My friend visited Beijing and stayed at the Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel on North 3rd Ring Road, and the experience exceeded expectations! The hotel lobby was showcasing a special exhibition, 'Maize, Gold, and Jaguars: Ancient Civilizations of the Maya and Andes,' in collaboration with the Capital Museum. We didn't have to make a separate trip to the museum; we could enjoy the exhibition while checking in. The display had a very exotic vibe, perfect for photos. We even got to try themed ice cream. The location was a huge plus. The North 3rd Ring Road offers convenient transportation, and getting a taxi to core attractions like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing was very smooth, saving time and effort for travel. The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel facilities were complete, and the service was excellent. This hotel is highly recommended for friends traveling together to Beijing. It's a win-win: accommodation plus an art exhibition. A great choice for your Beijing trip!

The family room was incredibly spacious, much larger than the 22 square meters advertised on the booking website. It was well-equipped with amenities like a washing machine and a refrigerator. The service was excellent; the room was cleaned daily, and water and towels were replenished whenever needed. The staff were very accommodating, allowing me to check in at 8 AM and check out at 2 PM, which was a huge convenience.

I stayed at the Guohua Kaiyuan Hotel for a business trip. It's an established five-star hotel located near the central axis, with a rich cultural atmosphere. The room had ample workspace and stable internet, and the bathroom facilities were in good condition. The lobby was grand and well-organized, and the front desk handled check-in and check-out efficiently. The subway station is conveniently close, making it easy to access various business districts. The hotel offers comprehensive amenities, so I could relax and rejuvenate with a gym and swimming pool session during my free time. Overall, the management is well-regulated, security is strict, and it's a reliable and worry-free choice for business travelers. Highly recommended.

This stay was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The overall decor is simple yet elegant, with a comfortable and understated vibe. The cleanliness was impeccable; the desk and floor were spotless, and the toiletries were of good quality. The staff were all very welcoming and provided excellent service without being intrusive, always ready to help when needed. The location is superb, saving time and effort for sightseeing and getting around. There were no hidden charges, making it a truly pleasant accommodation choice for my trip. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

My stay here was excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was just the right firmness. I loved the smart features in the room, especially the robot that could deliver takeout. A big shout-out to the front desk lady whose service was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating – she helped with everything I asked for. The hotel's location is also great, with convenient transportation to nearby attractions and dining spots. Highly recommend!

Pros: Decent sized room and bed, with plenty of space for luggage. Good shower and bathroom. Modern and clean. Nice shared lounge area and public spaces around the hotel too. Great location near the metro. Cons: Sound proofing could be improved. Bathroom had a glass wall and door, which the privacy curtains didn't cover - fine for me as a solo traveller, but if you're travelling with others it would be very awkward as you can see literally everything. Also, although I specifically booked a room with a laundry machine, there was no laundry detergent so I had to hand wash my clothes anyway. Similarly, a kettle was provided but no tea etc - these small things are usually provided in other hotels.

No major issues or disappointments during my stay. 1️⃣ The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop, though the subway station is a bit further, requiring a walk north. 2️⃣ The room had floor-to-ceiling windows offering a decent view, but they were a bit tricky to open (I managed it the first time, but not the second). 3️⃣ The service staff were very friendly and helpful. 4️⃣ Breakfast was pretty good (with accompanying pictures). 5️⃣ For those sensitive to noise, it might affect your sleep. I could hear footsteps, water running from other rooms, and conversations in the hallway at night, but the noise level was generally tolerable. (Oddly enough, one morning an alarm from another room kept going off for about ten minutes – that was quite frustrating!) 6️⃣ Nearby attractions include Ditan Park (which I visited and enjoyed for a walk) and the Lama Temple (which I didn't get to).

The room was very clean; the duvet and mattress pad felt great, no itching at all, which is a big deal for my sensitive skin, so it definitely proves how clean it was. The toilet and shower facilities were also quite new. I showered late, so there was some water and hair on the counter, but the cleaning staff would take care of it first thing in the morning, so it wasn't a big issue. Plus, the young lady with glasses at the front desk was super nice. I came back very tired after watching the flag-raising ceremony at dawn and wanted to check in early. She kindly let me check in early for free after switching me to an available room type. I'm incredibly grateful; you're really vulnerable when you're that exhausted 🥹. Anyway, if I come to Beijing alone again, I'd definitely stay here.

This is my first time reviewing a hotel, and I'm truly incredibly satisfied. This is my first visit to Beijing, and I've stayed in such a pleasing hotel. The hotel is just a few hundred meters from the subway, just around the corner. I initially booked for one night because I was worried about the cleanliness, but when I arrived, I found the hotel to be very clean and odorless – I'm really particular about smells in hotels. I booked a room with a window, and the natural light was excellent. Plus, there's a fridge inside, and the whole room is smart. The Coke and Nongfu Spring (mineral water) were both complimentary, so I extended my stay for another day. The front desk staff were also super nice. I went out sightseeing the next morning and didn't return until evening. The cleaning staff had tidied the room very carefully; none of my belongings were touched, but all the trash was cleaned up perfectly. When I got back, I asked the front desk for a few more bottles of water (I didn't know the cleaning staff had already been) and their attitude was super good as well. Next time I come to Beijing, I'll definitely stay here again.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a three to four-minute walk to Anzhenmen subway station, making it super convenient to get to the Bird's Nest and Olympic Sports Center. Travel was a breeze. This hotel is brand new, opened in 2026, so all the facilities are pristine. The rooms are fully smart-enabled, with smart toilets and lighted makeup mirrors. Everything was spotless, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. The subtle tea scent in the lobby is very soothing, and the front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic during check-in. They even have robots delivering meals, and there's a self-service laundry room with a dryer. This is my top choice for business trips or vacations. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!
