Hotels Near Zheng's House in Tainan

Downtown location, 15 mins walk from the local ********* train Tainan station (not high speed one). Front desk provides a good food map, and there are a free drinking water machine and a laundry room for guests to use. Hotel seemed busy, only suggestion: front desk staff could be more welcoming and smiley. Taiwan keeps the standard high.

Nice location and good service. It’s about 300 meters to the train station. Hotel Tainan is more than 60 years old, the furniture is old and the room is relatively small. The bathroom is small but comes with a bath tub. No hair dryer and no safe in the room. Surprisingly the room key is still old style. The check out time is 11 am. I stayed extra 4 hours from 11 am to 3 pm and I was charged $NT 1130.

The hotel is on a bus route between the Tainan Railway Station and Fort Zeelandia. It occupies several floors of a building with plenty of eateries around. The room is clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. It serves a ********* breakfast buffet, including traditonal congee and buns, that may not suit the palate of some westerners. Personally,I pefer some western dishes like fried eggs and bacon. The staff is efficient and courteous in answering my enquiries about the public transport. In any event, I will consider staying in this hotel again.

The men's sauna is very nice. We've tried the swimming pool and gym as well. The facilities are nicely maintained, totally worth the price. Upper level rooms do not have a bathtub, which is the only thing that we think is unfortunate during our stay, oh and the pillow service seems to be very limited, we started our night on Friday, but it was already rented out.

Fantastic stay at Silks Place, we particularly enjoyed the very spacious rooms, free fruits/tea in the room as well as the heated outdoor pool and the roomy gym.

The hotel is super near the train station, making it of high accessibility. Meanwhile, the staff are very helpful and polite. Room is spacious and will be cleaned every day. Wonderful experience here. The shower facility is also good. The breakfast at the hotel is very fruitful too. It provides various food including Chinese, *********, Japanese, Thai and western food. In general, it’s an extraordinary experience and would be put on my list for another stay again.

To share an area that could be improved, probably the room air. It seems that central air-conditioning type hotels, which have been in operation for many years, will have this air-conditioning smell. My little daughter who is not sensitive to smells does not feel it. What she was most satisfied with was that the bathroom in the room had a bathtub, so she could soak in it for 30 minutes and was very happy. After opening the windows for ventilation, the air in the room feels better. There are so many choices for late night snacks and breakfast at such a price. I really feel from the bottom of my heart that the attitude of the service staff is very good. Different from the catering industry, I am really surprised that the hotel can have such good service (responding to spoken words and helping to press the elevator when passing by). The bed is also very big and comfortable. Recommended to relax!

10 “Luxury bunk beds for wild camping” When I made the reservation, I saw the Guqu Suite (bunk and bunk bed type) and decided to take my kids to Tainan. After checking in, it was indeed a worthwhile trip. There are four single beds with independent spaces and comfortable mattresses. It feels like camping in nature, but it is clean and comfortable. You won't want to get up until dawn! The hotel is very new and clean. What is commendable is that the bathroom and toilet are separated, which is convenient to use without waiting. There are free cookies and coffee available in the lobby on the first floor for self-service. The front desk staff were gentle and courteous, and answered all questions. They were very satisfied from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for families with children! There are flat parking spaces in the hotel (two underground floors). There are parking spaces for guests staying in. If you want to go to Shigu Park, you can walk there, and you can get a 50% discount on tickets with your proof of stay!
