The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our villa was luxurious, spacious, and impeccably clean
The food was exceptional across all the restaurants. We particularly loved the seafood at the Sirena Restaurant. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a wide variety of international and local options.
Shangri-La Boracay is the perfect destination for a relaxing escape.

Incredible stay! The staff were the highlight—so attentive and friendly. My room was clean, comfortable, and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The hotel provided a wide selection of food and drinks at very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend hotel for any kind of guests.

We would not recommend the breakfasts, plenty of better places closer, it is not a buffet style and the food presentation can be poor. No hot water during our whole visit (warm at best).
The staff at times are friendly but not as good as other five star hotels that we have stopped in.
The spa treatments were very good, the gym was basic and had poor lighting.

MMushroommogumoguThe second time I stayed at Exploration. It is a worry-free choice to stay at Exploration in Boracay. It is located in S1, which is relatively quiet, the beach quality is also good, and there is free airport pick-up and drop-off. In addition, the attitude of every service staff I met is super nice~ Although the swimming pool is not big, there is a hot spring pool next to it, and it is still very comfortable to soak in it; there are not many types of breakfast, and the more popular dishes are not available if you go too late; the room is quite large, but if you are sensitive to light, remember to bring an eye mask, because the room uses roller blinds, which do not block light and leak light seriously, so you don’t sleep well, and you are very tired when you go to bed late and wake up early. The shower water pressure is sufficient, which is great~ After all, it is important to take a comfortable hot bath. If the room can be replaced with blackout curtains, I think I will choose Exploration again when I go to Boracay next time.
