I absolutely loved its antique charm. The check-in experience was great, and the hotel's exterior always made me feel like I was coming home after a day out. The service was excellent, and the facilities were complete. It's located on Qianmen Street, very close to Tiananmen Square, and the surrounding area is incredibly convenient. Public transportation, including buses and subways, is also easily accessible.

Value for money with basic standard amenities. I would like a bit more comfortable bed and an extra pillow but that is because I am a bit more fussy with sleep. Conveniently located for the temple of heaven. Close to Tiantandongmen station and Hongqiao market where you can go to the 5th floor and enjoy probably yhe best view in Beijing. Have only asked for some coffee but there was only complimentary jasmine tea so gave 5 for service but only requested something once. They left us extra water though which was greatly appreciated.

This is our second time staying in a Manxing hotel in China so we had some sort of expectations. Unfortunately, the first impression was not the best due to the limitations of a historic building, the lobby is very small and we met a group of tourists checking out with several kids frolicking around. It felt chaotic. However, the Manxing staff quickly redeemed themselves with their warm services so it was all good.
We were happy with our room in general, however I could think of a few improvements: (i) to install a rack or similar for holding up a suitcase; (ii) to install better sound insulation windows as we could hear the noises from the street, if it is not possible due to it being a historic building, at least provide ear plugs in the room.
The reason why I gave a 4/5 in cleanliness was because of an incident in breakfast. On our second breakfast day, we discovered that the glass water kettle for serving hot water had grown algae inside. We informed the staff and it was immediately taken to clean. I believed we were actually the first to arrive at breakfast so no one had drunk from it yet, however this little incident shows that the hotel needs to train their staff better. Even a seemingly clean kettle for holding water needs routine cleaning!

I've always been a fan of Holiday Inn Express, and this stay was no exception. We chose it for our kids' autumn break trip to Beijing, and the location was fantastic – close to the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Military Museum, and the Capital Museum. The restaurant on the second floor has huge floor-to-ceiling windows, offering lovely views of the autumn scenery while you enjoy breakfast, which was really pleasant. The breakfast quality was also excellent, easily comparable to a 4-star hotel.
The room itself was very bright and spacious, and the soundproofing was great. After walking 20,000 steps a day exploring Beijing, it was incredibly comfortable to come back to. All the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. I was particularly struck by the magnificent ginkgo tree flourishing right outside the hotel entrance. We had different hotels booked for each night of our trip, but this Holiday Inn Express was definitely the most satisfying one of them all. The only minor drawback was that the hairdryer in the room tended to conk out, but you could always ask a staff member for a new one.

This hotel boasts an excellent location in Dongcheng, close to the city moat. The breakfast is convenient and tasty! Most importantly, it's very close to Tiananmen Square, which is great for sightseeing!!! The service is fantastic 😎, and there's a lucky tree that's lush and green, which adds to the nice atmosphere. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing ^-^

UrCove Hotel is extremely conveniently located right in the heart of the city, just next to the Forbidden City in Beijing. It’s a perfect base for sightseeing, with many major attractions within easy reach.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to note down their names, but they were incredibly supportive when I requested a room change, needed to extend my stay, and even during early morning checkouts. Their efficiency and warm attitude really made a difference.
I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.

A truly pleasant surprise and excellent value for money! The service here is exceptional. My family and I stayed for 4 nights straight.
**Facilities:** Modern.
**Cleanliness:** The cleaning staff are incredibly diligent. They even folded our clothes! My own comb broke during our stay, and the cleaner quietly fixed it for me – that was a lovely surprise.
**Environment:** Superb! The subway entrance is just over 100 meters away, and it's within two stops of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of malls and restaurants nearby, so dining is easy. What's more, despite being in such a convenient location, it's surprisingly quiet. The windows must be well soundproofed because you can't hear any traffic noise at night. The view from the window also offers a lovely modern city vibe.
**Service:** This is definitely the biggest highlight. The front desk staff are incredibly attentive. For our last night, it was New Year's Eve, and we couldn't book a twin room, so we ended up with a king-sized bed. We were bracing ourselves for the hassle of switching rooms, but the front desk staff quietly paid attention to this detail. When a twin room became available, they called us to ask if we wanted to switch. This kind of extra service, truly thinking from the customer's perspective, deserves huge praise! 👍👍👍

When visiting Beijing, this hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes from the subway station. The biggest challenge when exploring Beijing is all the walking, often 20,000 to 30,000 steps a day. Staying on Qianmen Street is incredibly convenient. There are shops everywhere, so you can eat and shop right downstairs. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the Beijing cold out of the room.

Very well located in the Dazhalan Walking Street in the middle of Qianmen area, and a very short distance to the main road for being dropped off and picked up at the designated point. Very lively and bustling tourist area, a great location as a base to explore Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and a 45-minute taxi ride to the north gate of the Summer Palace (Beijing's Must-sees). No need to think of food as in-house breakfast at the Ibis is very complete and great value! Rooms are well-sized and appointed for the price! Very cozy area overall! Friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk, room attendant and even ayi at the kitchen! Great stay!

Great location near the metro and convenience stores. There was daily water replenishment and room cleaning, excellent heating, and the neighborhood is quiet for resting. It is possible to walk to the Temple of Heaven. I loved it and highly recommend the place.

