The service is attentive and thoughtful; front desk staff proactively helped with opening doors and carrying luggage, and provided warm ginger tea upon check-in. The lobby offers free fruits, snacks, and hot beverages all day, which is very convenient. They also thoughtfully display the daily flag-raising and lowering times at Tiananmen Square, which is very useful for tourists. Transportation is convenient, with Qianmen subway station just a 5-10 minute walk away, making it easy and time-saving to visit various attractions by metro. The breakfast selection is rich, even featuring Beijing specialty snacks like Douzhi (fermented mung bean milk) and Jiaoquan (fried dough rings) for those interested in trying local flavors. Overall, this is a distinctive hotel, perfect for travelers looking to experience the charm of old Beijing while enjoying comfortable and convenient accommodation. Highly recommended.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a 10-minute walk to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, and the subway station is very convenient. There are also many great restaurants nearby. The room was a bit small, and the soundproofing wasn't the best. The front desk staff were very friendly and even proactively offered me a complimentary breakfast. The rooftop on the eighth floor offers beautiful views of the Forbidden City, making it a great spot to relax in the summer.

Cleanliness: I was initially quite worried after reading some reviews, as several mentioned poor hygiene. However, the cleanliness was actually excellent! Facilities: Breakfast, a convenience store (Bianlifeng) right downstairs, and a bar – everything you need is here. Many foreigners choose this hotel too. There's also an ICBC bank right across from the hotel. I had a minor issue with the door lock; my key card wouldn't work, but the front desk promptly sent someone to fix it, and it was all sorted by the time I returned in the evening. The heating was very strong, almost too warm! The location is incredibly convenient. The subway station is just across the road, and it's surrounded by a shopping district, making it easy to get anywhere. The shower pressure was great, and they provide a Laifen hairdryer. Service: Four-star quality! The cleaning auntie even helped fold my clothes and neatly arranged my slippers, leaving the room spotless. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing!

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent; it's right by the subway station, making it super convenient to get to attractions and shopping areas. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was impressed by the warm and elegant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and efficient. The room was more spacious and brighter than I'd imagined, with a great view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Attention to detail was evident everywhere: the mini-bar had a wide selection of drinks, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the smart devices were very convenient. I especially want to commend the breakfast; there was a diverse selection of both Western and Chinese options, and the local specialty snacks were very authentic. At check-out, the front desk even proactively asked about my stay and helped me book a car to the airport. It offers incredible value for money and is definitely a top choice for both business trips and leisure travel. I've already recommended it to friends, and I will definitely stay here again next time I visit this city!

Value for money with basic standard amenities. I would like a bit more comfortable bed and an extra pillow but that is because I am a bit more fussy with sleep. Conveniently located for the temple of heaven. Close to Tiantandongmen station and Hongqiao market where you can go to the 5th floor and enjoy probably yhe best view in Beijing. Have only asked for some coffee but there was only complimentary jasmine tea so gave 5 for service but only requested something once. They left us extra water though which was greatly appreciated.

The hotel name is a little misleading as the name outside doesn’t actually say “the yard hotel”… it says “Pierre Palace Hotel” so it can be a little confusing to find the first time you arrive. It is very close to the Entrance of Qianemen Ave Security checkpoint where your didi driver will drop you off and you will have to walk a short 100 meters to get to the hotel, which is directly across from Lawson’s Convenience store. The location is 10/10  on the bustling street of Qiananmen Ave. Do not miss your chance to go to Michelin star “Quan de Jude” Roasted duck restaurant, which is well known in Beijing and just down the street. The staff here are very helpful, especially Mr. Zeng who is able to speak Cantonese and help provide us with instructions and information. If you need to communicate in English only, a translator app will help tremendously. We love the style and decor of this hotel, it has a classic yet charming interior. We originally booked an inside room without windows, but during the check-in process, they offered a room with windows with better ventilation at no extra charge for our comfort. The only downside is that they do not have an on-site restaurant. If you booked a room with free breakfast, they will give you a breakfast voucher and you go to another hotel nearby. You can also have the option for them to deliver the meal to you at 7 or 8 AM And they will hang it on the door knob of your room without knocking to disturb you. The breakfast menu selection was not our favourite. If we return to Beijing, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The location is excellent, right next to the food street, which is super convenient. The customer service was incredibly helpful. When checking out, we had a lot of luggage and a stroller, and they actively helped us move everything across the street to the car. A big thank you to them!

The facade isn't grand, but the rooms inside are surprisingly cozy with comfortable underfloor heating and smart controls. It's a very affordable and great-value little hotel right near home. The service is professional and friendly, and transportation nearby is convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

I've always been a fan of Holiday Inn Express, and this stay was no exception. We chose it for our kids' autumn break trip to Beijing, and the location was fantastic – close to the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Military Museum, and the Capital Museum. The restaurant on the second floor has huge floor-to-ceiling windows, offering lovely views of the autumn scenery while you enjoy breakfast, which was really pleasant. The breakfast quality was also excellent, easily comparable to a 4-star hotel. The room itself was very bright and spacious, and the soundproofing was great. After walking 20,000 steps a day exploring Beijing, it was incredibly comfortable to come back to. All the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. I was particularly struck by the magnificent ginkgo tree flourishing right outside the hotel entrance. We had different hotels booked for each night of our trip, but this Holiday Inn Express was definitely the most satisfying one of them all. The only minor drawback was that the hairdryer in the room tended to conk out, but you could always ask a staff member for a new one.
