When I first entered the room, I saw the balloons prepared for the birthday boy, which was very thoughtful~ The children's play area is the focus. Almost all visitors are families. Because there is no crowd control, it is difficult to play with too many children at the same time. Older children are more afraid of getting hurt if they rush around. Facilities It’s not a lot, but it’s also clean. Children are happy to play😆. There’s also a waiting area for parents to play table tennis😀 Small disadvantages: The room was not clean enough, the floor was full of dust and debris, there was a slight musty smell when entering the room, and the water marks in the bathroom and toilet were not completely wiped, so I asked the housekeeping staff to clean it again. You are very polite. It will be much better after cleaning. However, the refrigerator in the room was not plugged in at first. There was a small birthday cake in it, but it had been left unplugged for 4.5 hours. The mother did not dare to give it to her child. Later, she reported it to the counter. It is an environmentally friendly refrigerator and the temperature will not be too low, but the important thing is that it is not plugged in🤔 So when the housekeeping staff was cleaning, I asked them to report it again and replaced it with a new cake... I felt that the hotel was a little careless, but overall it was acceptable. I hope the owner will pay more attention to details~

Although the housekeeper immediately went upstairs to check if there was a smell of smoke, there was time for the early morning check-out at 11 o'clock, the room was open and the smell was long gone. In fact, we just want the hotel to apologize or tell us that we will strengthen the non-smoking label of the room space after we tell us, instead of the other way around, you didn't smell the smoke ⋯⋯ Is the taste of the morning a fantasy? The problem of the shower head failure also said that we can immediately reflect and will help change the room, but the bath time is already late at night, and no one will check all the equipment immediately. Do the guests have to drag their tired bodies before going to bed and change the room? Did the last tenant not clean the bathroom floor after checking out, so did not notice that the bathroom faucet was wrong? Moreover, there is only one or two toilet paper in the two rooms. Since it is packed in the noodle carton, it is found that there is no paper when using it. Although you can get a supplementary package downstairs, it shows that the little housekeeper is completely indifferent to the details. The password informed when you check in, When we went back, we could not use it due to machine and equipment problems. Although we arrived early to store our luggage, the housekeeper should inform us immediately if the equipment malfunctioned. We returned to rest at 4 pm for a while during the prescribed stay. There was no way to open the door. If it weren't for the cleaning staff still there, no one would help open the door. ⋯ The housekeeper called us after the check-in time to inform us that the password lock was changed. ⋯ Overall, this homestay is an unqualified accommodation experience. I will not consider returning to Tainan next time.

We stayed two nights in Roots Inn Tainan, I think it’s highly recommendable. The rooms are simple, but clean. It’s got a mini fridge for you to store all the delicious goodies that you may buy in Tainan. No bottled water nor coffee/ tea in the room, but all is provided in the 6/F communal living room. It’s a nice setting to enjoy after a long day out, we bought some snacks from the food stalls near by back to the living room because of heavy rain outside. The living room has all the dining ware that you’ll need, and a nice big dining table to spread your feast out. Location is very convenient as the alleys nearby are filled with food stalls at night. Service is excellent, we asked for extra hand towels and hand soap, they provided that to our room while we went out. The receptionist mentioned to us that even after check out, we are welcome to rest in the 6/F living room before we had to leave, which is very nice. On a side note: BMS cafe nearby is excellent for western breakfast and coffee, we went there for both mornings during our stay.

Great location to Tainan Art Museum Building 2, just opposite to the hotel breakfast was good with varieties of food room is spacious and cleanliness was good concierge really to offer help

This is my second stay, and it’s still very good. The bathroom, beds, and public areas are all impeccable. I just want to give you some small suggestions. #A chair can be placed under the sink in the shower room, so you don’t have to stand while drying your hair #The table in the public area can put a pack of toilet paper (for wiping your mouth, eyes, etc.), so you don’t have to run to the second floor to get it from the shower room. Fantastic stay at Silks Place, we particularly enjoyed the very spacious rooms, free fruits/tea in the room as well as the heated outdoor pool and the roomy gym.

The location is very good Right next to Chikan Tower I recommend everyone to buy Puji which is just around the corner next door. very delicious The room is very big and clean The considerate person also prepared wooden spoons and chopsticks. Don’t worry about not having cutlery when having late night snacks When you first check in, your luggage will be delivered directly to the room. The attitude of the service staff is also very kind and polite. There are staple dishes to choose from for breakfast (Chinese, Japanese and Western) Then there are some buffet options The beef soup is delicious! Overall it was a very happy experience Hope to come back and stay again

The FX Hotel was an excellent choice for our 3-night stay in Tainan. The location is in the heart of the West Central District, meaning that popular sightseeing and food spots are just a few minutes walk away (I highly recommend Chef’s Cap Indian restaurant literally just around the corner from the hotel!). The room came with a very good shower; a bidet-style toilet which was quite tight; a comfortable bed; a desk and a sofa. We requested two extra pillows and had them quickly. The restaurant’s breakfast was not very diverse but what they did have tasted very good. All in all, I would stay in this hotel again as it was very good value for money - if for nothing else, then for the location alone!

Old furniture and building. Provide free car parking which is great in center of Tainan, but need to stamp at lobby ticket which guardian gives you at parking. When I have asked for separate blanket (for double bed) they said they only can give plaid. When they has given it to me I found it is stinky, so I asked them to change for clean.

Location of the hotel is ok with some of restaurants around. There are few stairs in front of the hotel. When we arrived the hotel, no one to come out to help us to carry our luggages (total four big to medium sized luggages) to the reception. We had to do this by ourselves. We booked two deluxe rooms and arrived around 2pm, the receptionist asked us to come back at 4pm as the rooms were not yet ready and emphasised the checkout time should be 11am. Since the checkout time is so early, the hotel should provide us the room sharp at 3pm according to the agreed terms. After some arguments, the receptionist promised to send us email when the rooms were ready but couldn’t guarantee to give us the rooms by 3pm. At last, it was good the receptionist notified us the rooms were ready around 2.35pm. The room is spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. No toothpaste plus toothbrush and bottled mineral water are provided. A plastic bottle is provided for you to go out to the machine to get the drinking water while the toothbrush is provided after asking the receptionist. Understood it is for green environmental protection but not convenient for the guests. The breakfast is not attractive as chose of foods are limited. Learned that the Chinese foods of the hotel restaurant is quite good but we couldn’t try it as the Chinese foods are only provided from Friday to Sunday. Car parking is very good and it is free
