GGuest UserMy overall experience at this hotel was above average. The property was well-maintained, and the room was clean, Bed was not comfortable, and equipped with all essential amenities. It’s time for them to change comfortable mattresses. The staff demonstrated professionalism and courtesy throughout my stay, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. The location was convenient, offering easy access to nearby dining and attractions. Breakfast options were varied and of good quality but not the best options. While there is minor room for improvement in areas such as bed and check-in efficiency, the overall standard of service and comfort was commendable. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is so historic that it is a living museum. The experience is great, from furniture and supplies, architectural stone carvings and wood carvings to photos and pictures of history, there is a sense of time travel and fulfillment, as if talking with time and space.
Stayed in the hotel for a day, the spa was great, the Indian food was also good, and the service was especially good. The handsome front desk guy Anish lakhe took us to visit the hotel, exchanged coins, introduced food and beverage, and helped call a car to see us off. It is worth recommending.
GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at Crown Imperial Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a relaxing experience. The hotel facilities were also kept tidy and in good condition throughout my stay.
What stood out most was the customer service. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive to requests, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would be happy to return or recommend Crown Imperial Hotel to others.
NNenanMy flight arrived in Kathmandu at 10 PM, and immigration took forever, so I didn't get out of the airport until almost 11 PM. I had emailed the hotel in advance to request an airport pick-up. I honestly thought no one would be there given how late it was and the lack of a contact number, but I saw my name card among the crowd waiting for cars at the exit. As a first-time visitor, this was such a pleasant and heartwarming surprise!
The car took me to the hotel, which is located in the bustling, central Thamel area. Right downstairs, there's a 'Chengdu Skewers' restaurant. The hotel itself is one of the tallest buildings in the vicinity and boasts a glass-enclosed restaurant on the 12th-floor rooftop, with a pool and spa on the 11th floor – quite a bold design! Breakfast was good, and the service was attentive. The location is convenient; a rickshaw takes just 6 minutes to Durbar Square.
The room size was adequate, but I was a bit disappointed to only get a room on the 4th floor after requesting a high-floor room. Also, the bathroom had a strong, foul odor that permeated the room even with the bathroom door closed. This backflow smell seems to be related to the plumbing and hygiene and definitely needs improvement. Other than that, everything else was great!

LLuce96I had an exceptional stay at Dusit Princess Hotel in Kathmandu! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home right away. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern architecture with a touch of traditional Nepalese charm. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with fresh fruit and a kind hand written card.
The dining experience was outstanding, with a range of delicious options at the thai restaurant and the rooftop bar. The breakfast buffet was a particular highlight, offering a great selection to start the day.
I also had the chance to unwind at the hotel’s spa and fitness center, both of which were top-notch. Really enjoyed the use the sauna and steam room. The location is ideal as well, with easy access to major attractions and shopping areas in Kathmandu.
Overall, Dusit Princess exceeded all my expectations. The service, facilities, and atmosphere were all impeccable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Kathmandu!
GGuest UserThe room and hygiene were quite good. However, the noise from the ventilation system was a bit too loud, and I didn't sleep well for two nights. Breakfast was rich and tasty. I wouldn't recommend the lunch buffet; the variety was limited and it wasn't very good. The staff were all helpful.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a golf course, which is also a natural forest park with deer and monkeys... The hotel staff from the front desk to the restaurant are very helpful, the breakfast is quite rich, the facilities in the hotel room are relatively old but very clean... I would like to stay in this hotel for a few more days
JJonibigoodFive star historical hotel close to the city cultural landmarks and good location for excursions out of the city as well.
Comes with western fine dining and Asian restaurant which are both amazing.
GGuest UserThe hotel service is very professional, the breakfast is rich, and the front desk service is warm and thoughtful. When I asked for water, it was delivered quickly. There is also a hair dryer in the hotel, and the hot water for bathing is very comfortable.
Many Chinese people go to other places to find Chinese food, but they find that the most authentic Chinese food is on the ninth floor above the hotel. And the chocolate brownie here is very authentic. It was supposed to be eaten with ice cream, but I asked for hot ice cream, and the hotel immediately made hot ice cream. There is the largest farmer's market in Kathmandu next to the hotel, and 6 big apples cost less than 20 yuan. You can buy all kinds of vegetables and fruits here.
Because Kathmandu is often congested, if you connect with a flight, the hotel is very close to the airport, which is another big advantage.
