certainly come again.

NenanMy flight arrived in Kathmandu at 10 PM, and immigration took forever, so I didn't get out of the airport until almost 11 PM. I had emailed the hotel in advance to request an airport pick-up. I honestly thought no one would be there given how late it was and the lack of a contact number, but I saw my name card among the crowd waiting for cars at the exit. As a first-time visitor, this was such a pleasant and heartwarming surprise!
The car took me to the hotel, which is located in the bustling, central Thamel area. Right downstairs, there's a 'Chengdu Skewers' restaurant. The hotel itself is one of the tallest buildings in the vicinity and boasts a glass-enclosed restaurant on the 12th-floor rooftop, with a pool and spa on the 11th floor – quite a bold design! Breakfast was good, and the service was attentive. The location is convenient; a rickshaw takes just 6 minutes to Durbar Square.
The room size was adequate, but I was a bit disappointed to only get a room on the 4th floor after requesting a high-floor room. Also, the bathroom had a strong, foul odor that permeated the room even with the bathroom door closed. This backflow smell seems to be related to the plumbing and hygiene and definitely needs improvement. Other than that, everything else was great!

good room, very friendly reception staff. be ready for small steep roads around the area. english is a bit of a challenge, it was difficult to talk to the in room dining and spa staff, however you can ask for the reception to help. we came during election day which we didn't know so everything was closed and vehicles were not available. walking around the area is kind of a hike because there are some steep small roads to go around. if you are fit, then it wont be an issue. a lot of stray dogs as well.

Our stay at Gokarna was underwhelming. We had selected it based on their website that included a description of biking but when we arrived, there was no organized biking activities. The rooms were fine but a bit overpriced (although the beds were very comfortable). The food was unremarkable and expensive by local standards. Breakfast was not even set up when we went at 7AM. The pool was on the cold side and then charged 1800 rupees extra to use the sad little jacuzzi in the change room. There was a very noisy wedding on site the night we were there that kept us up. It can be challenging to get a taxi to the location. The golf course is beautiful though.

This is already one of the top hotels in Nepal, so there's no need to be overly demanding. The service was excellent, the doorman was particularly polite, and you can ask the staff for lattes at breakfast—they were delicious. However, the female chef making waffles in the restaurant seemed to discriminate between Chinese and South Asians; she was very hospitable to South Asians but ignored the Chinese.

The hotel staff are very kind and I have been to hotels in many countries, but this was the most friendly I have ever been to.
There is also a gym and sauna, and the restaurant is delicious.
