"This was the best hostel I've stayed in Nepal. The bunk beds offer great privacy with their partitions, and getting to the upper bunk is easy with steps instead of a ladder, making it a comfortable choice. Each bed also has a locker, so you don't have to worry about your valuables. The room is air-conditioned, and housekeeping cleans very frequently. Rahul at the front desk is super friendly; he'd always greet me and ask how I was doing every time we met."

"Extremely wonderful hotel 15 minutes walk from the airport. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and I always felt well taken care of. The gym is well stocked and has a great view of the city. Breakfast was another highlight and included many delicious Nepalese, Indian, and Western foods. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, helping me call taxis for a cheaper fare than the tourist rip off price, and they also helped me store my luggage overnight while I went on a yoga retreat. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!"

"If you want to experience the local life, including the nightlife, like me, this is definitely the best choice, not only because this hotel is the center of the nightlife nearby, but also because it is convenient to go to Tamir everywhere! Even if you are tired of other meals, you can find authentic Chinese restaurants on foot. More importantly, the staff and the boss here are really friendly, helpful and cute! As shown in the picture, after leaving the store, I left my bag here because I still had a lot of time to walk around. Although it was kept for me for free, it was still very careful to help me lock my luggage in a room alone! When I was about to leave, the boss treated me to a whiskey for free, just like an old friend (I ran out of cigarettes and got a cigarette for free) In short, this comment is sincere. If you only know a little English, it’s okay to choose here. If you only know Chinese, don’t worry too much. Their front desk brother knows a little Chinese, which is enough to meet your needs! (By the way, I saw a cleaning lady cleaning every day, and the mineral water given in the room was two large bottles, which is beyond your imagination)"

"The staff were lovely and attentive. The room was dusty and the lights flickered frequently, but overall it was livable. Breakfast was good. However, it was noisy downstairs at night. I understand they were probably cleaning the restaurant, but it was late at night, so I wish the staff would keep the noise down because people on the first floor could hear it clearly."

"The place is a bit difficult to find. In an alley, you can enter from the restaurant on the first floor and it is very close to the bus to Bokhara. There is hot water bath at night, and the hotel has a rooftop where you can drink a little wine but clean it yourself."

"Excellent new hotel. The staff were super friendly and even helped us carry our backpacks up the stairs. They also printed our visas for free, which was a huge help. Our room was clean and cozy, with nice bedding and a soft bed. For the price, this is the best hotel we've stayed at in Kathmandu. I'll definitely be staying here again next time."

"After traveling around the world for over 12 years, I've become very selective of where I choose to stay. I enjoyed Aryatara Kathmandu Hotel so much that I extended my stay an additional week. The rooms are clean and comfortable, hot water showers, cold AC when needed, and free internet. Some stays even offer a complimentary free buffet breakfast. There's also a travel desk to help you with booking excursions. The location is ideal for exploring local cafés, pubs, local landmarks and restaurants, all within walking distance. The staff are very professional and personable, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel."