AAnonymous UserThe room design was very stylish, and the front desk staff was incredibly kind. They even escorted me to my room to explain everything during check-in. The room itself was exceptionally clean and warm. If you need to iron clothes, they have a garment steamer available to borrow. All the drinks in the minibar are complimentary, and there's plenty of bottled water provided. The coffee shop on the first floor is beautiful and perfect for taking photos.

3300117****The room was a bit small, but the facilities were great and it was very clean; I didn't even need to use the disposable toiletries they provided. Just a short walk outside the hotel are Qianmen Pedestrian Street, Dashilar, and Xian Yu Kou, where you can sample all sorts of delicious food. What's especially convenient is that the bus to the Great Wall is right at the entrance of the pedestrian street. You can make a spontaneous trip to the Great Wall without any prior planning – just buy your ticket on the bus whenever you feel like going, it's incredibly convenient! The hotel is also close to the subway station and is very quiet, tucked away in a hutong, making it easy to get around. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary fruit platter.

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel for our entire six-day trip to Beijing, primarily to avoid the hassle of switching hotels and moving luggage mid-trip. On our first day, Beijing experienced a heavy downpour, and our room unfortunately had a leak. The hotel promptly moved us to a different room with a window, which was a significant improvement. It felt much less damp and generally more comfortable, especially compared to the first room that lacked a window and had the leak. The hotel provides complimentary drinks and coffee. After long days of sightseeing, the last thing we wanted to do was laundry, so having access to the hotel's washing machines and dryers was incredibly helpful. The elderly gentleman working the night shift was also very warm and accommodating.
The main drawback is its location: while it's close to the Dashilar snack street, it's quite a trek to the nearest subway station, about a 14-minute walk. This is definitely something to consider if you're traveling with children, as making that walk back to the hotel after an exhausting day of exploring can be quite tiring.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic; you step right out onto Qianmen Street, and it's right next to the famous Siji Minfu Roast Duck restaurant. The area is incredibly lively, with a wide variety of snacks available. My only minor complaint is that the rooms are a bit on the small side, but honestly, everything else is quite good. Considering it's in a bustling city like Beijing, it's still a really solid option.

MM525440****The hotel is very close to Tiananmen Square, with a Ya'er Lijia restaurant just across the street. It's also very near a subway station, making getting around super convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. Plus, there are two large shopping malls nearby, which is great for shopping and dining.

AAnonymous UserWe were three people staying in this room type, and it was really good. For a hotel in Beijing, the price for this amount of space is excellent. The room is very spacious, and it mainly features a long desk and a small round table, which is perfect for organizing many items. The hotel environment is also very pleasant. The only minor drawback is that the water pressure might be a bit low, but overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk service was excellent, with a warm, smiling staff, and they also offer free luggage storage. This is my second time here, and I highly recommend it to friends because of the great service. Plus, it's very close to Zhushikou Station on Line 7 and Line 8. Transfers via Line 7 are also very convenient. I was in a hurry this time and didn't take any photos, but I hope this helps families from out of town planning to visit Beijing.

MM403734****Advantages: City center.
Disadvantages:
1. Poor signal, no soundproofing.
2. Limited hot water flow, too strong and runs out quickly.
3. Loud faucet noise.
4. Bed too soft for those who prefer a firmer bed.
5. Small room, only one suitcase can be opened at a time.
6. Voices outside sound like the door is being opened; accumulated hair and dust in the corner of the bedside table, indicating poor cleaning.
Unsuitable for business travelers; I couldn't answer several calls from my courier; China Telecom only had 4G, China Mobile only had 5G, both with 3 bars of signal. The hotel has Wi-Fi, but the speed is average.

SShenganleisilabajiabailiThe service was excellent; they were very responsive to all my requests and even let me check out late for free, which was a great help with my luggage. The room I booked didn't have a window, so the ventilation wasn't great. There was a slight smell from the bathroom drain, but it disappeared once I closed the bathroom door and turned on the air conditioning. Everything else was quite clean. However, the soundproofing wasn't very good. If you need it, I'd recommend booking a premium double room. They were fully booked when I arrived that night, so I had to make do with this one. The space was a bit small, and my large suitcase easily got in the way of the door when opened. Overall, the environment was decent, the service was great, and the location was excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. But if other room types are available, it's definitely worth upgrading to a better one. This time, it was fully booked, and there were no other options. Otherwise, no major complaints.

GGuest UserLocated 700 meters from Zhushikou subway station, it's very close to Dashilar and Qianmen. The room was small but clean, not greasy at all, though the soundproofing wasn't great – but that's typical for hotels in this area. We stayed for 4 nights with our child, and for the price, it offered excellent value for money.

KKugaiweidenanshenI was probably not satisfied with the room. I booked a window in the aisle or corridor, but after searching for a long time, I still couldn't figure out where the window was. I felt that the merchant was dishonest, so I just said there was no window, which made me feel more balanced. After making a hole in the roof, I finally found the window. But what’s the use of such a window? Moreover, I booked for 6 days in a row. When I checked in on the first day, I found that the bathroom had no door. I asked to change rooms, but they refused. It took me a long time to persuade them to agree to change. It felt really bad. Moreover, after staying for 6 days, the bed sheets were not changed proactively. This kind of service is a bit disappointing.
