The condition of the car was good, and the return process was smooth. Since it was an airport pickup and drop-off, I found it a bit more convenient to use. I received the car on the 3rd floor of the domestic terminal parking lot. It was easy to drive. However, I would advise against driving in Bali if you are not used to the narrow roads. I once hit a curb and got a flat tire while driving on a narrow street, so I hired a driver to get around after that.

I contacted the car rental company directly via WhatsApp beforehand and arranged for airport pickup, saving me the time of going to their branch. Whether beforehand or during the trip, any problems I encountered, even those unrelated to the vehicle, were answered promptly via WhatsApp, which was incredibly helpful! I experienced the warmth and hospitality of the Balinese people. Highly recommended for anyone planning a self-drive tour in Bali. My only advice is to ask the staff to teach you how to use the navigation so they can guide you; otherwise, you'll have to rely on your own phone.

Don't risk a bigger accident for a smaller one. The car is in decent condition, but has a battle-damaged look. A small SUV is well-suited to Bali's rough roads; avoid larger vehicles, as they will cause significant problems. Don't rely entirely on Google Maps; you might end up driving into a ditch. Also, be extra careful as the insurance doesn't cover tires. Avoid driving on gravel roads or off-road; no one will come to your rescue if an accident occurs. The price is reasonable, much cheaper than renting directly at the airport. The service is decent, including airport pick-up and drop-off, saving you time and energy dealing with unlicensed taxi drivers. Overall, it's good value for money, and the interior is clean. In summary, don't expect too much on this small island. A small SUV that won't break down can save you a lot of trouble, making it a good value overall.
